Akihabara Anime & Game Adventure Walking Tour (Group Or Private)

Akihabara is so big, i’m glad Ai was able to show us around! She was super sweet, fun and cool to be around during our tour!

We had a great time exploring Akihabara! This walking tour was a fun way to experience one of Tokyo’s most unique and exciting neighborhoods. From the anime shops and gaming culture to the bright lights and nonstop energy, there was so much to see and take in. Akihabara is definitely a place you can explore on your own, but having a guided tour makes the experience even better. It gives you a chance to discover interesting spots and learn more about the culture behind everything. Whether you’re a big anime and gaming fan or just curious about this side of Japanese culture, this tour is worth checking out. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Had a great tour of Akihabara with our tour guide AI. She was very informative and took us to really cool spots we would never find on our own. Cool places to buy anime items, electronics, old gaming consoles, etc. We also went to a Maid cafe. That was interesting and fun. AI took lots of pictures of us during the tour so we could have plenty of memories. We played games at a couple of arcades too. It was a fun and interesting tour for my mother, myself and my daughter.

This was a super fun tour for an old anime, comics and retro gaming fan. Ai was a brilliant guide.

Yuki was a very fun guide to explore Akihabara with! Very knowledgeable of the area and catered to my interests for places to show. The maid cafe was especially fun! Will definitely need more than one visit to fully explore!

Ai is a very kind and helpful guide. She was always attentive to what we wanted to see and do, very patient and informative. We really enjoyed the tour with her. She took us to some amazing hidden gems that we would've missed if we were visiting by ourselves.

Naoki was a great guide! He was very welcoming and personable. There was only 3 of us in the group which made it easy for him to answer any questions we had. His breadth of knowledge of the area was extensive and made the experience great. Naoki was took us to many places that matched many of our interests.

Naoki was a great tourguide. We had lots of fun and learned a lot. He also showed us several good spots to buy merchandise and technical goodies. We also liked the maid café visit. Our 9yo son also loved the tour.

We did not know what to expect as the information from the travel agency was sparse but we ended up having a fantastic time with Tadashi in Akihabara. It was exciting for everyone and he spent many hours with us, completely focused on our interests and wishes.

Very friendly guide who really knew a lot about the history of Akibahara, as well as everything about anime, manga and games. He first asked what our interests were and based on that adapted the tour to us. Certainly recommendable!

A nice tour of Akihabara. The guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She showed me a variety of spots and helped me with purchasing things and in explaining the different types of stores. I have no complaints.

The tour was a wonderful experience which showed multiple aspects of Akihabara. We started with viewing anime and game merchandise shops. After, we toured more historical areas featuring old technology equipment. The maid cafe was a great way to relax after wandering around for so long.

Nice, but a weird experience, guide friendly but poor command of english (pronuncation) and was honestly not really fit for this tour.

We really enjoyed our tour with Tadashi. He showed us the best of Akihabara and was patient and happy to help our son buy models. We also really loved the Maidreaming Cafe - where we got some treats and drink. Got to see a show there and took a picture with the maids. Best time highly recommend.

This was indeed a magical trip! Our tour guide Ai was professional, high energy and knowledgeable of the area. We had a fantastic diverse group of anime and video games enthusiasts and my favorite part had to be the arcade tour. I only wish the tour had been an another hour and we could really sink our teeth into the area. Would definitely recommend this experience to someone who has never tried it.

This sure was a tour for otaku! An almost overwhelming sea of anime, figurines, capsule toys and retro games. Our lovely guide Shoon took us around the techno-maze of Akiba including the unique experience of the maid cafe!
