Verify what that the tour includes what you expectations are. We were not expecting to hang out and tour department stores we expected to stop in a restaurant for skewers and drinks and we did not.
4 hours went quickly, Sam and Magic Japan Tours was excellent, very knowledgeable and worldly. Would highly recommend!
Amazing & professional tour experience! Really grateful I chose Japan Magic Tours. Everything was easy, fast and I felt comfortable and taken care of. Saw alot of hidden gems during the tour and did great shopping! The guide helped me navigate my transportation too. Highly recommend!!
Have lots of energy for this long but worth it tour. I don’t really think the red light district is appropriate for some youth.
Jay was an excellent guide. He was stepping in for the usual guide and I could not have asked for a better experience. He was Japanese born and raised, with Jamaican heritage, and spoke excellent English with a great Jamaican accent, which made him especially memorable. As it turned out, I was the only person on the tour, and Jay began by asking what did and did not interest me. I explained that I was not especially interested in shopping, department stores, or the more Westernised side of Tokyo, and that I was more interested in quirky, unusual, historic, and local aspects of the city. Jay immediately adapted the tour to suit my interests. He still showed me the key Shibuya and Shinjuku nightlife areas you would to see,, including Golden Gai and Memory Lane, but also took me through older alleyways, nightlife streets, host club areas, and love hotel districts that were not part of the usual tour / I would never have found on my own. This was very much an evening exploring Tokyo with a knowledgeable local rather than simply following a standard tourist route. Overall, this was one of the highlights of my time in Tokyo. Jay was friendly, flexible, informative, and very easy to talk to. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful tour with CHISATO. She was very friendly and took very good care of us. She took photos of us along the way and shared them with me on WhatsApp. We had an adventure going between Shinjuku and Shibuya. It was a great night!
A great time with Chihiro on the first night in Tokyo. A well-paced tour seeing some great sights and a good way to be taken around the city. Accommodated dietary requirements for the dinner element at a ramen place and asked what we would like to see and eat so she could tailor the tour. She took photos of us along the way and very insightful when answering questions. Very open and warm and a great experience for my first visit to Japan!
The tour was very authentic and perfect way to see the area and cover a lot of ground. We did this our first night in Tokyo and it gives us a good understanding of the area!
Had a great time and Sam was an excellent tour guide. I will definitely recommend him to any friends looking for a tour in Tokyo!
I had an 8.5 hour layover in Tokyo and decided to book this tour. My guide, Jay, kept in touch with me through WhatsApp starting the day before my scheduled tour. We spent alot of time shopping in Shibuya, ate some delicious food, and then took the train to Shinjuku. We explored the neighborhood and then he got me a cab back to the airport. One of the highlights of my Tokyo excursion was visiting Ce La Vi Tokyo. This restaurant/nightclub has an amazing view of the city at night. Thank you Jay!
Our guide was so personable and so knowledgeable. We had a blast walking around with her. She knew the ins and outs of both towns. Would love to have her again if we come back.
We had a wonderful time on this tour with Jenny. She picked us up and dropped us back to our hotel. She was both fun, informative and knowledgeable. She took some great photos which made the experience even more special.we visited all the major spots in both Shibuya and Shinjuku as well as some great bars and hidden alleyways. We loved this tour and would highly recommend our tour guide Jenny. Peter and Julie-Anne
Fantastic evening in Shibuya with Sam. We saw many interesting places away from the usual tourist spots. I learnt much about local history and culture and as I was on the tour solo, Sam accommodated my requests to spend more time at a couple of venues. Sam is highly engaging and is such an interesting person who I consider a friend after a few short hours. Ten out of ten rating, couldn’t be happier with the tour.
My husband and I has a truly enjoyable experience touring Shibuya at might with Sam. Sam met us at the Hachiko Statue close to Shibuya Scramble and our adventure through Shibuya began. Sam was great at showing us hidden spots in Shibuya, including the ancient Izakayas and where to go shopping. We ended the evening having dinner at an amazing Yakatori restaurant. Sam is an amazing guide and we would not hesitate to book another tour with him.
Sam took us on a tour of the famous Shibuya crossing all the way to interesting and provocative Shinjuku.. The variety of small Japanese restaurants in iconic alleyways the Olympic grounds, the love hotels, the Shibuya Crossing, and the fellowship of eating Ramen together was absolutely phenomenal. Sam is impressive, extremely knowledgeable about Japanese culture, and he has attitude that is so fun and engaging. His spirit throughout the night is humorous and super positive. Ypu are sure to have an excellent time. I highly recommend this tour.
Sam was great guide and shows us many hidden and special spots during the tour. He took us to a great Ramen place and even installed a digital Suica in our phones (it was our first day in Tokyo). Highly recommended.
Perfect experience to explore Tokyo heart ) - professional guiding, interesting and emotional communication, highly recommended
Aissam was a great tour guide. He made the walk interesting and ensured I captured the most scenic parts of the cities in my action camera. I will definitely be booking another your with him on my return visit.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Aissam as our tour guide in Tokyo, and he truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Not only did he expertly coordinate our itinerary in Tokyo, but he also helped us plan visits to other destinations seamlessly. Aissam was incredibly polite, insightful, and attentive to every detail. He shared fascinating knowledge about the culture, history, and hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own. Time was never an issue—we never felt rushed, and his relaxed yet professional demeanor made us feel like we were exploring the city with a longtime friend. On top of that, my wife has some dietary restrictions, and Aissam made sure every meal we had was not only accommodating but also a fantastic culinary experience. We wouldn’t have been able to try some of the incredible places we visited without his guidance. By far, Aissam exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for someone who is passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience, Aissam is the guide for you. Highly recommended!
Our tour with Aissam felt like seeing Tokyo with a friend. This was a fun night out with amazing food, great company and an itinerary customised to your interest. Aissam went above and beyond.
Japan Magic Tour is the best tour organizer in town. The tour guide was leading us to visit the scenic spots and explained everything in details. We had a great time. We will highly recommend this tour company, and will definitely to join other tours with them.
Aissam was great! We could have never experienced an informative night in Shibuya/Shinjuku of fun, food and culture without our great guide Aissam! If possible book all your tours with Aissam while in Tokyo and Kyoto. He speaks multiple languages, is knowledge and just a great person. And my booking agent gave him all wrong contact info for me and he still found us in the Shibuya Scramble! Alan
Brilliant tour and Guide. Fun, informative, tailored to our needs, and took us to places we never would have found on our own.
Aissam was an exceptional tour guide, demonstrating a genuine passion for his work. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Japan. He was very considerate and attentive to our group's preferences, taking the time to show us both major attractions and hidden gems that only someone with his expertise could reveal. Overall, it was an incredible experience that shouldn't be missed.
THE BEST TOUR OF MY LIFE!! Thank you Aissam for being such a wonderful tour guide! This was my first time in Shibuya and Shinjuku and I saw more than I possibly would have on my own. I got to see both big attractions and small attractions, hidden pockets and back streets. We also stopped for amazing food and I think I took well over 100 photos. Most importantly I was laughing and smiling the whole time simply because it was a joy to traverse the city with someone so fun! Highly recommend to solo and group travelers. THIS IS THE TOUR YOU CANT MISS!!
This was an excellent overview of the highlights of both areas. It is great to take at the start of your Japan trip. Aissam was an informative and gracious host - you'll be in good hands.
The nighttime Shibuya-Shinjuko tour was amazing! If you’re looking for an expertly curated itinerary with the flexibility and spontaneity to explore, this tour guided by Aissam is perfect for you. Aissam shares the stories and insights that only an insider could, and he is all for going off script and checking out new experiences if you are open to it. We even visited the Meta VR station at Miyashita Park and had robots serve us the new Asahi lemon sour beer on the rooftop of the Parco building (the views of Tokyo are beautiful up there as well)! Dinner at Toritake was well worth lining up for, and Memory Lane was such a sight to see. Can’t imagine what it was like back in post-WWII days to be enjoying food and drinks in the intimate bar setting, but you certainly feel transported back in time just walking down the alleys lined with vintage signage and barrooms. Needless to say, I’d highly recommend Aissam for a one of a kind tour and learning experience. His passion to share information and ensure his clients get the best experience truly shows. We covered a lot of ground in 4 hours, and it felt like visiting a friend excited to show you around their hometown—there was never a dull moment. I walked away with great photos, videos, and memories, and I can’t wait to return with family/friends to explore Japan further!
Aissam El Hani is a fabulous guide. Showed us all the sights we wanted to see. Speaks many languages including perfect English. Very knowledgeable, smart, and great with people. Super trip to give us taste of Tokyo at night.
My tour guide, El Hani, was exceptional. He is knowledgeable, patient, respectful, speaks fluently English. He takes time to explain and to point all the details. My husband and I enjoyed the tour. I will recommend him to my friends and I would like to have him as a guide for different tours . Thanks El Hani
Aissam certainly had a tough job on his hands. We had 6 days to discover Tokyo and visit Mt. Fuji as well as Nikko city and somehow he made it work. Throughout the trip he was really informative and made sure we knew the significance of the places we were visiting. The program he chose was tailor made to the number of days we had. I will definitely try to repeat with him again only this time, I will try to make it a bit longer and during the fall season to truly experience the beauty of the Japanese countryside at that time
Aissam was a charming and accommodating guide. I felt safe travelling with him. He navigated us effortlessly through the train stations and provided fun and personal facts about the areas around Shibuya. Aissam took me to his favorite yakitori restaurant where he has a great rapport with the owners. The atmosphere was lively, food great, and cost effective. I’m happy I was able to take this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone!
Tour around Shibuya city Tokyo with issam was perfect with his knowledge about country he live there more then 10 years I recommend for local guide in Japan he can’t talk more then 5 languages.
The host was great. Failing to contact us, he waited at the meeting point and managed to find us. He gave us a wonderful walk from both neighborhoods, allowing us to immerse ourselves in this fabulous culture. We loved chatting with our guide and learning the secrets of these two neighborhoods.
Extremely satisfied with this 4h visit with Aissam. We were able to visit the emblematic places of these two neighborhoods as well as other beautiful spots of which he has the secret. He listened to me and also adapted his itinerary to my interests. All with explanations, especially on the history of these places. And what a pleasure to have a guide who speaks French! In summary, thank you Aissam and I can only warmly recommend this visit
