Loved our stay here! It is the perfect hotel, with lots of amenities: air conditioning, a real mini fridge, room safe, laundry (bring or buy soap), and kitchenette. Beds are firm so ask for a topper. Breakfast was the best…yummy mini donuts. Location was central, only 5 minutes to The Girl with Pearl Earring and next to a tram stop. Last but not least, staff were very friendly and helpful, which seals the deal: we highly recommend this hotel!
I can't speak highly enough of this hotel; it really checks all the boxes. I've stayed here for an extended period of time every summer for the last few years. The staff is always super friendly and helpful-they always go above and beyond to solve any issues. The rooms are spacious (esp. for European standards) and clean. I've stayed in rooms of several different tiers (studio, one bedroom, parliament view) and they all have kitchens, AC, and private bathrooms. The rooms have all been quiet. Despite being right downtown I've never been kept awake from outside noise, and I've never heard any other hotel guests at night. Super easy to get to Den Haag Centraal train station either by tram or walking. The staff put on complimentary socials with free drinks and snacks; I've met some other friendly hotel guests that way. There is a laundry room in the basement that is free for guests; you just have to bring your own soap. Breakfast buffet is included and while I wouldn't say its gourmet, they have a nice variety and they allow you to take the food back up to your room. The lobby/lounge area is beautiful and great for camping out on your laptop or socializing. In all, I can't recommend it enough!
- Great location - very central, quiet, lovely views. - Really good breakfast - they operate a time-slot system for breakfast where you choose a 45 minute slot and then get given a coloured token. This worked well for us - meaning that breakfast wasn't too crowded. Good selection of hot and cold options. - Coffee machine available all day in the foyer is a nice touch - "social hour" with free drinks and snacks on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoon was a pleasant way to while away an hour. The communal lounge area is pleasant for relaxing. - The kitchen in each room has 2 induction hot plates, a dishwasher and a combined microwave/mini-grill oven - The Bike hire was very straightforward and my wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant cycle to Delft. We made a few suggestions for improvement an a couple of minor issues with the room which, to their credit, the staff took on board and quickly rectified.
Me and my wife went for a longe weekend to The Heage. During this weekend we stayed in the Staybrights suites hotel. The hotel is located in the city center of The Heage. When you stand in the front door you can see the so called Binnen Hof. This is the place were the dutch government is stationed. The Hotel itself is located in a old building which is completely restored. The entrance is nice and wide and with high ceilings. The staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are big enough and we had also a kitchen. I think it more made for a longer stay then we did. The breakfast is also good and for the hotel is no more then a 5 minute walk into the city center. The place is also good for disabled persons. And they have their own parking.
We had an absolutely amazing stay thanks to the wonderful staff at this hotel, particularly the gentleman and woman on Saturday who were very accommodating when we arrived before our check in time! The lobby had a great variety of warm and cold drink options, plus our room had a kettle and a coffee machine. There was plenty of closet space, along with full sized bathroom amenities. The breakfast had so many options. Our favorites were the pastries, rotating warm foods like eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, and the fresh fruit. The main feature of this hotel for us was the location. The view of the parliament building from our room was stunning. There is great food and shopping just a very short walk away for both luxury and budget options. On Wednesday there was even a local market going on just one street over from where the hotel was. Overall, VERY glad we stayed at this hotel as we had nothing but great experiences.
