The bus and guided tour was a great way to get a basic overview of the area and the importance of the region in historical importance. The guide Vassilia provided an extremely positive display of knowledge for a younger tour guide. She answered every question with zeal and kept our attention.

Our Tour guide was very knowledgeable. The whole group enjoy this tour and was impressed with the tour guide.

We did both a bus tour and then a walking tour. We were able to see so much of the city and learn it's history. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

Our guide, Athina, was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable. As this was a private tour she tailored it to our interests. We had a great time.

This was a basic tour that consisted of shops around the city. Save your money go on the on and off the bus. I think it is the same experience. The tour guide is lovely.

This tour was a disappointment to us. We enjoyed the locations but we're disappointed with the tour guide. This was a small group on a bus. When we stopped to walk to sites the tour guide was in the lead and would talk as he walked, making it impossible to hear all he had to say. When he stopped to address the group he would not wait for us all to be there so that we missed much of the history of the sites. We questioned him on a few things and it seemed he could have been more knowledgeable as some of his facts seemed off. We have typically had much better experiences with Viator tours.

The tour was fantastic! Our driver Adonis and our guide Despina were wonderful. My cousin and I had a great time spending the day with them, we enjoyed Thessaloniki a lot, and learned so many interesting things. What a beautiful city with such an amazing history. This tour is a must if you are visiting Thessaloniki!

This was an absolutely spectacular tour. Our guide, Dimitrios, was knowledgeable, sensitive to my wife's limited mobility issues and adapted his tour to accommodate our interests as they became available during our time together. We weren't sure what to expect of Thessaloniki, but we enjoyed every second of our visit there. Of the multiple tours we took on our cruise to Greece, Dimitri was the best guide we had. Can't recommend him enough.

There is a lot of walking, but you get excellent views of the city from the sea and from the old town in the hills. Thessaloniki is a great a city to visit.

The weather was not great but our guide Gianni (John) was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We felt like we learned a lot more than just the usual facts about each site. Especially the Ottoman and Jewish influence in Thessaloniki He took some people to the market to finish the tour but we didn’t go due to weather. Even without the last stop it was well worth it

Thessaloniki was a surprise to us - it is underrated among the places to visit in Greece . Rich in history and amazing tourist spots , thanks to our local guide Tassous for taking us around and educating us about the many historical landmaraks, statues and ruins of the city. A very educational private tour, highly recommended!

Bill (our driver) and John (our tour guide) were both amazing. Their kindness, sense of humor and deep knowledge of the city made for a wonderful day of activities. There was a national strike the day of our tour and John and Bill made certain to avoid that chaos and keep our great trip on schedule. I can’t say enough great things about the two of them and the overall experience.

We enjoyed our private tour with Vasilis. He dropped us off at all the must see highlights of Thessaloniki. He waited patiently for us to complete our explorations(about 60 minutes). Overall, the tour in Thessaloniki was good and covered interesting sites, but the presentation felt a bit dry at times. Unfortunately, it was hard to hear the guide while in the van, which made it difficult to stay engaged, and I even found myself nodding off occasionally. With clearer audio and a bit more energy in the delivery, this could have been an excellent experience.

Really solid tour. The guide, Stella, was friendly and super knowledgeable—took us to all the major highlights around Thessaloniki and even showed us a hidden spot that most tourists would probably miss. The driver, Apostolos, was great too. The car was clean and comfortable. All around a smooth, worthwhile experience. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting and wanting to learn&see more.

A very comfortable and succinct tour for those who don’t want to waste time finding all the interesting sites, and would like to do so in comfort (Greece in summer can get quite hot). The tour was tailored to our needs, with willingness to accommodate breaks and points of interest. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and funny, and the van was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the Best of Thessaloniki Private Guided Tour. Our tour guide Yiannis was outstanding. He shared a lot on local histoy and the sites we saw. He was interesting and funny. We also talked about his background and Greece today, which we found interesting. We thought he as great. It was nice to have a dedicated driver in addition to the tour guide - it allowed the tour guide to focus on us.
