A wonderful stay in a unique historic hotel. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo The Hague – Palace Noordeinde. The hotel has a very special atmosphere because of its history as a former bank building. The combination of beautiful architecture, elegant details and modern comfort makes this place truly unique. Our room was lovely, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the centre of The Hague. We especially enjoyed the historic character of the building and the feeling that we were staying somewhere with a real story. The old bank vault area was a very impressive detail and made our stay even more memorable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we felt very well taken care of during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We would happily come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something special in The Hague. With kind regards, Olena and Olexander💛🩵

The good news: 1. Great location. 2. Beautiful old building. 3. INCREDIBLE service from the front desk staff -- Kaeman, Lucia, and Emila all deserve specific recognition for helping rescue what otherwise would have been a 1/5 review. The bad news: 1. Rooms dusty. 2. Room(s) in partial disrepair -- we had to move from one to another because of a broken panel in the shower that was threatening to collapse. 3. Air conditioning in the second room went off automatically every few hours -- including in the middle of the night, when it was not possible to reset it manually to the desired temperature -- meaning we roasted at night given the hot weather. 4. On the first night, the cleaners stopped halfway through the room and we had to tell the front desk to send them back to finish. 5. On subsequent nights, the cleaners failed to clean and replace coffee mugs, coffee capsules, sugar, etc. -- seems like there is no systemic plan, checklist, or perhaps appropriate training. Bottom line -- would not stay here again. Maybe IHG should not have licensed this property to a third-party entity to operate and maintain! As is, this hotel is barely worthy of three stars, NOT the four it claims.
Stayed here for two weeks on business and immensely enjoyed it. The vibe and theme of a hotel being a former bank was a nice touch and novelty. The bed was comfortable and the room was well-sized with a good view of the street and plenty of natural light. The location is perfect for wandering out by foot to explore the city and beyond. Opposite the royal palace and on a shopping street, it's not too noisy but very convenient. Lots of nearby restaurants and a park available. The tram stop is just around the corner and even the main central station is 20 minutes walking. The welcome experience was top-notch. I arrived early in the morning before a room was available and was offered a complimentary coffee and breakfast while waiting. Staff greeted me with a smile every time I left and returned, and were prompt to help with requests such as delivery of an iron and ironing board. They have a restaurant, terrace and underground bank vault bar available as well.
Very nice hotel in a great location with a bit of a noise problem. The hotel is in a fabulous location, in the middle of a bustling street with cafes, restaurant and shops, close to the famous museums and also to bus and tram with easy access to the Hague central station. It is very elegant and design oriented, and quite pleasing to the eye even if showing some wear and tear occasionally. My room was large, spacious and cleverly designed, there was a fridge with complimentary drinks, Nespresso machine, a kettle and separate bathroom and shower rooms. bed was nice and comfy. However - my room (113) had several noise problems, plumbing sounds from adjacent/superior rooms were heard constantly throughout my stay, and at 0300 am it can be a little bothersome. More problematic is that the room which is located at the end of the building is overlooking the Noordeinde palace but also a construction site (for a future terrace, I was told) which is right outside the window - I stayed there on a weekday and they started working at 0715, and you cannot continue sleeping with construction noises immediately outside the window. I imagine this is temporary and probably not a problem if you stay there on the weekend (what will be the effect of a future terrace right outside your window only time would tell). Breakfast was so-so, the restaurant is very elegant and coffee was barista made which is a bonus. the buffet however was a bit on the dull side and while there is an option to order a hot item, which in itself is great, my eggs were nothing special. Staff were quite friendly and efficient and checked me in earlier than published time. In conclusion - a very nice hotel, breakfast can be improved and noise might be a problem if you are very sensitive or want to sleep in till late.
Fantastic location right in the core of downtown. Beautiful property in historic building with renovated rooms, super friendly service. I highly recommend the bar for a drink (its unique and iconic in the NLs) and the rich breakfast.
