Thank you Mei for an amazing experience! It was so wonderful to see the neighborhood and temple. Would recommend this to all of my friends!
Our guide was perfect! Knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. She explained everything and knew about every detail of the area.
We enjoyed the tour with Sachi!
Great experience with Tommy. He was waiting on time. It was a small group of 6 participants which we loved! His English is excellent and he was able to provide many interesting stories and history for the Temple and surrounding area of Asakusa. I would not hesitate to book a tour with this company in the future. Thank you
Good way to get an introduction to Akasuka. Our guide was enthusiastic and friendly. Her personal attachment to the neighborhood was a bonus.
Great experience! Easy to find and great historical information. Our tour guide knew the best spots for pictures as wel
Loc was amazing and so knowledgable of the area. My friend and I have been in Japan for a while travelling and it was one of the best tours we have done!
We took the group tour of Asakusa and Old Tokyo on October 14th with Keiko as our guide. It was a very informative and enjoyable tour as Keiko did a nice job explaining the history and culture of both the Buddhist temple and Shinto shrine together with the history and growth of Tokyo. Despite the large crowds, Keiko did well in taking us aside to better explain what we were seeing and answer the tour group’s questions. A very good experience!
Great experience. Our guide was lovely . Go early to avoid crowds
Had a great experience with Miyuki as our tour guide. We learned a lot about Japanese history, culture, and food. Interesting sites all along the walk. Loved it.
A tour of an area with a lot to do. Be prepared to want to come back to this spot after the tour to take advantage of the other activities it offers.
The walking tour was great! Mayako was the most lovely, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide you can imagine! 100% recommend the tour!
Amazing tour! So much knowledge - we had the best time with Mayako!
Hokori spoke very good English and did a great job explaining the Buddhist temple and the Shinto shrine and their long history and importance to the Japanese people. This was a very good tour on flat terrain that also took us through some of the Asakusa market area.
It was just enough to learn how to navigate Asakusa and independently afterwards- Hiroko was kind and a wealth of knowledge.
Interesting tour. We were given Historical information, as well as modern stories about Tokyo. Also good recommendations for places to eat.
Hiroko did a nice and good job to show us around old town tokyo. I liked her explanation about it and she was really sweet
Our guide Hikoro was great! So nice and knowledgeable. Loved the tour as well, learned a lot about old Tokyo. Would recommend!
It rained the whole time, but that really didn't matter, our guide made the experience interesting and engaging. The history was good to understand and learn more about the differences in Shintoism and Buddhism.
Paulina was an excellent guide. She showed us around the significant parts of Asakusa and explained the historical context of the area, its temples and shrines. Her explanations of the religious rituals was very informative and enlightening. We enjoyed it very much.
Hiroko was the vest! She replied to every question we asked. Very knowledgeable! Thanks for the experience!
Our guides Taiga and May are very helpful. Taiga knows the history and area well and explains them excellently. I got a skin infection on the trip, Taiga helped me to find a doctor and took me there at the end of the tour. He is very kind and helpful.
Very knowledgeable guide and great initial tour to get a good start to learning about Tokyo. Well worth it!
Mei was a fantastic host. She expertly guided us around Senso-ji temple showing up what to look at and explaining what everything means. After the tour she took us through the streets and showed us a few good places to eat and pointed out other landmarks in the area. Arigato gozaimasu Mei, we really enjoyed your tour.
Nana was an excellent tour guide with a lot of good knowledge and very well spoken English. We really enjoyed her tour and skills recommend to anyone’s
Very good tour with mei lots. Of history
Mei was a good guide very knowledgeable!
Going early (8:30) really paid off to see everything without the crowds. It was our first morning in Japan and so great to get foundation in Buddhism and Shinto religions and the temple and shrine, plus the great food recs.
Hiroko was our guide and she was amazing! It was fascinating to learn the history and Hiroko had so many helpful recommendations for other places to visit in the area!
Very good guide, Keiko. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful as well as fluent in English. She made it a great experience despite the crowds and unseasonablw heat in late October.
Nice tour but very crowded. Our guide was a Ukrainian lady who was very knowledgeable and easy going and made the tour fun
Did the first morning tour on 20 October . Guide was excellent. Highly recommended
We hesitated coming to this neighborhood after reading all the warnings about crowds. We booked for 10:30 and already it was busy. However, this tour was well worth it and the crowds were not really a problem. Our guide, Loc, made sure that we stayed together and gave us interesting information along the way. I can see why this area is so popular. There is so much to see and do. If the crowds are making you think twice, just book for the morning. 9:30 would have been perfect since you would be able to see the area a bit before the shops open at 10:00am.
She was amazing and interesting. My Grandson and I had a great learning experience of the culture, that we could not get on our own. We loved it!!
I like to do a walking tour of the area we are staying in at the beginning of a trip. I did not feel this was very informative on the area or the temple. I would not recommend to family and friends. You
Miyuki was fantastic!! Very interesting and freat guide
Miuki was the best, i would love to come again!! She gave us an amazing tour!!
This was a good introduction to Asakusa. Also, we got quite a few recommendations for food places. The area got quite busy at a certain point but our guide made sure to keep us all together.
Nana was a wonderful tour guide and treated us to a fantastic two-hour walking adventure through Tokyo! Our group had about 15 people, and she did a great job keeping everyone together while making the experience fun and informative. She shared interesting information about the temple, Japanese culture, and local food recommendations, along with fun little tidbits we wouldn’t have known otherwise. We really enjoyed our time with Nana and would definitely recommend her tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Tokyo and get ideas for places to return to. PSA: Please tip your guide ❤️
Fantastic tour! Great insight and Miyuki was a brilliant guide. Worth it, for sure.

A wonderful tour with a warm, knowledgeable guide! Showed us things I am sure most would walk right past unless they were on such a tour. Definitely recommend!
Very entertaining and knowledgeable
Certainly worth the time and the money. Aya, our tour guide, did a great job explaining the history of the temple and the area.
Mayako was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. She knew her history and shared it with us in a very informal way. Fascinating to listen to. The group were hanging off her every word. Would highly recommend this lady, she’s a little pocket rocker!
