The staff were super friendly and helpful and made the experience seamless. I got there early but they were able to accommodate me and even suggested colours that would suit me which was good and they gave me directions too

The ladies assisting us in the Kimono Rental are so efficient snd expert and helped made our Kimono experience memorable and unforgettable .
Fantastic kimono rental and dressing. So well done by friendly and very skilled team. We added on reasonable hair styling and upgraded some of the kimonos and accessories. The nearby temples are gorgeous for taking photos. We enjoyed this thoroughly. Only thing I would add. Warbo is on the 4th floor of the hotel building. Tiny bit hard to find initially.
There’s nothing like wearing a kimono in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. I am especially happy that the shop has larger sizes for taller/wider people. The ladies working at the store don’t speak any English, so do use a translator app like Google Translate or Papago. Despite the language barrier, they were very helpful, and fast at helping my family and I get dressed up. Even our hair took little to no time in getting done! Great experience.
me and my sisters went to do this experience and absolutely loved it! Staff was super friendly, and nice and the kimono's were so beautiful that we wanted to wear them all! We originally didnt have hair styling included but we could add that on the day and pay the difference there. You get to wear the outfits for quite a long time so we went to a nearby park to take photos and people would stop us to take pictures and clap as we were walking by so safe to say we had a blast and felt super beautiful. Definitely an experience we will cherish for our lifetime! Highly recommend it!!!!
The proprietors were very prompt, courteous and respectful. They dressed me to the look I wanted with their wide choices of Kimono and accessories. The only recommendation I would make is to make their address very clear because it wasn’t easy to find. It’s in the 4th floor of the building where Uniqclo is housed. That would probably be a more descriptive clue.
A most do for beautiful pictures. Easy to find and 2 min away the template. And you can wear all day
This was the most fun! I highly recommend! It's an inexpensive way to enjoy Japanese culture. You pick your kimono, wrap, bow, and shoes. They help dress you and then you enjoy walking around Tokyo where there are little shops, a shrine, and restaurants. This was the most unique thing we did in Tokyo.
It is located on the 4th floor in Uniqlo Asakusa building, easy to visit! You can rent until around 6 pm, already include kimono/yukata, obi, shoes and bag (for men, women and even kids). For the hair, you can choose from various style. The options were pretty and the staff so helpful when you can't decide what to choose. It is okay if you can't Japanese language, the staff will still try their best to speak with you. Really recommend!!
It was a very fun experience to wear a Kimono in Asakusa. The staff at Kimono rental WARGO were very supportive and friendly. If I want to rent a Kimono or Yukata again, I will definitely book with them!
This is my first time wearing Kimono and it was a fun experience to stroll around in it. Kimono Rental Wargo is not far away from the station and easy to find. They have variety of Kimono and Yukata you can choose. The staffs were also very friendly and even gave us recommendations on the color. For sure, this can be one of your to-do lists in Japan!
It was very nice experience, the staff is frendly and they can manage with little english. the hair styling is very nice.they will help you to get ready. Totally loved it
Thank you きものレンタルwargo 東京浅草店 for a wonderful experience!! We really had fun! I'm glad I found you on Facebook and had a great time celebrating my post- birthday in Asakusa Tokyo with my Family. 🫶💜 everyone here are so caring and polite. I will definely go back and try the other Kimono. 🫶
The Kimono experience was unique!!! My partner and I were in love with the traditional clothes. The staff was super kind and helped us choose the Yukata that would fit us better. I definetely recommend it to everybody going to Tokyo.
Superb experience! Everyone was so friendly and the yukata experience is exquisite. Definitely one for the books. Thank you everyone!
The traditional Japanese garment, the kimono embodies the rich cultural heritage of Japan. With Japan wonder travel, we explored the captivating experience of renting a kimono, from the selection process to the transformation it brings in our appearance. The journey begins with choosing the perfect kimono. Rental shops offer an extensive range of styles, colors, and patterns. After choosing kimono, the next step is the dressing process. After wearing yukata with help of shop manager me and my daughter enjoyed walking in the streets of Asakusa district. The kimono rental experience is a delightful journey into the world of Japanese tradition and elegance. While strolling through these picturesque locations of Asakusa, me and my daughter captured the attention of passersby. Wearing yukata acts as a bridge between the past and the present, connecting wearer with the rich cultural heritage of Japan.
This is my second time renting a kimono from Wargo and both experiences have been great! They are very attentive and make sure that you look your best before you leave the store. The prices are also very reasonable! I definitely recommend! *English only👌🏽*
A wide range of beautiful kimonos to choose from. The staff was kind and accommodating. I appreciate their effort and patience in the kimono fitting and hairstyling sessions. The location of the rental shop was perfect: walking distance from Sensoji Temple and Asakusa's shopping streets.
My doughter and I had a great kimono experience here. The staff is very friendly ..Highly recommend this kimono rental shop, you will have a great experience!
This place is situated in a 4th floor, next to colorful Asakusa Yokocho. You are free to choose your yukata, belt, flip flops and a bag. The most interesting part is the yukata dressing and the beautiful belt wrapping. I wouldn't have been able to do it myself.
The yukata and obi selection is good. The location is perfect for taking photos at Sensoji Temple afterwards. The process was quick and straightforward. I didn’t love the communal changing room and not much English was spoken which made some moments a bit confusing, but no big deal.
Just a 2-minute walk from Asakusa Donki, within the same building as Uniqlo on the 4th floor accessible by elevator, I had a fantastic experience at a kimono store. I had booked through JapanWonderTravel and arrived around 11:05 AM. Despite the staff's limited English, they were accommodating. They guided me to choose a kimono, and in the changing room, another staff member expertly helped me put it on. The process was seamless, with a wide variety of kimonos available in different sizes. I enjoyed strolling around Senso-ji in the kimono, taking plenty of photos. I highly recommend this kimono store to everyone!
When you first walk in it is a little overwhelming especially as a first time Yukata wearer. You also have to get changed in front of other customers so there is no privacy which was a bit shocking to my friend and I. It was a little busy but the wait to get fitted wasn’t long at all! Which was a plus. The staff was very efficient and some of them spoke English. There were plenty of beautiful Yukata to choose from and overall we had a great experience!
My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time wearing Yukatas and walking around Asakusa. There were so many beautiful outfits to choose from. The staff was friendly, quick, and spoke a little English. I highly recommend anyone looking to rent to go to this place.
It was a really great kimono or yukata rental store. The location was also good for the travelers. I went there at the weekend and it wasn't that crowded. And outside of the store was a food court with a bunch of cool japanese decorations. And since it was inside a tall building, you don't need to worry about the rain and you can have a good time in the building. The price normally is 6000yen for 2 people. And they offer all different kinds of yukata for you to choose. And best of all, they will help you put it on and teach you the japanese way of wearing it. They also let you put your bags there. And the staff could also speak English!
The best experience wearing a kimono near Asakusa! The staff was very friendly and they helped me a lot. There are a lot of designs and colors, depending on your plan you can choose the kimono, the obi, a bag, a hair accessory and a pair of shoes. (they show you which ones are extra price and which ones are included in your plan) And you can choose a beautiful hair style too! I enjoyed it a lot all day, thank you!!
It is an understatement to say that this Kimono Rental Experience was amazing. It was more than amazing! A must- have for everyone. I have gone to and around Asakusa before. This would also be my second time wearing a Kimono (Kyoto was where I’ve tried wearing one). This experience though is more special. The styling process and immersing myself into the Japan tradition while walking around Kimono is more meaningful. About the store: the location was close to Sensoji, there are also options to ride the jinrikisha (hand pulled rickshaw) if you want to visit Tokyo SkyTree and see the Kirin Building. There were lots of choices from the Kimono, Obi, bags and zori/sandals. From lace, silk, cotton - they have them all. The bags, too, come in traditional, modern, colorful/ plain, big and small sizes. It took me a while to choose the style, color and accesories (they also style your hair. If you want to have your hair hair curled , they have a premium course). The staff were welcoming, friendly and it is fascinating to hear their reactions with the choices and combinations of Kimono, Obi and bag. It made the vibe in the room lively and it felt like we were all friends dressing up for a special occasion. They wanted everything to look more stylish so they even touched up my hair and obi with accesories. I was expecting that the time to rent the Kimono was for 3 hours. I got dressed at 1:30 and my rental was until 6:30 pm. It was more than 3 hours! Expect that there are lots of people since Sensoji is a popular spot in Tokyo. Of course, I wanted to have a photo where I am the only one in the photo, with the time given, timing and patience, I was able to have one. This experience immersed me in the traditional Japan’s way of dressing and temple/ shrine visit. People also came up to me to take pictures and some to comment on the Kimono. One of the best part, I made friends along the way. Thank you Japan Wonder Travel for suggesting this activity and store!
Very good service, the girls a love of people, help you to choose if you have doubts, beautiful kimonos. Super recomendo.
Wonderful experience and service. Nice atmosphere and hospitable, caring and attentive people. I recommend!
