Masa made this experience amazing! He knew where everything was located. It would have taken us days to accomplish the Anime shopping that he guided us through in 3 hours.

Itinerary
At Onoden, anime enthusiasts should definitely pay a visit. Initially, it may seem like an ordinary electronics store, but when you make your way to the fourth floor, you'll find yourself in an anime merchandise haven! Here, you can find not only T-shirts from major and minor anime series but also cosplay outfits and materials for crafting your own figurines. We're introducing a place that's bound to captivate anyone who's a fan!
At Mandarake, you'll find a multi-story building housing various shops offering a wide range of goods such as books, manga, comics, anime, toys, hobbies, dolls, CDs, DVDs, cosplay items, doujinshi, games, cards, stickers, collector's items, and more. From treasures dating back a century to the present day, this store has an extensive collection of subculture items from Japan and around the world. So, it's not just for anime enthusiasts; anyone interested in Japanese subculture can explore a wide variety of items all under one roof. You might even discover English versions of manga to add to your collection!
A Maid Cafe is a unique Japanese cafe culture where female staff dressed in cute maid outfits provide hospitality and entertainment to customers. You will find fun time with maids in their outfits, not only serve drinks and light meals but also engage in activities such as bowing, singing, and playing games with the customers. At maid cafe, you will have one drink and one photo with one maid during the tour
Have you ever tried Gachapon before? If not, you've got to try it here. You'll find a wide variety of Gachapon machines. Take your time to decide which one you'd like to try.
In this Game Center, we will use a small booth called the "Print Club" to take photos. In this booth, you can enhance your photos by adding stamps and decorations, making them look even more adorable (kawaii). This activity is one of the Japanese cultural experiences you can enjoy during your stay.

It was a fantastic tour, perfectly tailored to my interests and wishes. My guide, Keiko, was amazing! She went above and beyond to cater to my interests. She showed me great shops and places. She also told me fascinating things about the history of Akihabara. She gave me recommendations for food and tips for the rest of my trip.
We had an amazing time in Akihabara for the Anime / Video game tour. Enjoyed seeing all of the different stores and even made a few purchases along the way! Our tour guide, Yuya, was very informative and helpful with any of or questions or requests. Was a pleasure to spend time with him and we really enjoyed sharing our interests and favorite anime’s with each other. 10 out of 10 tour and I would definitely recommend it!!
We are absolute manga and anime beginners, but our lovely guide Yui explained all the important aspects to us and answered all our questions. YUI tailored the tour to our interests and as a result, we had a fascinating few hours in a part of Tokyo we would not otherwise have visited. Thank you Yui!
The tour was SO much fun! The guide knew all the best spots and helped me find exactly what I wanted. Had the best time in Akihabara!
I had a great time on this tour. The guide was lovely and I had so much fun getting to know the unique culture. Thank you for a great time!
What can I say. Yui was an awesome guide who was very knowledgeable in the Manga art. He was able to answer questions, provid clear history and translation, along with with providing exceptional interests to look at even after the tour ended. The Gundam shop was reminiscent of childhood, the main café was a whole experience in itself, and the Mario kart race was a blast. Overall very please we took the tour.
Our tour guide Sunho Park was amazing. He showed us all around the various anime stores and shared so much information. He even helped me find some very vintage anime figurines for my daughter. Would highly recommend.
Great time, outa was very good and tour was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s new to Japan. The maid cafe & shopping was my favorite
Just okay, was basically a guided shopping experience. The guide did do a good job of hearing what our kids liked and helped us focus time on 2-3 stores with these things, but we basically stayed in a 2-block area. Our guide was super nice and interacted well with the kids, but had no knowledge of anime history, gaming or the evolution of the place. Would not recommend Maid Cafe, expensive food, not included in experience fee and very slow. Lots of upselling within the experience and you are stuck for 2-hours of the tour in this.
Very fun day! Tui and her assistant and our daughter engaged the whole tour about animae! Maid Cafe a highlight, as well as other places we could never have found. Our guides also took photos and videos that they later sent. Lastly, the company handled a minor customer service issue promptly and accepted! Would highly recommend!
They explained Japanese culture, such as anime and games, in an easy-to-understand way. They customized the plan to suit our needs, and we had a great time.
Great Akihabara Anime,Game,Otaku,Tour!! Especially,my favorite is traditional Japanese game arcade. Street fighter 2 was my admirable. In Akihabara a lot of funny goods ,We can't explore all shop.
Shingo was great! Our group had lots of diverse interest and Shingo handled it well. He took us to places that had by far the best prices that we would have never found on our own. My 13 year old son was very happy! I'm sure the highlight of his Tokyo trip.
I found that a small group tour is a great way to get your bearings and learn a bit about each city during my stay in Japan. Thank you Shingo Travel for providing this Akihabara subculture tour. I had an entertaining afternoon with bilingual tour guide Shingo. We had great conversation about the sites he took me to see. I was able to relive my video console gaming youth, play some classic arcade machines, and locate unique anime and manga collectibles. Whenever I had a question about what I was seeing or looking for, Shingo provided immediate assistance. The highlight that ended the tour was the innocent and highly entertaining stop at a maid cafe. Shingo chose a cafe that provided a full stage performance. Something I always wanted to experience. Thanks again Shingo for an educational and fun tour. When I return to Japan, I will definitely try one of Shingo Travel's other tour offerings. Highly recommended!
