10/18/2026 — The Executive Lounge is truly impressive, and the hors d’oeuvres during happy hour are far better than those at any M Club, Sheraton Lounge, or Renaissance Club Lounge I’ve experienced in the United States! I couldn’t believe that all the liquor, wine, and high-end sake were complimentary at the lounge! 🍷🍶 I also enjoyed relaxing with drinks and food while admiring the beautiful garden and its elegant evening lighting. The staff were extremely friendly, and the lobby was equally impressive! I also enjoyed the sauna and whirlpool bath on the Relaxation Floor. The whirlpool bath was clean and provided a relaxing experience similar to that of a traditional Japanese onsen—the only difference is that the spa water is not natural spring water. I also enjoyed the RELAX LOUNGE, which offers complimentary machine massages—a perfect way to unwind and relax! Last but not least, thank Marriott for providing each Elite member the benefit for accessing the Executive Lounge free of charge!

The Prince Sakura Twer is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff is absolutely lovely and extremely attentive. They provide detail and preemptive information without ever being overbearing or condescending. The lobby is gorgeous and smells fantastic. The check in process was smooth. The elevator was quick and is all glass so you can look out over the garden. The room was spacious and stocked with amenities, such as a whirlpool bath, minibar, and multiple robes for the room and relaxation lounge. The gym is very clean. The dumbbells only go up to 24 kilos but the machines are new and quality. Overall, I have not a single complaint for this terrific establishment.
Staying at The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Autograph Collection felt calm and polished from the start. I liked how the hotel blends a modern look with a distinctly Japanese atmosphere, which gave the whole place a more memorable feel than a standard luxury stay. It has that refined boutique feel without being cold, and for me it stood out as a very pleasant base in Tokyo.
I stayed here as a Titanium member in February 2026. As someone who mostly stays at Marriott group hotels, I really appreciate that this Prince Hotel is part of the Autograph Collection, because Prince is considered one of the best hotel chains in Japan and this is a rare chance to stay at one through Marriott Bonvoy. - The biggest draw for me is the exclusive access to three hotel lounges. There are three Prince hotels in this area (Sakura Tower, Grand Prince Takanawa, and Grand Prince New Takanawa), and they are all connected through a huge Japanese garden. Each lounge has its own character and different food offerings, and one of them has a traditional Japanese theme. Being able to hop between the three lounges feels special and is something you won't find at other Marriott properties. - The Japanese garden connecting the three hotels is about 20,000 square meters and is really beautiful, especially at night with the lighting. Having this kind of space in the middle of Tokyo is remarkable. - The location in Shinagawa is convenient, especially if you're coming from or going to Haneda Airport. It's one of my preferred Marriott hotels in Tokyo for this reason. - The room is a comfortable size at about 46sqm. Clean and everything you need. The shower system feels a bit outdated compared to newer hotels, but it works fine. - Breakfast is served at the Sakura Tower lounge. It's not a wow dish, but it's decent and nice for a quick bite before heading out. The variety is limited but the quality is good. - The welcome gift selection for higher-tier Marriott members is a nice touch. I chose a sparkling wine and an assortment of chocolates, and those chocolates were surprisingly high quality and clearly expensive. - Staff are friendly and helpful. If you're a Marriott member looking for a place in Tokyo, this is one I keep coming back to. The lounge hopping experience and the Japanese garden make it unique. It's also relatively affordable during off-season (when there are no cherry blossoms), which is a bonus.
This hotel is very close to the train station. It overall feels pretty new. Rooms are nicely renovated, well equipped. They provide complimentary water but all other beverage are subject to be charged at checkout if you consume it. That honestly is a a little disappointing considering the price I'm paying. Like how much would it cost the hotel to refill a few cans of coke or beer? Not much. Also, as a Marriot Gold elite member, I was not offered a room upgrade. I understand that the hotel upgrades run out often. But at least mention it to me so I know I am being treated fairly as a loyal customer instead of brushing off. The front desk did not bother to introduce any dinning options inside and outside of the hotel. Bottom line is the facility is great , location is great, check-in process is not the best.
