With private car and bilingual guide, begin your day at Parque Nacional Los Nevados, arriving at the Black Lagoon and enjoying a typical breakfast near Arbolito. Then hike to Cerro de las Águilas, where on clear days you can see Nevado del Ruiz’s snow-capped peaks, the Black Lagoon from above, Manizales nestled among cliffs, and eagles in flight. At the summit, relax with snacks and use a telescope to take in the views. On the return, stop for lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Autumn Springs for a thermal bath. Return to your hotel late afternoon. Duration: approximately 9 hours from Pereira.
