This was my second stay at TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET, and after such an amazing experience the first time, I knew I had to come back. Both times I stayed in the Dining Suite, and somehow this visit managed to exceed my already very high expectations. The highlight of our stay was a private dinner we arranged through the hotel for a group of very close friends. After spending two weeks traveling around Japan, I can confidently say this was the most memorable experience of the entire trip. The dinner was phenomenal from beginning to end. The food was incredible, with unique and thoughtful selections, beautiful presentation, and excellent sake pairings throughout the evening. The quality, creativity, attention to detail, and level of service genuinely made it feel like a Michelin-starred dining experience - except we were able to enjoy it privately with our closest friends in the Dining Suite, which made it even more special. What really sets TRUNK apart, though, is the people. A huge thank you to the chefs who spent months preparing and planning this dinner and then executed it so beautifully. You could tell an incredible amount of thought and effort went into creating the experience for us. I also want to personally thank Ryunosuke, Rina, and especially Nana for everything they did to make the evening possible. Nana worked with me ahead of the dinner to coordinate all of the details and then did a phenomenal job emceeing and translating throughout the evening. Having her there made the entire experience seamless and allowed everyone to fully enjoy the night together. There are plenty of beautiful hotels in Tokyo, but what keeps bringing me back to TRUNK is the combination of the atmosphere, hospitality, attention to detail, and the people who work here. They took what was already a special gathering of friends and turned it into a memory I’ll probably carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you to the entire TRUNK team for another incredible stay. After two visits, this has firmly become one of my favorite hotels in Japan. I’m already looking forward to coming back for a third.

An Absolutely Unforgettable Stay in Tokyo! We just wrapped up our stay from July 27 to 29, and I felt compelled to leave a review recognising the amazing team behind this experience. Our interactions with the front desk and hotel shop staff were brief, and we didn't catch their names, but I really wanted to give them the shout-out they deserve. This was the most satisfying hotel stay we've ever had in Tokyo, and I've visited the city more than ten times. The staff, both local and international, were impressively fluent in multiple languages. Beyond that, their warmth and personality made every interaction feel genuinely welcoming. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The room itself was nothing short of impeccable: spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details, and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I also have to mention the wonderful surprise of being upgraded to the second-largest suite in the entire hotel. Huge thanks to the team for that gesture. My fiancée was absolutely over the moon, and it made the stay all the more memorable. I hope the staff on duty during those two days somehow see this and know how much we appreciated everything. We'll definitely be back. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!
Staying at TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET completely exceeds expectations. The location is perfect , close to Shibuya, Harajuku, Omotesando, and Cat Street while still feeling calm and tucked away from the chaos of the city. What truly stands out is the staff. The front desk team is incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful in every interaction. Whether helping with reservations, directions, or recommendations, the service feels thoughtful and personal rather than transactional. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is seriously impressive, especially the housekeeping. The rooms are maintained flawlessly every day and always feel spotless, refreshed, and carefully arranged when we return. The hotel itself is beautifully designed; modern, stylish, warm, and uniquely Tokyo without ever feeling pretentious. It’s rare to find a hotel this design-forward that also delivers such genuinely exceptional hospitality. Easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.
The rooms are very well organized and comfortable with a comfortable bed.. The shower is great. The toilet is unlike any we see in the US. So many functions! The hotel provides comfortable pajamas. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Turndown service is excellent. The pool is clean and good for swimming laps. The bar and restaurant in the pool area provide a great view over Yoyogi Park.
TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET is a stylish and memorable place to visit in Jingumae, even without staying overnight. I stopped by the local store and bar to look around and enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere was very hip, modern, and relaxed, with a creative energy that made the space feel special. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more pleasant. I also noticed many people working in the lounge, and the whole place had a comfortable yet inspiring vibe. The skewer restaurant near the hotel entrance looked really delicious, so I would like to try it next time. Overall, it is the kind of space that naturally puts you in a good mood, and next time I would love to stay at the hotel as well.
