The samurai experience was very educational, interesting and fun. Yu was an attentive teacher and provided a lot of support. The group size was very adequate and we got to dress up like samurais. Definitely recommend!

An absolutely fun and amazing experience. If you are looking for an immersive activity to learn about Japanese Samurai culture and history then this is the place to go. The activities led by the instructor were well paced and very fun to do. He was absolutely brilliant with his instructions as well as his sense of humour and warmth towards us. The museum tour afterwards was also absolutely amazing. The guide did a phenomenal job of both entertaining and educating the visitors as we toured the exhibits. Honestly she would have made a phenomenal history teacher if she ever decided to become one! Visiting this museum is a huge reason why I have enjoyed my holiday to Japan thus far!

Great experience, learnt a lot from our guide for the experience. Enjoyed putting on some Samurai Armour and being able to wield the blade. The learning of some fighting moves, the dueling with my partner. The step by Step instruction of attack, and then becoming a Ninja. All very much worthwhile and highly enjoyable. Try it and enjoy it for yourself.

Fantastic two hour experience - worth every penny. From costumes to samurai lessons to history talk , a history lesson and a ninja session, it was brilliant. Do this trip...it will be a highlight. Our samurai instructor (Ryo) was exceptional.

Really great family experience! We did a samurai and ninja experience. With the samurai you learn how to use a sword and with the ninja you get to throw a star and use a blow pipe. Great fun for the whole family! Recommend it.

The tour was fun and informative. I’d recommend it. It is in a nice area and the people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable.

Ryo was an amazing instructor for our English speaking family of 5 (adults and teens). We did the private Samurai experience, which took an hour. We dressed like samurai, each selected our own real swords and walked through a series of actual training moves (Ryo is 22 generations samurai). Then with foam swords the family got to fight each other and the winner one a shurikein. Amazing time. 5/5 for all of us.

Great demonstration by Master Ryo! It was an awesome experience to be a ninja and samurai for day! The instructor helped us understand the ways of the samurai.

Koki was a very good instructor. We had so much fun. Highly recommended activity when in Tokyo. Wearing the Samurai costume made it realistic.

Amazing so much fun I enjoyed it and I beat up my friend with a padded bat because I needed to avenge my father’s name in front of the class. I wish I was a ninja ninjas are awesome and I enjoyed the class so much I could move to the mountains and start a new life of ninja training with monks.
