Excellent tour of Thessaloniki with history talks and stops and a great refreshement along the way! Georgios was an excellent narrator of the tour and relays the history of this compelling city in Greece. Easy biking, felt safe always, and was able to see many historical spots. I highly recommend this bike tour if you have a chance, wonderful to get some exercise and learn about the history and culture of Thessaloniki.

George was one of the highlights of our time in Thessaloniki. From the moment we met him it felt like we were exploring the city with a friend rather than being on a typical tour. This is a really great way to see the city as someone who had never been before. Our guide Efthimis was an amazing host and gave lots of insight into the city and its culture. If you're concerned at all about the cycling, you don't need to be. There's a somewhat long hill right at the beginning, but it's totally manageable, and the rest of the cycling is very easy. Even with the intense heat wave, it was still a very enjoyable morning.

Booked this through Viator for a couples' trip and absolutely loved it. Everything from the meeting point to the tour pace was top-notch. It's a great value and it’s honestly the perfect way to see the city. 5/5 stars all day.

fun way to see the city and major sites. efthimis was our guide, he did a great job giving us explanations of every site. my husband and i did the regular bikes (not electric) and it was pretty easy to keep up with everyone on e-bikes.

First designated stop was closed but we still pedaled all the way to see it. They should have a back up plan to visit another site in case this happens. The guide was very congenial and couldn’t have been more engaging, but needed to study up more on the sights to give the tour a five star rating in our opinion. We did have a beautiful young lady who was on her first day assisting the tour who was a natural and would interject information seamlessly.

Our guide Efthimis was super personable, authentic, and shared his personal experiences of growing up in Thessaloniki in relation to what we saw, the history and culture. He was genuinely interested in the guests, was articulate, smart, respectful, and energetic.

Efthimis was a terrific guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable, he ensured we had a lot of fun and guided us expertly through the city. My daughter is 10 years old, and this was her first time on an e-bike, and Efthimis had the good idea to flip the tour a bit to let her get used to the bike on the boardwalk before we entered the city. The bikes were in top condition, and we learned a lot about the history and culture of Thessaloniki. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Thessolaniki. Today we had the bike tour with our guide Thalis. After picking up the bikes at the hotel we set off through the city to experience the lovely city of Thessaloniki. Thalis guided us with great enthusiasm and a great knowledge of the new and old places of interest. He was eager to answer all our questions. And had many recommendations of musea or sights to visit. Also was honest about the value for money at certain sites. He took us to a nice cafe at the harbour for a coffee which was price included in the biketour. The 3h trip with the quidance of Thalis was worth every penny. A recommendation it is!

The Thessaloniki bike your was a great way to get inside the city. The three-hour tour took us to all the major sites in the centre of the city: Greek, Roman, Ottoman, and then more modern Greek. There were no very steep inclines and it was at a confortable pace. As a native of the city, the guide was able to share insights and to engage with our comparative stories about ruins recently uncovered in London. She treated us to a coffee and a local sweet snack at a half-way break. Overall it felt like a very personal tour and we would recommend this.

We had a great time on our bike tour in Thessaloniki. Our guide, Thomas, was knowledgeable and attentive, making sure we stopped when we wanted and that we were able to keep up with him and navigate traffic and people safely. The route is mainly flat, and there are many bespoke cycle routes so it is the perfect city to cycle in, and the perfect way to see the city. Would do this activity again if we were to visit Thessaloniki, and would definitely recommend you use this company and book this activity.

Easy and enjoyable bike ride on good quality bikes with very friendly and polite guide, covering the main sites of the city. It would have been even better if the information about the sites was more detailed/ in depth, given the city’s historical Biblical significance. Overall though it was a very good way of getting an impression of the city, especially as there are cycle paths all over the city and even in the high temperatures, it was very manageable and worthwhile trip! Seeing the city by bike was a great way to get around and see the highlights. Don't expect a thorough guided tour with in depth explanations and history. This is a see the highlights and com back later if you want more in-depth.

Entering into a melting pot of different historic and modern places, monuments ans stories, which were easy reachable by bike, and explained by a brillant english speaking smart young person. The pre-christmas atmospher was the cherry on top of the cake.

A really great way to discover Thessaloniki! 😊 The bike tour was a lot of fun, and you get a nice impression of the city in a short time and also see some corners that you probably wouldn't have discovered on foot. The tour was well organized, pleasantly relaxed, and the explanations along the way were interesting without it feeling like a classic city tour. The pace was also just right, and there was enough time to enjoy the surroundings and take photos. For me, definitely one of the highlights of my stay in Thessaloniki and a clear recommendation for anyone who would like to get to know the city in a slightly different way! 🚲🇬🇷

The tour was the best. It is a perfect opportunity to learn about the culture and history of Thessaloniki in a small group. Tour guide Efthimis was very kind and wonderful in his consideration. They also provide cold water and coffee breaks. Since it's hot in the summer, I recommend taking sun protection measures and using an e-bike.
