The room is comfortable, size and utilities ok, check in check out is easy. Location need 10-15min walk to train station but still consider convenient. Except 1 fact that I hope cleanliness can be improved. Stay for 9days but theres only 1 room cleaning service on the 3rd day. I expected at least 2 service. And the floor was not even vacuum or cleaned during the only service.

This is a great apartment hotel and perfect for families. Our stay was great! Beds are hard though and pillows flimsy. Need more pillows and blankets in the rooms. Very good value for money though and the size of the apartment was excellent!
We had a wonderful stay at Minn Asakusa Kappabashi. The room was surprisingly spacious, especially by Tokyo standards, making it perfect for families. Everything was spotless and well maintained, and having a kitchenette and washing machine made our stay even more comfortable. The location is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Senso-ji Temple, Kappabashi Kitchen Street, convenience stores, and plenty of restaurants. The self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. If you’re looking for a clean, spacious, family-friendly hotel at a great value in Tokyo, I highly recommend Minn Asakusa Kappabashi. I would definitely stay here again.
We recently stayed at Minn Kappabashi Asakusa, and overall our experience was pleasant. The location is excellent—quiet yet very convenient, with easy access to Asakusa, Kappabashi Street, and nearby transportation. The hotel concept is modern and family-friendly, and we appreciated the spacious layout compared to typical Tokyo hotels. We did encounter some issues with our first room during the stay. To their credit, the hotel staff genuinely tried their best to fix the problems and accommodate us. Their attitude was polite, responsive, and professional throughout, which we really appreciated. Because of the ongoing issues, we were upgraded to a larger room, which was a thoughtful gesture and helped improve our overall comfort. That said, the cleanliness of the second room was only so-so and did not fully meet our expectations. While it wasn’t severe enough to ruin the stay, it was noticeable. At that point, we chose not to raise further complaints and simply lived with it, as the staff had already made efforts to help and we didn’t want to escalate matters unnecessarily ( I kind of feel bad posting it on here without given the hotel a chance to fix the cleanliness issue, but it is what it is). In summary, Minn Kappabashi Asakusa offers good value, a great location, and staff who clearly try to do the right thing when issues arise. With more consistent attention to cleanliness, the experience could easily be excellent. We would still consider staying again, especially for families or longer stays, but hope to see some improvements in room upkeep.
Solid Value for Families and Groups – Great Stay at Minn Kappabash. We recently stayed at Minn Kappabashi during our trip to Tokyo, and it proved to be a fantastic choice for our group of four. If you are looking for a practical, self-sufficient base to explore the city, this hotel offers excellent value. The Room & Layout We stayed in a Studio Room, which accommodated the four of us comfortably. Design: The layout is incredibly practical and functional, maximizing the space well without feeling overly cramped. Ambience: The room gets great natural light, making it feel bright and welcoming. Cleanliness: Spotless upon arrival—cleanliness was definitely a highlight of the stay. Amenities & Kitchen Kitchen: The room features a great, functional kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare simple meals or manage breakfast before heading out. In-Room Laundry: There is an in-unit washer/dryer combo. It works perfectly for washing, but be aware that the drying cycle is very slow. If you plan to do laundry, it is best to start it well in advance or split your loads into smaller batches. Location: The location is good. It is tucked into a slightly quieter area but remains close to major metro stations, making transit across Tokyo straightforward. It is also within easy walking distance to the main Asakusa attractions (like Senso-ji) and right by Kappabashi Kitchen Town, which is a fun area to explore. Bottom Line: A highly functional, clean, and well-located property. It offers a solid value, whether you are traveling as a family, a small group, or even as a solo traveler looking for a bit more space and an independent setup. We would definitely stay here again.
