Nobo-san was prompt to meet us, and continuously made sure we were with him. He would explain the metro stops before we got on a train to make sure we knew how many stops the train would make before we got off. At each of the four places we visited, he would give us detailed information about the site and its history. Nobo-san is very knowledgeable about Tokyo. We really enjoyed spending the day with him and learned a lot about several places in Tokyo.

Tsukiji Market where one can encounter all kinds of Japanese traditional foods. A mixture of wholesale and retail shops along with numerous restaurants line the streets and new culinary trends are born here. Let's try fresh seafood and traditional Japanese food. These are ideal for breakfast and lunch.
Sensoji Temple is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Japan. There are some historical buildings such as the five-story pagoda and the Hozo-mon Gate(Treasure-House Gate) inside the temple grounds.
Tokyo Sky Tree is the world's tallest tower with a height of 634 m certified by Guinness World Records. There are observation tables at 340 meters above the ground and 450 meters above the ground. There is a cafe on the observation deck. You can enjoy the scenery while drinking tea at the cafe. On sunny days you can see Mt. Fuji.
Ueno Zoo is a Tokyo Metropolitan Zoo. It was opened as the first zoo in Japan in 1882. Currently, about 400 species of animals, including rare animals such as Sumatra tiger, are bred. The number of admissions is the best in Japan. There are many exhibits on the site, including the Giant Panda Building and Japanese wild birds and animals such as sika deer and Japanese serow deer, the Japanese animal section, and the forest where the gorilla tigers live.
There are about 500,000 users of scrambled intersections per day. And the number of people who come and go with one green light reaches 3,000. It is a tourist attraction that many foreign tourists pay attention to when it is interesting that a lot of people walk at the same time without getting hit by each other at the same time.
The Meiji Jingu Shrine, which was built in 1920, enshrines the Emperor Meiji and the Empress. Many Japanese worshipers and foreign tourists visit this shrine throughout the year. Because it is called a power spot, your fortune may rise. You may see a couple who wears a wedding dress in Japanese clothes.
A radio tower with a height of 333m, constructed in 1958. There is a view cafe and Tower jingu Shrine. There are two types of lights-up: Landmark Light, which emits light toward Tokyo Tower, and Diamond Veil, which emits light outward from Tokyo Tower. Landmark lights are white in summer and orange in winter.
Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is a garden representing the Meiji period that combines a well-formed garden, a landscaped garden and a Japanese garden. It was built in 1906 as an imperial garden. The garden is surrounded by over 10,000 trees and offers seasonal scenery and landscapes. There are several historic buildings in this garden. You can learn about the imperial history from these buildings.
It is a cafe where you can interact with owls. Many people will smile when you interact with owls with adorable charms. When you are depressed, when you are tired, it will heal you. This owl cafe uses classical music and chandelier lighting to create healing effects in order to provide customers with extraordinary healing.
It is a cafe where you can interact with hedgehogs. This cafe is not open for lunch or dinner but serves only drinks. There are hedgehogs that want to play with you and those that sleep on your hands. They are very cute.
Hama Rikyu Gardens was opened to the public April 1, 1946. The park is a 250,165 m² landscaped garden surrounding Shioiri Pond, the park itself surrounded by a seawater moat filled by Tokyo Bay. It was remodeled as a public garden park on the site of a villa of the Shōgun Tokugawa family in the 17th century.
The Imperial Palace is in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. In the premises, there are houses of the Emperor and Empress, the palace, the Imperial Household Agency office and so on. In the Tokugawa period, it was used as Edo castle. Nijyubashi bridge is also one of the best tourist attractions. Even though the Imperial Palace is in the city, it is a place full of nature. The skyscraper streets around will make the nature stand out more.

We met Kono-san at our hotel. It was a walking city tour. He was adept at navigating his way around all the sites we chose to see. He took our photos which was nice! The next day he emailed them to me. He was a very sweet tour guide. We enjoyed him very much. The only reason we didn’t rate this tour a 5 was his English was pretty difficult to understand. Also he didn’t know answers to some questions. Otherwise he was excellent at getting us around to see many points of interest.
great way to explore as first-time visitor. the guide was knowledgeable and efficient. he was also patient regarding our unfamiliarity with the city
Great day spent Kono-san. What a pleasant day. So knowledgeable. All the sights were amazing. What a city
Kono is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, personable and patient. The sites covered by this tour are very interesting. There is a lot of walking done, but is well worth it. Request Kono as your guide. You will not be disappointed.
We covered a lot of ground, a good thing. Saw several sites with a delicious lunch. It was our first day, the guide educated us in how to use trains, markets to visit and other helpful information.
Fantastic day out. Exhausting and difficult at times because of mobility issues. The public transport system is not as catering for the disabled as previously expected. There are a lot of steps to encounter. But Akiri, our guide, was very adaptable and much appreciated. Thank you Akiri.
We had Kono-san. We spent 10 hours going around Tokyo and saw more with Kono-san than we could have on our own. Thank you Kono-san for an excellent day. Would recommend if short on time in Tokyo.
This was a fantastic experience! I loved that it was catered to my tastes for the trip. It was wonderful having an expert navigator in Tokyo. I really loved visiting the local sushi shop. It was a really special day out
Fantastic experience being guided by Kono through Tokyo. Everything went seamless, with Kono knowing every corner of this big city, whilst 1) telling us all the rich history and context for the sites we were visiting, 2) teaching us Japanese culture and customs, and 3) being great company. Can highly recommend booking a tour if you are visiting for the first time (as the city is so big and can be overwhelming to map out yourself) and particularly with Kono as your guide. Practical: we were a group of 4 booked with Kono to visit Meiji Jingu, Senso-Ji temple, Tsujiki market, Imperial palace and Tokyo Skytree.
This was a great tour. We saw a lot and enjoyed all the places we went to. Our tour guide Funiko was excellent. We were a family/friend group of 8 and she always checked that we were still together. She was patient with all our stops. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of what we saw.
I enjoyed this tour with Kono very much! It was very good and very informative. He is a good tour guide.
A wonderful brief introduction to Tokyo visiting several popular landmarks with our informative & friendly guide Kono.
Yoshio was a fantastic guide. Honestly, I enjoyed talking with him more than the sites we saw. He is 80 but you wouldn’t know it! This was my first time to Tokyo and I only had 2 nights. This tour allowed me to see sights, use the subway, eat the best sushi ever, and make a friend. Strongly recommend. It’s an easy way to get introduced to Tokyo.
We had a trip with Kono to the fish market and the temple . He also took us for a great sushi lunch and enjoyed the fresh tuna
Yumi was an incredible guide. She was very patient with our family of 5. We saw so much and learned so much about Japanese customs, culture. She also made sure we spent enough time in each place so we can fully take in the experience. Greatly recommend!
Great curated tour with very energetic and informative guide, lot of fun memories - worth of recomending
Guide seemed very knowledgeable, but his English was not great. Quite a bit of difficulty understanding each other. He also walked fast and way ahead of us.
The rain. We did not sign up for a 10K. We spent most of our time walking to and from subway stations in pouring rain rather at the actual attraction. The guides were good and helpful but they need help with transportation.
Great tour! We were able to get to everything I wanted to see done in one day. Friendly guide that was knowledgeable.
Quick trip into Tokyo after our cruise. Kono was a great guide and explained things in detail. We had fun
Noby Kono did a fabulous job as our guide. Very friendly and accommodating to our every request. Highly recommend him as a private guide in Tokyo.
Noby did a great job leading us around the city on public transit to see the sites. It was Cherry Blossom time in Tokyo so sites were quite busy but Noby guided us along to our requested sites.
Yumiko was a fantastic tour guide. We did the 6 hour walking tour, after choosing to see 4 sights in Tokyo. She explained everything we were experiencing. Her knowledge was outstanding. We would never have been able to navigate the subway system without her. Our tour ran over time but she was not bothered at by this. Her English was excellent and she tried very hard to accommodate all our requests. It was by far our best day in Tokyo!
Great tour! Kono-San guided us through the city, took wonderful pictures of us, entertained us with stories, and took us to a wonderful restaurant and markets.
We only had a single day to see Tokyo at the end of a trip and we entrusted Umi to guide us around town. She showed us the highlights and was polite, fun and energetic.
Tour guide turned up on wrong day and was supposed to get another tour guide to turn up on correct day, but then spent 1.5 hours to find out what was going on, eventually was told I would get an email which I have still not received or refund - I will not take up with my credit card company !
The best part of this guided walking tour was absolutely being able to meet Yumi - our guide. She was so professional and welcoming - and did everything she could to make sure we were satisfied with our day. She was able to answer all of our questions and assist us with ideas for the remainder of our week.
Pretty good guide Knowledgeable All day metro ticket included Downside - I would have expected breakfast or lunch or at least even a drink to be included at this price point
Our tour guide in Tokyo, Kono-san, was knowledgeable and friendly. He took us efficiently through the city with public transportation, and gave us a memorable day despite heavy rain. He is highly recomended.
Yoshio was the perfect tourist guide. He patiently answered all of our questions, had extensive knowledge about the places we visited and Japan in general (current and historical) and could navigate the train system with ease. It was a perfect private sightseeing day in Tokyo despite the rain and we would definitely rebook for future adventures - asking for Yoshio as our guide. Yoshio - Thank you for a perfect day. Your patience, kindness and knowledge was greatly appreciated. Stefan had a saki (or two) for you and wished you could have joined him! We wish you all the best. Tracy and Stefan.
Kono was a great tour guide! We really enjoyed the fish market & eating sushi. We learned about the temples & the culture. The owl cafe was very interesting. We had a great day!
Our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about Japanese history and the sites we visited. He was also very thoughtful of our personal needs, such as well timed lunch and water breaks. We learned a lot and had a wonderful day.
Yoshi was a great guide. He made sure we were taken care of. He was full of a lot of information about the country. I recommend this tour. Yoshi let us customize what we wanted to see and in what order.
Yoki was our guide. He was really awesome and accommodated according to our itinerary. Really recommend this tour. Thank you so much.
Being able to talk to the tour guide. She was very friendly and knowledgable. She was able to take us to all the places and more.
Kono-San was courteous, knowledgeable, and kind. He tailored our tour to whatever we chose including animal cafes, delicious sushi, and exploring Asakusa.
Yoshi S. our Tour Guide, was an absolute gem. Picked the 3 of us up at our Tokyo hotel at the time we requested. We then discussed what we wanted to visit with Yoshi's input, as Tokyo is a very big city & you can see only so much in 6 hours. Having a guide take you on the Tokyo subway system is extremely helpful. We three tourists all live in a large North American city with a subway but the Tokyo one is a total maze and yet amazing. Would highly recommend this private guided tour & it definitely deserves a 5 star rating.
Kono san did an excellent job taking me around to see all of the sites on my wish list. He was very knowledgable about the history of the places we visited and explained the customs as well. Kono san was also able to find great photo locations. I wouldn't have been able to fit as much into a single day or been able to use the subway so efficiently without his help. It is a great tour for anyone looking to fit as much into a day as possible with an expert guide to help them make the most of the day
We were so excited to take this tour but didn’t get to experience as were informed of no guide 2 hours prior of start time. I was never contacted or emailed regarding any cancellations. I reached out to ask for time of pickup the morning of. The response was that the trip cancelled, can I switch to another day. It was too late to swap to another tour on the same day because all were booked up. I agreed to adjust to the next day and asked if the date change was automatic to the next day. The rep Maya stated no and will confirm my pickup upon booking a new reservation. Unfortunately, there were no available dates for another 48 hours. The options weren’t feasible due to our vacation ending in 48 hours. Had I been notified in a timely fashion I could have possibly found another tour the next day and fulfilled my family’s destination goals. I know things happen but I expected better communication than what I received.
Set up day tour of Tokyo. Paid for tour. Flew for 14 hours. On arrival found they had over-booked and didn't have a guide available. They canceled on us. We didn't ha e time to find something else. Still haven't seen my refund.
Our tour on Oct 25. 6 hours. Was excellent. Our guide was very courteous and always looked for escalators or elevators so we wouldn’t need to climb so many stairs. He went at our pace and explained the things we saw as well as talking about life in Japan. He took us to a small Resturant for an amazing hibachi lunch. My husband got very tired so we found a place where he could rest while the guide took me around the Japanese garden in the park. The he returned us to our hotel. Would definitely recommend his services
Kirei, my guide. It felt as if had been friends forever. She went over and above to accommodate my wants and needs. She was able to adjust my my wish list to better cover as many things I wished to do and see, as possible. Although I loved seeing so many of the must see sights as possible. I most enjoyed having lunch with her and our conversations. Kirei is extremely knowledgeable about the history and modern Tokyo. As well as knowing the botany and indigenous plant life, while visiting the gardens.
Yumiko SANO, is an amazing person and I could not have had a better guide. She is knowledgeable, personable and kind. I loved her spirit for her country and how she shared that throughout our journey. I so enjoyed the different foods we tried at the fish market, the views from the towers, the experience of the temple and shrine, and the crazy walk in the Scrabble. We enjoyed watching street performers and tasted fares along the way. Can’t go wrong, do it folks!
Nice person; not great subway knowledge. Didn’t get to see very much. One place closed; why did we gi there?
Our wonderful guide Yumiko, she’s the best and so thankful she encouraged us to rent the kimono which turned out to be the most fun & memorable thing we did in Japan.
We love the with Kono San. He is so kind and informative about the Japanese history. Truly a one in a time experience!
We had short stay in Tokyo so we wanted to see top attractions and hired personal guide for 8 hours. We agreed six top attractions with our guide Kono in advance & visited all with great ease using combination of metro & walking thanks to his expertise and knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble & he compiled photos of key visits & forwarded them. Would highly recommend Kono.
Terrific guide who made every effort to share information! He got us where we wanted to be and was completely professional. An excellent experience for first timers in Tokyo!
Yumiko was a knowledgeable and fun guide. She met me right at my hotel and tailored the whole day to my interests around Tokyo.
