Nof Ginosar Hotel

We visited Nof Ginosar as a family of five, and thanks to the incredible staff, it was the best vacation we could have asked for with three young children. When we weren't entirely thrilled with our initial room, the hotel manager, Yoram, immediately stepped in. He recognized our needs, gave us a tour of alternative rooms, and moved us to a perfect spot that completely transformed our stay. Even though we visited after the busy summer season when organized kids' activities end, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel meant our children didn't miss them at all. The pool area is absolutely fantastic—it’s spacious, beautiful, and well-shaded, with lifeguards always on duty to keep everyone safe. There's a great separate children's pool, and the water is full of fun inflatables and floaties. To top it off, the food is delicious and nourishing, featuring a rich variety of fresh vegetables and expertly barbecued meats that everyone will love. The level of service goes above and beyond, with the staff providing excellent recommendations for local trips, including nearby water parks and family attractions that were still open. This personal attention and hospitality made our time exceptional.

At first glance, the hotel makes a great impression. The building appears recently renovated, modern, and well designed. It is obvious that significant investment has been made in the facilities. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was disappointing. The dining room was often dirty, the buffet area was not maintained during service, and tables were not cleaned promptly. Some of the breakfast items, including the omelet station, were not ready even after breakfast had started. The pool only opens at 10:00 AM, even though breakfast ends at 8:30 AM. Guests are left waiting an hour and a half with nothing to do, which is difficult to understand for a resort hotel. Housekeeping was also below expectations. Our room was never serviced during our stay, and our towels were never replaced. The staff were generally not welcoming. Most interactions were limited to very short answers, making us feel like guests were an inconvenience rather than being valued. To make matters worse, our room was not properly cleaned before our arrival. We even found blood stains on the bed, as shown in the attached photos. Overall, while the hotel looks impressive from the outside, the experience does not match the appearance. Considering the price, the value for money is poor, and I cannot recommend staying here.

I am just concluding a lovely two-night weekend stay. The grounds are very pleasant even when filled with running happy children. Now early morning it is tranquil. The food was ample yummy and there were lots of options for vegan diners which I really appreciate. Delicious fresh fruit, many plant-milk options. Staff kind and helpful. Hotel shop has everything! Lobby comfortable, entertainment Friday night was nice. Pool was awesome.

I have very mixed feelings about our visit. The locations is great. The food was fresh and yummy. Most of the staff were really very helpful, including most of the front desk, the weekend kitchen staff and cook who helped me with my complex diet. The cleaning staff did not alway understand the difference between "do not disturb" and "please clean my room", but that is not uncommon. We got upset when we were billed a higher rate for the meals then we were quoted iether when we called before we made our reservation or when we checked in. In the end we got a bit of the difference off but not all of it and anyway, that wasnt really the point. We would have been ok with the price we were charged, but telling us we should have checked three times and not only two times we did check was not helpful. The website told us there would be a discount if we joined their club but apparently that is only if there is no other discount. Parts of it were really good. I might even come back, but it is less likely after the aggravation.
