The hosts were amazing, well Informed gracious, kind and we learned so damn much, this is a much stop for anyone who likes, loves, or wants to learn about sake.

Here we learned the history of sake, the various types of them, and how each type been produced. It's so fascinating to see how many different sake are available in Japan. The tasting experience was impressive that we had the chance to compare various sake at the same time, from their color, clearness, smell, taste, etc. We gained a lot of take-aways. Absolutely worthy to try it!

I never knew sake had such a wide range of flavors! Such a unique and fun experience, made for a very memorable night. We learned about how sake is made and what impacts the color, clarity, and flavor. Taking the opportunity to try sake side by side from such a variable collection helped us learn our own tastes in sake. I really enjoyed the fruity sake (some tasting just like lemonade!) and my boyfriend’s favorite was the Dassai Beyond. Many of the sake we tasted we would not have found or tried back home. We had the 8pm tasting on a Tuesday night so we were the only ones in the shop along with our host who was incredibly personable, welcoming, and so so fun to learn from. It felt like a friend excitedly showing us their sake collection, we could have happily stayed trying sake for another hour or two. I’m so happy we did this!

This was awesome. Anh was fantastic. She took her time to answer all our questions and gave us great explanations. We learned so much and had so much fun. We were torn between this and the class with the Sommelier, but I’m glad we chose this one. I think this is the right class for anyone who doesn’t already have much knowledge about sake. Plenty to drink included as well!!! Loved it all.

Wasake was an amazing experience! We did the guided tasting with 11 people, and the owner and guide were so accommodating. From answering our questions about sake brewing to what their favorite ramen was in the area - they were the best hosts. Definitely consider Wasake for your sake tasting experience!

Very fun experience we all had fun and learned a lot about the different sake types and flavors. We also had fun with learning the process and seeing the different rice types used for it

We learned so much about sake in an environment that was friendly and casual. After the informational and primary tasting session, we were given 7 “coins” to use towards tasting options based on personal interest. These were accessible via 30 different sake “taps” (for lack of better word) and more rare bottles at the bar counter. The experience ran about 2 hours. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience full of knowledge and fun. The two hour experience was worth the price, with a variety of sake on offer to try the many different styles present in Japan. The host was very knowledgable and provided suggestions based on styles we liked. Crowd was a small, intimate size and allowed for easy interaction with other patrons and the host. Would recommend for anyone in Tokyo wanting to experience a range of sake.

An excellent overview and history of Sake, with great hosts! Alongside the 3 x initial Sake tastings, I loved being able to select my own 7 x additional Sake tastings from the extensive menu, trying a range of different Sakes to find the profile I liked most. Would recommend!

This was an excellent experience. Our Sake Guide Nori was so knowledgeable. She explained about the process and was so patient with all of our questions. We had three varieties to taste and talk about. Then we were given coins to choose our free time tastings. Plenty of knowledge and Sake.

Tried sake for the first time and had a fantastic session with Norrie. She was incredibly friendly and expert at breaking down subtle flavor profiles, making me feel completely at ease. I never felt overwhelmed, even when trying the complex 10-year Koshu, which ended up being my favorite! I highly recommend Norrie for anyone looking to dive into the world of sake.

Great experience with Norie! She was super knowledgeable about the Sake and the history of it. Never knew there were son many different kinds. Definitely would do this again. Well worth it. Make sure you eat before hand lol.

Such a fun experience! Did this on a rainy Tokyo day and it was a perfect way to spend the evening. The staff is so friendly, you get to learn aboit sake and you get to try many kinds. It was also fun to make new friends with the other people who attended!

An amazing experience! Very in depth explanation of the characteristics of Saki. You also get a flight of Dassai to start (my favorite) and then get 7 coins to essentially try 7 different Saki’s. If you’re with a group, it’s very easy to share. Highly recommend!!!!

This is a fantastic experience to learn all about sake. We had Ain as our guide and she was so helpful and provided a really fun night for us! She gave us a great rundown on how sake is made, classified, and best enjoyed. She had recommendations for us, but also gave us all the freedom to choose. We bought a bottle to enjoy later as well! Later in our trip we visited another sake bar and we felt so much more knowledgeable about what we were doing because of this experience!

Anh was amazing!! She asked what I typically like to drink (I had never had sake, but used my knowledge of wine, beer, and made great recommendations)! She was very personable and made the experience super enjoyable. Lots of different sakes, sure to suit anyone. So glad I decided to do this! Highly recommend.

You get to learn about basics of sake and choose different ones to try and taste them. There are some uncommon/interesting ones which I would not have known (and I don’t think I have seen them at usual Izakayas also) so it was perfect for someone like me who like to drink for the sake of taste not to get drunk

This wasn’t remotely the experience I expected. I figured it would be a tour of different sake bars where I would essentially be forced to try random Sakes, but instead you sit at a cute little store where you’re given basically a private introduction to sake and then you’re given 10 coins to “purchase” up to ten different sakes. My friend and I found this perfect, as we combined coins to try the more expensive/fancy sakes. This system also allowed us to essentially try double the sakes, since we could order all different ones from each other. I tried all the sweeter/less strong ones, and he had all the stronger ones, so it was a good mix for both of us to be happy. Honestly, we both enjoyed it more than we expected to and it was exactly how we wanted to finish up our Japanese experience.

Opened my eyes to the world of sake - broke the assumption that it tastes grim by trying a whole range of types. Bo our guide was really good in guiding us through the production process and also helping us select the ones to try.

Good experince. Funny way to taste sake, you can taste what ever you want and pick from a kind of vending machine. We went late at night and felt a bit rushed because the guy wanted to close. Would recommend going earlier so you have enough time to really experience and taste sake
