The property is in an excellent location. The amenities are very basic and the space is just enough. It is located in a office building and seems to be a converted office space. The stay was pleasant and the room was spacious. The biggest issue was cleanliness. There was hair everywhere and when I say everywhere, I mean everywhere. We didn't get in until very late around 12am and we had been traveling all day. We were tired and exhausted and just wanted to get to bed. However, we ended up spending another 2 hrs trying to clean everything so that we could sleep. To be specific about where all the hair was. There was hair all over the couch, kitchen counter, and kitchen stools. This was definitely not human hair and it was not just on the couch. The couch was a microfiber couch so the pet hair was weaved into the fabric and it was all over it. There was no where you could sit without getting a bunch of black hair all over your clothes. I'm a pet lover but, I don't want to wear someone else's pet on me. The kitchen counter and stools were hard services so easier to wipe off. We gave up on the couch. Then there was the bed, I'm assuming it was human hair but not sure. It was curly and all over the covers and on the bedsheets, pillow, desk, in the wardrobe, on the floor. The sheets were white so, it was very noticeable. There was hair in the bathroom but i'm not sleeping there so that was not appreciated but not as disturbing as hair everywhere else. After I reached out to the manager, they offered to clean the apartment however, I let them know we were not comfortable with them entering when we were not there and we would likely be out all day until late. They tried to make it seem as if it was our issue that we couldn't accommodate their schedule to come back and clean when it should have been done properly the prior to our check in. I had to press very hard and explain we already had to spend our time cleaning the unit for it to be inhabitable and they finally relented and gave us a small credit on our cleaning fee.

A fine apartment, but it is hard to find. No nameplate or indication of which floor it is on. Unfortunately, the Thessaloniki Police are very strict; while my wife was waiting in the car and I was picking up the apartment key, we got a parking ticket. Welcome to Thessaloniki 😤😤
