The Met Hotel

I just happened to write this review after a while. Yet, I wanted to comment on my stay there between the following dates: 29.9.26-6.10.26. My reflection on the service, staff ,overall organization in this hotel is absolutely second-to-non, top-notch. Their attention to my necessity and needs never failed me , I highly recommend, based on my stay, to reserve a couple of nights their, definitely worth the price of admission in my vacation..

I had a wonderful experience at the Long Bar at the ground floor of the Hotel. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, and the level of hospitality and service was truly exceptional. A special mention to Katerina for her genuine friendliness, professionalism, and attentive service, which made the visit particularly enjoyable. A great example of five-star hospitality, where the attention to detail and personal touch make all the difference. Highly recommended!

The roof pool and bar area is gorgeous. A real attraction in its own right! Staff were kind and helpful, rooms were comfortable and my daughter really liked the spa. Breakfast was also excellent. An unforeseen problem happened with the roof pool and the manager emailed to tell us that it would be out of use while we were there (two days). However, I was very impressed that they fixed this quicker than expected and we were able to use it. That was really responsive and important as we chose th hotel for this feature. Only downside was that the room was dusty when we arrived. Guess it had been out of used for a while; not a huge deal for me but a five star hotel should notice. Location is a bit inconvenient for tourists but their free service to the centre is a good idea.

Our stay at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning—beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and maintained to the highest standards. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It is simply outstanding, with an incredible variety of high-quality food that caters to every taste. It was one of the highlights of our stay each morning. The rooftop pool is another fantastic feature. It is large, beautifully designed, and offers a wonderful place to relax. While there are a limited number of sunbeds, the hotel manages this brilliantly. Rather than allowing guests to reserve beds with towels for hours on end, the staff actively ensure fair access for everyone. They even offer a proper reservation system for the sunbeds, which is a thoughtful and effective approach that makes the experience enjoyable for all. What truly sets The Met Hotel apart, however, is its people. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. Unfortunately, I had an accident during our stay, which meant I spent most of the holiday in a wheelchair. It could easily have overshadowed our trip, but thanks to the incredible care, compassion, and support of the hotel staff, they managed to turn what could have been a very difficult experience into a genuinely pleasant one. Their willingness to go above and beyond for their guests is something we will never forget. A particularly special thank you goes to Katharine at the bar. Every morning she greeted us with the biggest smile, made us feel so welcome, and consistently went out of her way to look after us. Her warmth, positivity, and exceptional service perfectly reflect the hospitality that makes this hotel so special. The Met Hotel is a place where luxury is matched by genuine care for its guests. We cannot recommend it highly enough and would not hesitate to return.
