This was our second extended stay at MIMARU SUITES Tokyo Nihombashi, and once again, it truly felt like our home in Tokyo. I was traveling with my 7-year-old son, and on both of our visits, we stayed for more than ten days. For a longer stay with a child, having a spacious suite, a separate living area, and all the conveniences of an apartment-style hotel makes an enormous difference. It gives us enough space to settle into a comfortable daily routine rather than feeling like we are simply staying in a hotel. The living area has also become an important part of my son’s Japanese learning. During our stays, we are able to have his Japanese lessons right in the hotel room, with enough space for him and his Japanese tutor to sit together and study comfortably. Being able to continue his Japanese learning even while traveling is something we really appreciate, and it makes MIMARU feel even more like a real home for us in Tokyo. The location is another reason we enjoy staying here so much. Nihombashi and Ningyocho have a wonderful atmosphere — quieter and more relaxed than some of Tokyo’s busier areas, yet still extremely convenient for getting to Ginza, Tokyo Station, and many other parts of the city. This time, the location also gave our trip an especially meaningful connection to Japanese tradition. I had the opportunity to take my son to participate in a Shichi-Go-San prayer for his healthy growth, which became one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Japan. Being able to experience something so meaningful as part of our everyday life here made this visit particularly special. What we appreciate most, however, is the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Everyone is friendly, patient, and always willing to help whenever we have a question or need assistance. During a stay of more than ten days, these small interactions really matter. They create a genuine sense of familiarity and warmth. My son has become very comfortable here. By the end of each stay, MIMARU no longer feels like a hotel to him — it feels like our little home in Tokyo. As a father traveling alone with my son, that sense of comfort, safety, and ease means a great deal to me. Thank you to everyone at MIMARU SUITES Tokyo Nihombashi for taking such good care of us and for becoming part of the memories my son and I are creating together in Japan. This was already our second long stay here, and I have a feeling it will not be our last. We look forward to coming home again on our next trip to Tokyo.

We had the pleasure of staying at Mimarus twice during our epic 3-week tour of Japan. We also stayed at the Mimaru Shinsaibashi West next to Yotsobashi subway station in Osaka. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was consistent across both apartment hotels. One of the frustrations of eating out in Japan when you’re a family of 5, is just how impossible it can be to have a sit down meal without a prior reservation. The reception staff did not hesitate to make recommendations and bookings for us. The kitchenette’s were well equipped, though we didn’t use them to their fullest due to all the convenience brekkies we had from family marts. The rooms were beautifully set out with minimalist Japanese decor and had good housekeeping. Both sites had excellent and cheap, on site coin operated laundry facilities which were absolutely essential with 3 boys in the summer heat. The locations of both sites (Nihombashi in Tokyo and shinsaibashi west in Osaka) were central, but in relatively quieter parts of the city wards and therefore, felt like a haven from the busy cities. The reception lobby in Nihombashi had a lovely coffee shop and Sake tasting in the evenings. You could even choose some art work in the lobby to display on your room walls, to make it feel homely. Final shout out to Amu in reception in Nihombashi. She really went the extra mile to help us out. I couldn’t recommend Mimaru enough!
This hotel was a perfect retreat for our family after long busy days in Tokyo. The sleeping accommodations gave everyone personal space and the room was clean and well furnished. The cafe downstairs was very convenient with good coffee and a friendly barista. We also liked the quieter neighborhood that had great local food options and was well connected to all of the popular tourist spots and neighborhoods by metro. Perfect overall choice for families with young kids all the way to young adults. Mine are teens and enjoyed the stay.
We had a great experience staying at MS with our family. The environment is peaceful yet conveniently located—very close to the subway station. The space may be compact, but it has everything you need, and the design concept is excellent. The best part is having two toilets, which is not easy to find in Japan. It allowed the whole family to stay together while still having our own private space. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to the young lady who patiently taught us how to weave small woven string pendant.
My sister chose this hotel and this was a perfect location. It’s very quiet and only a 4 minute walk to the Ningyocho station where you can take a train directly to Haneda airport. The lobby is huge and is a nice place to relax. The bunk beds are very comfortable. the furniture lined up perfectly measured in the space. The laundry in room was a HUGE bonus and made our stay so much easier!! The cleaning staff is exceptionally meticulous and tidy. The bed was made so nicely. Just one minor quip is the shower water temperature could be hotter but perhaps it was set that way for child safety.
