Museums of illusions are more or less the same in various cities of Europe, so do not expect anything new, if you've been to one. Otherwise, if you're here for the first time, you'll enjoy spending some funny time in the Museum, especially if you're visiting with kids. If you're looking for some fun, then this is the right place!

We arrived as the museum opened at 11am so it was empty of visitors and we had the place nearly to ourselves for the first half hour which was nice. A number of the illusions require two or even three people so it was nice that an employee kept her eye on us and offered to take pictures of us or help us get in the proper locations to make the illusions work. My wife didn’t think she would care for the museum but actually enjoyed it as much as I did. The signs explaining how the illusions work were written in both Greek and English and there were also a number of puzzle games that could be solved. Expect to spend about an hour to look over all the exhibits.

I would not recommend this. It's really crowded, had to wait 30' even tough I had booked my ticket in advance. They want to get more money so they pack everyone in. And if the illusions were worth it, I'd say ok. But they were mediocre.

We visited museum right after lunch. We had a great moment there. It was fun for us adults maybe more than we expected to be. The staff is very friendly and polite. Ticket price was reasonable. There are family tickets at reduced price.

We loved this museum! We were a group with three children ages 5, 6, and 10, and three adults, and we all had a fantastic time. There were activities and exhibits for everyone, including really fun interactive exhibits for the kids. Highly recommend! The staff were amazing, and super helpful and friendly.

Some great fun illusions. Some I had seen before but many I hadn't. You need to take a camera. We didn't prebook as we weren't sure of our timings. Got in fine and it wasn't too busy. Lots of great puzzles in the shop.

After our driver failed to show for another excursion, we wandered the city and came across this delightful museum. We were the only ones there who did not have young children but we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves trying out the different illusions. Fun afternoon

Absolutely a wonderful experience . Lots of fun and they have many interesting illusions which are very well presented. Staff are brilliant and extremely helpful. This is one of the top highlights of my trip to Thessaloniki

A family museum. Everyone enjoyed this visit from parents to kids, 15-6 years of age, would highly recommend it. The optical illusions are enjoyable for all ages. The tour is 50 minutes long and time flies. There are 45 different pieces so you won’t be bored and you may even struggle to complete them all. Our favorite was the vortex!

This is a must do activity in Thessaloniki, it is such good fun, we were 2 couples and we laughed so much and had so much fun, it is one of the best €11 I have ever spent. The staff were also extremely helpful and ensured that we were able to get some of the best photographs of the illusions. It was so good we were still laughing and smiling hours later at the end of the day This is an ideal place to visit for people of all ages

I highly recommend to anyone thats looking for a crazy and funny experience. We had so much fun with everything and our mind was totally tricked by it. The staff was really nice and helped as with the photos.

It was a really fun experience! The exhibition may not be so large, but it is incredibly completed and filled with exciting and creative installations. The staff was super nice, welcoming and very helpful, making the experience even better. We went all round – and with a lot of fantastic and funny pictures. A clear recommendation from here!

Nice but very but very small. The staff was very good but the kids were not pleased.The majority were for adults with tables etc. He said it would last 1 hour and in 25 minutes we had seen them all and a few and 2-3 times.

Great museum to visit with kids. We all had a blast. It's a small place but we spent almost an hour. We didn’t get enough of some illusions and did it again and again—the employees are knowledgeable and helpful.

Disappointed...... I expected better ...30 euros 2 adults and a 12 year old child, it is done in a short time.....cher for what it is!!!

We visited on a Saturday and besides being very small, it was very crowded, so you have to wait a long time to take pictures or see an exhibit. There is very little to see and it was definitely not worth the cost.

I recommend this museum for those traveling with small children. My children, 7 and 5, had a great time. Great pastime!
