Had a brilliant night - got to see the cool areas of the city and realised Greek wine is diverse and delicious, much like the snacks. Great conversation, relaxed and fun. Strongly recommend.

Itinerary
Join us on a walk through the busy and cosmopolitan streets of Thessalonikis’ city center and visit 3 unique local wine bars, each with its own history and personal style. We do not just try wine, we are informed about each variety, and the ways it is made. Get ready to be amazed by the long and fascinating history of Greek wine, which is considered to be one of the best in the world! We try 6 different varieties of Greek wine all of them grown and produced in Greece by local vintners, each of them chosen for its distinct taste and origin. 6 glasses (75ml) of wine per person! We will taste local varieties of White, Red and Rosé wines, such as Xinomavro, Mavrotragano, Vidiano and Asyrtiko! Meze (Greek appetizers) chosen to ideally accompany each wine is served at each wine bar (rusks or salty sticks, cheese, olives, tomato). Reserved table on all venues! An experienced, educated & friendly facilitator will be accompanying you to assist you with anything you might need!

Very nice night with our engaging guide! Enjoyed trying the Greek wines with lovely charcuterie boards at each stop. Fun way to see out of the way places that we would have missed otherwise.
Elizabeth was absolutely amazing! She picked the perfect spots! Could not have asked for a better tour!
Had an amazing experience with Konstantina! Interesting variety of Greek wines and some great accompanying snacks.
The Thessaloniki small group wine tasting tour was an interesting journey into the wine culture of Greece. The guide Konstantina was very knowledgeable and explained the dimensions of the Greek wine making in an easily understandable way. All the wines and the accompanied mezes were very good and the discussions we had were very interesting. I highly recommend this tour not only for the wines but also for understanding the local history and culture.
LOVELY GREEK WINE TASTING in Thessaloniki with Konstantina as our "wine host" in three locations. It was interesting, we learned a lot about Greek & local wine, the area and also food and olive oil. We can only recommend this tour!
We did a wine tasting with Maria in May 2026 and it was a very pleasant experience. Over 2.5 hours, she took us to three different wine bars around the city center. We tried two wines at each stop, starting with rose, moving to white and finishing with red whine, along with some light snacks like cheese and antipasti. Maria is kind and easy to talk to. Thanks for a nice afternoon :)
This was such a good experience. We visited three sites, with two wines at each (rose, white, and then reds) and snacks at each. The guides and sommeliers were highly knowledgeable about Greek wine and we learned a lot.
Definitely recommend this tour, it was very interesting learning about the greek wine culture. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable, we had a great time! Also, something I didn't expect was how much food there would be, and it was all delicious, each one of the three bars we visited offered different dishes, outstanding, honestly!
Thomas was an excellent host! He took us to each location giving us some history of Thessaloniki along the way. He also gave us some history of Greek wines.
The best thing to do in Thessaloniki! All 3 Wine Bars were amazing and the wines just WOW. I could never imagine that Greece produces wine of that quality! The guide was also really really friendly and fun. Overall, 10/10!!
Excellent wine bar tour. Our guide took us to three wine bars that we never would have even thought of going to. Enjoyed walking the city with her and learning about a very cool Greek City. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
Our guide, Thomas, was wonderful. He was very nice and accommodating. My mother was having difficulty keeping up with all the walking so he suggested the underground/metro to lessen the walking. The tour involved more walking than we anticipated. The server at our first stop gave us lots of information and even invited us to see the wine cellar. The second stop was a bit more formal. Our server provided information about the differences in the 2 wines we tried as well as information about the food. (The food was wonderful). Our third stop was Franky’s. This was a nice place but our server only spoke to our guide and the male tourist in our group. He did not speak to my mother or me and we did not get much information about the wine we tried. Overall, this was a nice tour. Good wine and good food. Thomas provided information about the areas we walked through. This is definitely a tour I’d recommend.
Dina took us around to a few wine bars where we enjoyed a wide variety of Greek wines with delicious food. She is very engaging and answered all my questions about wine, and archaeology.
Very nice, I did the tour before. Celia was really nice and friendly. I need to try The other tours they do.
Dina and Celia made our wine tasting a memorable event. We felt like we had made friends by the end of the evening while tasting great wines and appetizers. I recommend this to anyone wanting to sample the local wines and small plate appetizers…and make friends!
Great wines and fantastic hospitality. We visited some lovely bars and the information given was very interesting.
Really enjoyed this tour Katrina was knowledgeable of the wine and food offering at each of the 3 venues. We were lucky in that the owner of the tour company Vassillis joined us. He added to the experience and a great tour was enjoyed by all. All 6 wines were exceptional, but my favourite was the last full bodied red.
This was an amazing tour filled with equally good wines! Elli was a great tour guide and a lovely person. Unlike many other wine tastings, this one takes you all over the city giving you the opportunity to see the sights, learn about the city and visit different small businesses all while drinking fantastic wines. Easily one of the most enjoyable tours I have taken and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
Lovely afternoon wandering around three different wine bars and learning about Greek wine. I also enjoyed the accompaniments - cheese and various vegetables. A chilled afternoon activity if you want to learn more about local wines.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Dina!! She was so knowledgeable about Greece and answered our many questions. She was so easy to talk to-we felt like we were sharing wine with a friend. Our 3 stops for wine tasting were great. We started with whites , then to Rosé and then reds learning the composition and region of each. We highly recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful time on our wine tour. Our guides were super friendly and knowledgeable, and the three locations we visited were fantastic!! We would highly recommend!
Exciting and interesting "pub crawl" with 6 exciting Greek wines, small appetizers, and a competent and really cozy guide.
An ideal way to get to know the best wine bars, with fine Greek wines, in the city. Places where you as a tourist would not just end up. This in the pleasant company of Konstantina
Our guide Kostas took us to 3 excellent wine bars, including the see atmospheric Franky's, and explained a lot. Very nice tour!
