Most reviews are about the restaurants and not the hotel. Read below if you’re thinking about booking this hotel for a stay. The staff were polite, the check-in was slow and frustrating. Two ladies assisted me, and I assumed one was training the other, but they kept confusing each other and mixing up benefits between my two reservations (such as a credit that wasn't mentioned until I asked, and lounge access/hotel info was handed over with no explanation as a first time guest.) My forwarded luggage wasn't automatically delivered to my room like it is at other true five-star hotels. And despite being told my platinum status was valued, it didn’t feel like it. As I was asked to check out early and check in late for the subsequent reservation. An extension was only granted after I significantly pushed back. I went back to the lobby, and Tan Gabriel was excellent and clarified everything. But overall, the service falls well short of other five-star hotels in the area and needs better training on benefits, handling multiple reservations, luggage delivery, and loyalty procedures. In summary, two words if you’re visiting: failed omotenashi. Needless to say with so many great options around the area, I won’t be returning.

We stayed at this hotel for several nights during our honeymoon trip and everything was exceptional. This is truly a luxurious 5-star experience. The staff goes above and beyond and no request is an inconvenience for them. We stayed in the Misu suite which was good for two people who wanted a lot of room. The location is perfectly in between a mix of everything. We especially enjoyed the intercontinental club. We got breakfast there every morning and the food and the service was exceptional. The provide plenty of water and chocolate after each housekeeping, which was a nice touch. One note is that laundry is a bit expensive, it was about $150 for our 4 days worth of clothes. I’m sure there’s other options in the area but that was the only notable item.
This was our very first time staying at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo and we were amazed for the two nights we stayed. The hospitality here was top notch from start to finish, especially Saito, the front office manager, who was super attentive and made us feel so taken care of. The service level was unreal - I actually forgot some of my clothes in the room after checking out, and the team was so helpful and managed to get them right back to me without any hassle. The location is super central and very close to the Ginza line. Something that surprised us the most was the water pressure in the shower! This was much needed after a full day out exploring Tokyo. Overall the hotel was beautiful, from the lobby to the rooms. I very much enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and central place in Tokyo.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo. It’s a very large hotel, located close to Azabudai Hills and Roppongi. The location may not be the most convenient if your main goal is sightseeing around Tokyo, but the hotel itself offers plenty of facilities. There are several restaurants, as well as a very good bakery where hotel guests can enjoy a 25% discount, which was a nice bonus. Our room was beautiful, with an amazing view of Tokyo Tower. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent, and overall the room felt spacious and very pleasant. The gym is bright and perfectly fine for a workout, but the strength-training equipment feels quite dated and could definitely be upgraded and expanded. The pool, on the other hand, was great and free for hotel guests. One small but memorable downside: the hairdryer in the room was really outdated and not very effective. Please replace it! 😅 The service at the front desk was excellent and very accommodating throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very good experience and would happily stay here again!
We had the pleasure of staying here in April for our honeymoon, and it was a great experience. The room was comfy with a great view and the breakfast was delicious. The service and hospitality in the club lounge were truly exceptional—especially from Raphael. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some amazing recommendations for Japan. It was clear that we weren't the only ones who thought so, as he was highly attentive and seemed to have a wonderful connection with all the guests. We decided to book our stay for both the beginning and the end of our honeymoon, and we couldn't have made a better choice! We hope this feedback gets to Raphael - Thanks for making our stay extra special! From Ruben and Louise your new Roman friends.
