Our recent stay at Andaz Tokyo was amazing, as always. Every member of the team was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely kind. The service was truly top-notch from beginning to end. What stood out the most was how wonderfully they took care of our baby. The team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from thoughtful baby amenities to the little details that made traveling with a baby so much easier. You could really feel that the care was genuine, not just part of the service. Everyone we encountered—from the front desk and concierge to housekeeping and the door team—was attentive, welcoming, and always ready to help. It’s this level of consistency and personalized service that keeps bringing us back to Andaz Tokyo. Another exceptional stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

The Andaz rooftop bar is an absolute masterpiece of a venue. Perched on the 52nd floor, the views of the glittering Tokyo skyline and Tokyo Bay are nothing short of breathtaking—if they were filming Lost in Translation today, this is where the cameras would be. The atmosphere is effortlessly chic yet relaxed, but what truly elevates the experience is the craft behind the bar. Their Old-Fashioned is executed to absolute perfection: balanced, smooth, and served with a masterclass in mixology. An essential Tokyo experience that completely lives up to the hype.
Andaz Tokyo was nothing short of spectacular and easily one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality and some of the friendliest people we’ve encountered anywhere in the world. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views. Perched high above the city, Andaz offers panoramic vistas of Tokyo’s skyline that are simply unforgettable. Whether it was watching the city come alive in the morning or seeing the endless sea of lights at night, every view felt like a postcard. The rooftop experience was equally impressive. There’s something magical about enjoying a drink while overlooking one of the world’s greatest cities from above. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Tokyo. What stood out most, however, was the people. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the locals we met throughout our stay were incredibly kind and helpful. Japan’s hospitality is world-renowned, and Andaz embodies that spirit perfectly. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered every luxury imaginable. Every detail—from the design to the service—was thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting Tokyo and looking for a hotel that combines luxury, breathtaking views, and world-class hospitality, Andaz is an easy choice. It isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience in itself. Without question, Andaz Tokyo deserves every one of its five stars, and we can’t wait to return on our next trip to Japan.
We are just finishing up a stay here and found it very enjoyable. It feels like an Andaz (we're most familiar with the one in Maui and have also stayed at the one in NYC), but it also has a lot of Japanese character. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very good. We had great service and drinks at both the Rooftop Bar and the Tavern lounge. As far as location, we liked being in a bit of a quieter location, and the hotel is convenient to two subway lines, which meant we could get everywhere we wanted to pretty quickly. Another bonus of the location is that it's a short jog to the Imperial Palace loop, where I enjoyed running in the mornings. I would recommend it for a stay in Tokyo.
One of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. Unfortunately it was only for one night. Wanted to make the last day in Tokyo memorable and it exceeded my expectations. The room was the size of a studio apartment. We had the king bed, Tokyo tower view. I did not realize that the location is the top several floors of the giant building. The location is perfectly located with the train station underneath the building, so you don’t have to go outside in the rain. The staff were very polite and helpful. The sushi restaurant was one of the best sushi meals we had in Japan. It felt like a private dinner. The breakfast was one of the best that I’ve ever had in my life. There were so many great options and everything tasted great. The only two things that could be better are the rooftop patio, which is taken over by smokers and the limited seating area during happy hour.
