Monday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi

I love this hotel so much, it's so convenient. It's close to the train station, many shopping area and restaurants. A supermarket is nearby also. They said all of their rooms has a mini kitchen and in unit washer/dryer. It is a must for the summer. When I came, i think their hotel is full so I was only able to book the Japanese room. It's so big, it can fit up to 6 people. Clean and with having to put code before going to elevator area, makes me feel safe. The gentlemen that helped me, tried his best to communicate with me in English. I will be back and I'm already a Monday member as well!!

I booked MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi because I wanted a more roomy apartment for my family of 3 and these apartments were perfect. MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi is located a few minutes walk from Okachimachi station on the Yamanote Line and 6 or mins or more from Suehirochō station on the Ginza line. Akihabara is 8 mins walk. The area is very safe and we had no issue walking around at night and during the day. There is a Lawsons a minute or so nearby and also a Family Mart near the Okachimachi station, which is so handy for snacks, food and groceries. Ueno is also not far away. There are a few restaurants nearby, including Egg Baby Cafe which was really good. The rooms got cleaned 3 days out of our 10 days stay which worked well for us, they also had the option of leaving dirty towels and garbage bags outside your door to be collected on non cleaning days. Access to the rooms and lift area is accessible via a numerical code. The room had a sensor light which automatically turned on when you got up to the bathroom at night, this was probably the only annoying part of our stay. I suggest wearing an eye mask to avoid being woken up by the lights at night. The staff spoke English and were very hospitable, friendly and kind. Our room had two comfortable single beds, a bunk bed, a washing machine, and a decent-sized bathroom with a separate toilet. The hotel provides most amenities including toothbrush, razor, comb, towels, paper towel for the bench area, bath shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is also a microwave, iron, vacuum cleaner, TV, and oven in the room. The room does have some noise from the trains nearby, but it is not too loud that it is distracting. Other than the train noise, I cannot hear my neighbours. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

The hotel location is perfect. It takes only about 10 minutes walk to Ueno or to Akihabara. Along the way to Ueno, there is a wide range of options for food. The nearest Okachimachi Station is on the JR Yamanote Line which paves easy access to different tourist points such as Tsukiji Outer Market, Ginza, Ikebukuro etc. The hotel staffs are nice and helpful. The room is spacious enough for a family of four like us. It's also well facilitated with W/D machine, fridge & freezer, cooking utensils etc. which makes you feeling like home. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit it again for my next Tokyo trip.
