It was very fun. The people who run the classes are extremely nice and will try to teach you how to make the food the best they can. Not to mention the food is delicious. Overall I totally enjoyed my experience and I really recommend it for anyone who wants a fun, chill cooking session.

Itinerary
In this hands-on cultural cooking experience, you will create an Art Character Bento (Art Charaben) inspired by “Red Fuji”, one of the most iconic works by Katsushika Hokusai, a world-renowned Japanese artist. Using rice, colorful ingredients, and traditional techniques, you will design a beautiful bento box that expresses the blue sky and the vivid red Mount Fuji—a symbol deeply loved by the Japanese people and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This experience offers a unique way to enjoy Japanese art, culture, and food all at once. Please note that the selection of side dishes may vary depending on the day and seasonal availability.

Fun experience. Rowena was extremely helpful in guiding our progress. The flavors worked well together so it was a very tasty bento to eat as well.
The place is welcoming and the staff is friendly. The experience is excellent. I loved it.
Really exciting experience. Bento was easy to make, even though it looked difficult at first. Thanks to Rowena sense everything went smoothly and it was really fun. Thank you for the experience!😊
Good cooking experience in Japan

Thank you so much, we loved this experience!
Local recipes, good atmosphere, tasty food!
Nice, relaxed cooking class. There’s not too much asked of you, we did an interesting food art and some of us got to actually participate in some cooking like tamago and miso soup. Our hosts were very nice and answered my questions about the eating habits in Japan.
Everything was amazing! The food making and the staff were really great 💘
We made a bento inspirated on a montain photo, It was great and the teacher helped a lot.
I came here thanks to KOKO JAPAN and the whole experience was free! You get a chance to meet other Japanese students while making a creative and artistic bento. Plus, you get to eat it at the end 😜 chill atmosphere, good place for events, I recommend!
An experience of 10. The bento was beautiful and delicious, it was a shame to eat it after doing it. The teachers are very friendly and explain step by step the process to create bento, as well as the picture that is replicated. It was very interesting the whole process and I could feel the affection that goes into decorating the bento. We stayed for about an hour and the atmosphere was great and very quiet. It is an activity that can be enjoyed whether you go alone or accompanied.
I experimented with the construction of Mount Fuji. You took care of me carefully and we had a good time waiting. If you are interested in Japanese culture, please participate in the description and material description of the paintings of Fuji.
It was an interesting experience. It was so easy to make my first bento.
I'm glad Rowena taught me how to make beautiful vents. I paid attention to it throughout the class, so it went smoothly.
It is interesting to know the practices of convenience in Japan, the staff is kind and hopeful to have the opportunity to do it again
It was really fun to explain the food, Dr Rowena was kind and the rice was delicious!
The bento was very delicious and the cooking class teacher, ROWENA, was very kind.
I liked Hokusai’s paintings on a regular basis, but I was able to try making his own lunch boxes, which was a very good experience. The teachers were all very kind and I really enjoyed making them! I would love to participate in the next one!
It was a good experience, the food was delicious and the teachers were kind, so I want to go back to it.
Very funny, we made bento del Monte fuji
