I am usually far too lazy to write reviews (apologies to Google!), but this particular stay leaves me with absolutely no choice. If I could award this hotel 6 out of 5 stars, I would do so in a heartbeat. The property itself is brilliant. Perfectly located, the rooms are stunning and equipped with everything you could possibly need. With just under 60 rooms, it has a wonderfully intimate, boutique feel and is incredibly tranquil, there is zero noise pollution. Yet, as flawless as the facilities are, they are simply a bonus. What truly distinguishes this hotel is the staff. Having stayed in my fair share of places, I can confidently say the level of hospitality here is unmatched. The team is a vibrant, international mix hailing from Colombia, Italy, the Philippines, and, naturally, Japan. Each member of staff brings their own fascinating background, and they consistently take the time for a genuine chat, which made the stay feel remarkably personal. The concierge team operates on another level entirely. Nothing was ever too much of an ask. Whether it was pulling off last-minute reservations at elusive sushi and fugu restaurants, or actually escorting us down the mall to ensure we found a hidden dining spot, their commitment was nothing short of astonishing. The bar is equally fantastic. A massive shout-out to the brilliant bartenders, who mix Negronis that genuinely rival the Italian original. Tokyo is an incredible city in its own right, but staying here elevates the entire trip exponentially. Booking this hotel isn't just an accommodation choice; it is a massive value-add to your holiday. I genuinely believe this is the best hotel experience I have ever had.

Easily our favorite part of our trip to Japan. They made us feel like we were at home, honestly, better than home. Every employee from the bartender to the GM was fabulous and unreasonably hospitable. I work in hospitality, and they left me inspired to return to my career. If you have children, it is a no brainer. They will treat them just as important as the adults and customize their stay as well. Like MAGIC!!! The rooms....gorgeous, the breakfast....spectacular, the staff...world class. I am not sure how anyone could leave a review less than 5 stars. We will FOREVER stay at The Four Seasons, everywhere we go, because of this hotel. Currently, planning our next stay :) Easily, the nicest accommodations I have ever had. Kudos to all of you...we cannot wait to return.
This is the smaller and older of the two Four Seasons in Tokyo. It is, in my well travelled opinion, the best hotel in the world. It is immediately adjacent to Tokyo Station and it is a great starting point for journeys all over Japan. They will literally book your tickets and carry your luggage to your train platform and then await your return ti walk you back. The last time I stayed with them before the visit I just returned from, a typhoon hit central Japan while we were in Kyoto cancelling all bullet trains. Before I even knew about it, they contacted the Kyoto Four Seasons and extended my stay and adjusted my reservation there at zero cost and then immediately called me and helped rebook my ticket before all the reserved First Class seats sold out. On this trip, my wife was supposed to join us a day before a planned trip to Osaka (with an expensive private tour booked that could not be rescheduled) but her flight was cancelled and delayed 24 hours so she landed in Tokyo in the afternoon and we had to leave that night. They, on their own, extended check out to 6pm allowing her some recovery time. When we returned on Sunday they had somehow determined it was my wife’s birthday and had a cake awaiting her in the room and decorated the window with happy birthday. It is walkable to the world famous Ginza shopping district and a row of bars and restaurants that are authentically Japanese and a lot of fun. I have stayed at the Mandarin Oriental (incredible lobby of glass atop a high rise) and the other Four Seasons and the Grand Hyatt. All are very nice. None compare to the level of service at Marunouchi. Also the best breakfast and club sandwich in town. Shout out to June Pei at the front desk and Cane in the restaurant. Both incredible. Special thanks to the unparalleled concierge staff.
Maybe the only time I wish I could rate 7 stars. The staff are amazing. Breakfast was amazing, the chef even made special food for our baby. Fresh veggies and fruit with no additives. The newly renovated rooms are amazing. The spa was small but amazing. The location was amazing. Managers amazing. I have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels in Tokyo and this is the best so far.
Mixed feelings. The bed as usual with FS super comfortable. The manager who was there entertained us with free meal up on arrival was very kind. I have some concerns though; small hotel, no lobby. The entrance doesn’t smell nice, which unusual for four seasons. But my major concern that they didn’t give us even 2 hrs extra for late check out!!!! Luxury experience means having your guests who booked 2 rooms for a week to give at least 2 or 3 extra hours for even one of the room!!!! I checked there is availability so it’s not fully booked!! Anyway that’s not really luxury 🤦🏻♀️
