Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, if not the absolute best. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the views from everywhere on the property were stunning. The hotel features a great centralized location, making it incredibly easy to access multiple train lines and get anywhere in Tokyo quickly. Service was top-notch across the board, especially the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff who made our stay feel truly luxurious. Another highlight was the breakfast included with Platinum status, which featured a fantastic spread of both Japanese and Western options. Truly a five-star experience all around. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return if in Tokyo again!
The location is great. Maybe 5 minute walk form a Main Street with a bunch of food places. Don’t walk too far down cause I swear I saw some happy ending massage places. There’s also a convenience store on that street too if you need anything. I also found a convenience store IN the hotel which is pretty cool. The staff were always respectful and helpful if you needed anything. Breakfast service was also great. And ofc the views are great from the bar if you do go down there to get something or just to look. Also great mirror lighting.
Overall experience was absolutely great. The hotel had great ambiance and was in a great location. We ate and had drinks at the bar, which was also great. Everyone was friendly and courteous and met our needs. We appreciated a room upgrade since it was our honeymoon. Lounge access was lovely. The breakfast food was average, though its variety was great. We will stay again when we visit.
Our stay at The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho was genuinely stunning and the perfect way to end our trip to Japan. One of the things we appreciated most was the location. It’s in a much quieter part of Tokyo compared to some of the busier areas, which was a welcome break after days of exploring. The hotel almost feels tucked into a business district, so outside of office hours the area becomes very calm with far less footfall around the hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt immaculate. Check in was smooth and professional, and the staff truly went above and beyond, especially with our 9 month old baby, who was showered with attention, smiles, and even teddy bears throughout our stay. It really made us feel welcomed as a family. The hotel itself is breathtaking. Being high above the city gives the entire property an elevated luxury feel, and the reception area in particular offers incredible views, especially at night when Tokyo lights up around you. Our room was luxurious, spacious, and beautifully designed. By Tokyo standards, the room felt huge. The floor to ceiling windows created some amazing views across the city, and having a place to sit and simply watch Tokyo go by was one of our favourite parts of the stay. Even the bathroom was incredibly spacious, with a shower so large it could probably fit 6 or 7 people comfortably. Breakfast was excellent with a great mix of Japanese, American, and hot breakfast options available every morning. There was plenty of variety and the quality throughout was fantastic. The onsen was another highlight. A small note for first time visitors: it is a traditional natural onsen, so swimwear or clothing is not permitted, and the facilities are separated for male and female guests. In the men’s onsen, the views were absolutely stunning. Honestly, I could have stayed there all day. The only slight disappointment, and something we noticed across multiple Marriott properties in Japan, was the lack of room upgrades despite being Platinum Elite members. We were aware there was plenty of availability, but staff still declined any upgrade requests. That said, they did kindly extend our late checkout until 6pm instead of the standard 4pm, which was incredibly useful given our late night flight home. Overall, this hotel was the perfect final stop to our Japan trip. Luxurious, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing before a long journey home. We would absolutely stay again.
