A superb location and beautifully themed. Splurged on the themed rooms on the 30th floor, which had some additional Godzilla touches. Rooms a little small, but with great views of the city and expansive enough once you push the beds apart. All three Konbinis are nearby for quick and easy breakfasts, and Shinjuku station is just ten minutes away.

This hotel and location is very much dependent on what you like and what stay you're looking for. From sunset onwards all around this hotel it's extremely crowded. Shops, restaurants, bars and throngs of people. You do get a great experience of Shinjuku night-life. If you're a family with young children or a romantic couple, maybe not. Daytime is quite calm (weekday experience) and easy walking and shopping. Lots of great shops within 5-10 minute walk. Hotel is great, rooms tight but comfortable. Bathtub bonus if you like. Staff are very friendly and helpful but don't expect a 'normal' hotel experience here. The feel is kind of touristy and feels geared to more of a quick service style.
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Tokyo. The location is unbeatable—right in the middle of Kabukicho and close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The rooms are clean, modern, and well designed, though a bit on the smaller side. One of the highlights is the famous Godzilla head on the rooftop, which adds a unique and fun touch to the hotel. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Despite being in a lively area, the rooms are quiet and perfect for resting. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and a memorable Tokyo experience. Highly recommended!
The room was small and dirty, but the location and facilities make up a lot for it. Despite its size, the room has a bathtub, perfect after a long day of walking. The laundry room is incredible: 6 washers, 6 dryers, and 2 washer-dryer combos. In summer, when you need to wash clothes often, this is a mlifesaver. You’re right in the heart of Kabukicho, minutes from Shinjuku Station. Seeing the Toyoko kids was memorable too. If you want Tokyo’s crazy cyberpunk vibe, this is the place. At under $200 a night, it’s a good deal for a few nights. Just don’t bring your family.
Staying here right now for my first time in Japan. I would 1000% come back again. The whole place is so clean and professional. The Godzilla theming is fun and decently maintained. Its location is perfect, really close to lots of stores, restaurants, and Shinjuku Station. The cleaning service is well done, and the whole place is very well maintained. Phenomenal hotel!
