My 7-day stay at The Okura Tokyo was an absolute dream, and I couldn't have been more satisfied. The breakfast buffet was wonderful—always warm, delicious, and featuring an amazing variety of thoughtfully curated options. The room condition was pristine; it was spotlessly cleaned every single day, making it such a comforting space to return to and get a great night's sleep. I also thoroughly enjoyed the top-notch amenities, including the pool, sauna, and gym, which were all excellently maintained. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. You can deeply feel their dedication, providing flawless, attentive service behind the scenes. It is truly an exceptional hotel.

This place is out of the world, really. Best of the best in Tokyo. Sensational breakfast, a bar and restaurant on floor 41 that will blow anyone’s mind. Spacious rooms with breathtaking views of the city skyline. Absolute cleanliness that is next level. And the most professional and polite staff, who even exceed the highest Japanese standard of being super nice to everyone. If there’s only one hotel where someone gets to spend big (like REALLY big), this should be. Amazing.
I stayed here for my honeymoon with my new husband. I was disappointed. My primary concern was the lower level of respect I recieved as a woman. I booked the reservation under my name, which was acknowledged at every turn. Yet they spoke only to my husband; it was not a case of mistaken identity because I used the “Mrs” identifier. I also felt less respect as a foreigner. We received worse service than non-foreigners, this was particularly evident in the club lounge. For example, every other table was offered refills or assistance with beverages, we were not. And in the breakfast buffet, no one checked on us and we had to flag for more coffee. The room itself was nice. There were some water stains on the wall and the provided shampoo and conditioner were not good. The view was excellent, we received thorough turn-down service, and the room was quiet. The food was mostly good. We spent alot of time at the club, which was good quality for being free. The Japanese breakfast was not good. The fish was extremely salty, and the miso soup was more water than soup. Because of the steep price, I am being critical, but I do not recommend this hotel to any woman or foreign guest.
Loved this hotel. The rooms were very large and well designed. The staff and service were exceptional. The pool was huge and all the facilities were spotless and meticulously looked after. We also loved the area, it was nice to have a bit of quiet around the hotel and it was super easy to get on the metro and explore Tokyo from here. Lots of restaurants in this area if you don’t want to travel.
The room is so spacious and luxurious, and room service is so kind and helpful! You can open the blinds from a little tablet by the nightstands and the view of the city from one of the higher floors is so stunning! They give you complimentary chocolates, and nice essential items too. The shower isn’t hard to figure out, unlike some other hotels I’ve been to, and the buffet has a variety of different foods to choose from. I think this is such a nice hotel and is a great place to stay.
