I stayed at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right next to the metro station, making it easy to get around the city quickly. The hotel staff were outstanding. I’d especially like to mention Brandon in the Executive Lounge, whose English communication skills were excellent. My room was a comfortable size, the breakfast offered a great variety, and the Executive Lounge was very enjoyable—especially the delicious sweets at Afternoon Tea!

The overall environment is good, easily accessible to train and metro, rooms have ample space. However the lounge is terrible, just a small room with very few food and drink options, one of the worst I’ve been. Some wears/stains can be seen on the walls and floors inside the room, the basin was blocked, pillow smelled moldy one night. Breakfast has good variety but only a couple of items are on rotation. The foreign staff are very professional and friendly. A Japanese male reception staff on 26th June ~9pm was rude and uninterested.
Our stay at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the outstanding staff. Every single person we met was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect. The level of hospitality was beyond anything we have experienced before. The location is also absolutely fantastic for exploring Tokyo. With the subway and train connections just minutes away, it was incredibly easy to get around the city and visit all the major areas and attractions. At the same time, the hotel is located in a business district, which creates the perfect balance — lively and vibrant during the day, yet peaceful and quiet at night, allowing for a very relaxing stay. Another huge advantage is the area surrounding the hotel, with plenty of supermarkets, cafés, and excellent restaurants just steps away. We can wholeheartedly recommend Pullman Tokyo Tamachi to anyone visiting Japan. If you are looking for a luxurious, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Tokyo, this hotel is simply perfect. Thank you again to the entire team for such an incredible experience. We already look forward to coming back. Kind regards Henriette & Toke Svensson
The size of the room was great for Tokyo. Love that there were two spacious closets as well. The train view was nice and can’t beat the location if you plan on using the subway. We mostly used uber because we usually needed transportation during rush hours and I didn’t want to contribute to the congestion. We only used it during non-peak hours so as not to get in the way of people going to work. The rooms and hallways could use a refresh. The bathroom walls by the sink are lined by wallpaper that has a lot of stains and the rug under the bedroom should be replaced. I can see why a bunch of people said it’s not a 5 star hotel but for me where they stand out is service. Everyone was very nice and concierge helped me with a tricky reservation. The worst part is probably the breakfast and executive lounge we paid extra for. I think there needs to be more staff monitoring the buffet and making sure that all guests are using proper hygiene. There was a large group of Indians during our stay that had young boys maybe 12 years or so and they were grabbing food with their hands and getting their fingers in the sauce station and wiping it on the serving table! Really disgusting but nobody was monitoring that. They should have someone monitoring and kick out those with poor hygiene. I was with my 10 year old girl so it’s really not a kid thing just poor behavior. As for the lounge, we spent a total of maybe 15 minutes for our entire 10 day stay. The hours are so inconvenient for travelers. They open late and close early so we’re never able to catch it. Hope they can consider closing a bit later like 9pm at most other executive lounges. Otherwise it’s really not worth the cost. Overall, I thought the stay was decent. I’d probably stay here again because of the room size and sound proofing but they should really make some improvements.
I recently stayed at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi, and overall it was a pleasant and smooth experience with a few memorable highlights. Before my stay, I had reached out via email to ask whether I could send my luggage from my previous hotel. The team confirmed it was possible, which was extremely helpful. When I arrived for check-in, my suitcase was already placed inside my room—such a seamless and thoughtful touch that made the transition effortless. The location is another strong point. The hotel is directly connected to a building with various restaurants and a market, and it’s also very close to the train station, making it convenient to get around Tokyo. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained. One small thing I found a bit unusual was that the toilet seat wasn’t heated—something I’ve come to expect even in many 3-star hotels in Japan. That said, it wasn’t a big issue at all, especially since the weather wasn’t too cold during my stay. One of the most memorable parts of my stay happened during check-in. I was assisted by a front desk staff member named Reza, who turned out to be Indonesian and had just been assigned to the property a few weeks prior. Having already spent 10 days in Japan, meeting someone from home felt incredibly comforting. He was very friendly, helpful, and even offered late checkout, which I didn’t need as I had an early departure—but the gesture was much appreciated. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection to start the day. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to try the lounge during this stay. Overall, a solid stay with great service, strategic location, and a personal touch that made it even more memorable.
