Wonderful hotel, great location, lovely and kind staff, very hospitable, private parking in the heart of the centre and perfect hang-out spot in all the nooks of the ground floor. Very easy no-key service with roomkey on your phone. Only down-side was that our shower spilled over and our floor got wet. But that was handled.

The hotel is very nice, as long as you can actually get in! In an absurd instance of technology gone mad, I guess in a classic case of false economies, access to both hotel and room is via your phone. Only it doesn't always work and if it doesn't you call a security sub-contractor, who MAY be able to open the door remotely. In my case, I could not get into my room. About 2 calls and 20 minutes later I was remotely let into a new room and promised a key card and a new link for an electronic key. Neither was ever received, no keycard in room, no link sent. When I got back from dinner (it got so late I was lucky to find a restaurant still open), I had to call the security people again to let me into my room. Absurd is the only way to describe all this and it's a shame because, as I say, the hotel is otherwise very nice. I recommend the management goes back to the old-fashioned ways if they want people to come back.
Cozy hotel on a quaint and quirky street that’s centrally located. Comfortable rooms and lovely staff. It feels like home. On the downside, it can be noisy at night, with lots of restaurants on the street. Also, the breakfast is very modest. There are lots of bakeries and cafes in the neighborhood that you can explore instead. I gave Service only 3 stars because the hotel isn’t staffed 24/7.
We had the most amazing stay at Arq Paleis hotel and we can’t wait to be back. The rooms were spacious enough and the bathroom also. The deco style is really pretty and cozy, a lot of attention to detail which is also translated in the room amenities (coffee, tea, water, coffee capsule machine and kettle, glasses and cups). The beds are comfortable and the only negative would be the first Saturday night when the people on the street were loud and we could hear it from the rooms, but helas we had earplugs. The common space with the honest bar is very accommodating and we felt at ease to relax there and for example play a board game and eat snacks, like our own living room. The location is perfect and the parking convenient, we are European so we are used to tighter streets but managed easily with a bigger car to get to the hotel. The neighborhood is amazing, great shops and bakeries and cafes etc The staff is super friendly and accommodated our early check in and late checkout. All in all, great stay and we will definitely be back!
A cozy, well-located hotel on a beautiful street in Den Haag Centrum. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the rooms were modern, practical, and well kept. It also has an elevator (not something very common in these century-old buildings). I strongly recommend their breakfast — it’s not only really tasty and made with high-quality products, but if you plan on having breakfast before 10 a.m., there aren’t many other options open nearby. You can also find great vintage shops and restaurants on the same street. We plan to come back on spring or summer, but mid-winter was still beautiful.
