Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Tsukiji

Perfection- ownership thought of everything when designing the rooms. They are compact, mini well appointed apartments w/washing machines and ironing board in hallway. The staff are polite and very helpful- inclusive breakfast buffet/ menu offerings and coffee! are delicious and artfully presented. This hotel location is perfect for travelers who prefer a more quiet neighborhood close to top sites and transport options. Thank you Mitsui for this tranquil Japanese experience.

We loved our stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Tsukiji. The location was great and accessible to major stations, and we appreciated that there were many places to eat and shop within walking distance. We booked the Superior room with two beds and found this spacious. It was extremely convenient to have a washer/dryer unit in our room! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were also very helpful in arranging luggage forwarding services to our hotel in Kyoto. We would defintely stay at this hotel again the next time we visit Tokyo.

This is a 4 star hotel. It's nice. It's basic. It's simple. Does nothing special... No one does anything more than what is prescribed... They do not know or understand hospitality... its all about rules regulations extra money to charge etc etc... The towels are good... the linen. Ie pillows and bed sheets are low TC like a 3 star... no body lotion... limited amenities...this runs on a super tight budget... I like the location.. its ok ok at 220 usd a night....check in is tight at 3... check out is tight at 11...room clean is not daily. So... things are not ok.. for me... for it to be a 4 star... All said.. my stay was ok.. so I give it 4 stars.. Recommended. Bhagwan Tokyo Japan.

I’m glad we booked this location. The walk to the fish market each morning was a blessing. You are a 5 minute walk away! You’ll get spoiled with food options. If you’re a food lover, I’d recommend booking this stay as your last portion of your trip. It can ruin the experience for other stays while you’re in Japan :) The Tsukiji train station is also very close by but with two small kids and the heat, we opted to use the cab a lot more. There’s also a Buddhist temple that you can walk to and escape from the heat. For a family of four (two adults and two small kids) the double twin worked out. However if your kids are older, plan on a bigger room or multiple rooms. There was very little to none closet space in our twin room. We hung up what was needed and kept things in the luggage when not used. The washer/dryer combo machine was a great addition as well. Just take caution on the duration it’ll take to finish. The hotel gives two small packets of detergent but we brought our own as well. Take advantage of the second floor! Free water and ice. It’s one less thing to worry about in your day to day when you can just fill up on filtered water (or coffee). The second floor is also a great place to bring the kids to hangout at since it is only used for amenities and office space. The luggage shipping offered from the hotel was very convenient for us as well. Two less bulky items to worry about when going from city to city by train.
