This was the best thing we did in Thessaloniki. The knowledge and information was so interesting we also got to go places we never would have on our own. Giorgos was a lovely guide and beautiful person. Wish we had time to do another tour with him.

Giorgos met me at the designated place even though I was a little late. He assured me we had time despite my trouble getting a taxi to come up to Ana Poli. During the 2 hours we were together, I found him knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and intent upon giving me a good experience of St. Paul’s time in Thessaloniki. I really liked how he spoke about Paul’s humanity. I came away with a new appreciation for Paul which enriches my life going forward.

Our excellent and knowledgeable guide Giorgos, took us through the most interesting, historical and beautiful parts of Thessaloniki. I really enjoyed this tour. He was very thoughtful about planning stops for the necessary, finding us shady places to sit while he spoke, and making our street crossings safe. His Biblical knowledge of Paul in Thessaloniki was very thorough and accurate. He also shared findings from archeology to add extra information.

Bravo to Giorgos for a wonderful and inspirational tour following the footsteps of Paul through Thessiloniki. As we walked through different spots in the upper city, Giorgos shared from his Biblical and historical knowledge of Paul's life and his bringing the Gospel message to Thessiloniki. He was able to bring out little known facts about Paul's life which are backed up either by documents and/or tradition. By giving us the cultural and historical background Giorgos helped flesh out some common misconceptions about the Apostle Paul's journey. His story-telling style brought the Biblical narrative alive. He painted a picture of Paul as he truly was, a devoted follower of Christ.

My husband and I thought the tour with Giorgos was fantastic! It was the highlight of our visit to Greece. I wish he had been our guide for the other locations we visited. Giorgos' knowledge and passion were evident as he shared significant insights into the life of Paul and his visit to Thessalonica on his second missionary trip. The pace of our tour was just right. He was engaging and expertly wove in relevant Bible passages, allowing time for questions and further discussion. Giorgo clarified what are known facts and what is tradition or speculation. It's apparent that Giorgo does his homework, continuing to investigate new discoveries and incorporating them into the tour. I walked away with a greater appreciation for Paul and his ministry and how Thessalonica (and Greece) fits into the spread of the gospel in the world. The tour with Giorgos was absolutely fantastic and truly impressive. He explained and guided us through so much fascinating information about Paul’s second missionary journey and his companions in a very engaging and enjoyable way. Not only did he take us through the footsteps of Paul, but he also answered all of our questions in great detail, always supporting his explanations with historical facts and references. We are from Germany but also speak Italian, and Giorgos was kind enough to explain everything impressively in Italian as well. This tour is the most comprehensive tour of St. Paul in Thessaloniki! The guide is fabulous and also very personable! His love for Thessaloniki and sharing the stories of Paul and his companions in multiple journeys to Thessaloniki is contagious! He also related the history in Thessaloniki to St. Paul’s other journeys in Corinth, Philippi, Berea, and other cities. He showed us the important places, but also gave us the cultural context of what was happening! It was a perfect way to start our time in Thessaloniki!

A great two hour focusing on the history of the Apostle Paul in the region. Giorgos was knowledgeable, kind, and personable. You can tell he really loves his work. We learned a lot about Greek history! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Biblical history.

This was one of the best tours we did on our trip to Thessaloniki! Girogos was very knowledgeable and went through the details in Paul's letters to the Thessalonians as well as what was recorded in Acts on the tour. He also connected it to the Thessaloniki/Greek history of the time. We learned info that really helped us understand more the context/history of the time when Paul wrote his letters. Girogos also took us to some amazing spots we wouldn't have known about on our own. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Thessaloniki!
