My wife and I had a great experience visiting La Finca del Café and taking the Coffee Tour. Our guide was Fabian and he made the tour very interesting and fun. We learned about coffee types, how it is processed and even got the chance to pick up coffee bean from the trees, just to experience what coffee collector do. It had an amazing time and really recommend the tour to anybody visiting the region.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The tour was incredibly educational and gave us a deep understanding of the entire coffee-making process, from the coffee plant to the perfect cup. A special thank you to our guide, Fabian, whose passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm made every part of the tour fascinating. His explanations were not only informative but also full of humor, making the experience both educational and entertaining. You could truly feel how proud he is of Colombian coffee and the beautiful region he calls home. A big compliment also goes to Sophie, who translated everything from Spanish into English with remarkable clarity and professionalism. She ensured that nothing was lost in translation, making the tour enjoyable and accessible for everyone. The teamwork between Fabian and Sophie was outstanding. The tour was also very interactive. We didn’t just listen—we picked coffee cherries, learned about processing, tasted different coffees, and experienced every step firsthand. It was engaging, fun, and never felt rushed. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Walking through the lush coffee plantation, surrounded by tropical plants, colorful flowers, birds, and breathtaking views, made the experience even more special. Nature lovers will appreciate the incredible biodiversity and peaceful atmosphere. If you’re visiting the coffee region, don’t miss this tour. Our coffee tour was very immersive. Our tour guide Fabian was very knowledgeable about all aspects of coffee and its history. We experienced walking through the fields which were incredibly beautiful. The walk through the coffee grounds took 2 1/2 hours but it was shady for the majority which cooled us immensely. Everyone was incredibly patient and kind. For the fee, very much worth it.

He was very thoughtful and informative with his explanation, he made the tour very enjoyable and taught my family everything about the process behind the coffee and history of the farm. I would recommend this experience to anyone who appreciates the effort that goes into each cup of coffee you drink.

Fabian did a great job, was very knowledgeable and we had a good time. The whole tour is very well organised and you can pick coffee by yourself, use the machines to process it and drink after the tour

It was a beautiful tour, I loved the scenery and experiencing how depth of how the coffee is produced. The hard work put into it and the minute details that go into making delicious coffee. Our tour guide Fabion was tremendous, a guy with character and a personality even with the language barrier (we had a family friend in our group that spoke Spanish and translated what he said in English) it was an awesome experience!!

The tour guide Fabian was excellent from beginning to end. He explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions. He was kind and went far and beyond our expectations. We will never see coffee the same way again. We developed a high respect towards the process of making of coffee. We will definitely remember this day forever.

The coffee tour was incredibly educational and fun. We started off with a great educational demonstration about the raising of coffee plants, then took a very fun walk through a bamboo forest, and coffee plantation. We picked our own beans, practiced getting the skins off, and then got to sample several different types of newly brewed coffee. The gift shop offered several kinds of coffee and other items. The guide, Javier, was fantastic - he let us sample some oranges from the tree, gave us citronella from the plants, and taught us a lot about the flora and fauna - very respectful of nature. Would highly recommend.

This is an amazing tour, which combines an historical, botanical and cultural experiences around an amazing coffee plantation. Full immersion of amazing colours, scents, and sounds of nature. A very warm welcome by very friendly farmers who make everyone feel at ease from the beginning to the end. And their coffee is excellent ☕️♥️

went there with my parents. If your parents are elderly, it might be a bit much for them. However, the staff and the other visitors were wonderful. They were patient and took their time to explain everything. I learned a lot about how coffee is made, what it takes to produce quality coffee, and how to truly appreciate drinking it. In short, it was truly an unforgettable experience. However, if you have knee problems, difficulty walking, or even heart issues, it might not be recommended due to the altitude and uneven, hilly terrain. But truly a must see.

Amazing tour with javier who showed us around the whole farm and taught us more than expected with coffee and the process that happens for each type of coffee at the farm. Javier was very friendly and pleasant to walk with and his English is very good. We left a little tired but it was worth it for the views and the information.

This was such a great experience! The views were amazing, we took awesome photos, and learned so much about the coffee production process! We even got to taste some coffee, fresh oranges, and a coffee lemonade drink! Definitely recommend!

We took the 10am coffee tour in Spanish and didn't know what to expect. It was wonderful! Fabian, our guide, provided a detailed, entertaining overview of coffee growing and processing step by step. We sucked on the coffee bean just after we popped it out of the "cherry." Very sweet. We learned about the growing process. He pointed out many flowers and plants, and even a small frog half the size of my pinkie fingernail. And of course we tasted coffee. We ended in their shop where we started, where we were served an amazing coffee with lemon "granita." Refreshing and well balanced. Fabian was great and we highly recommend him as a guide.

Javier was great! My girlfriend speaks Spanish and I am semi fluent but at times need a translation. Javier speaks both languages and I was able to understand everything in this tour. The coffee here is fantastic! And definitely bought a container of the yogurt which is to die for! Thanks, Javier!

This was one of the best tours that we took on our 3 week tour of Columbia. We loved how much that we learned on this experience. Our guide also gave us great information about the region which enhanced our trip as well. We have been on several coffee tours around the world and this experience was different and added to our overall appreciation for coffee growers and coffee overall.

We highly recommend the coffee tour! We really enjoyed the fresh and delicious brew coffee provided before and after the tour, wearing the traditional hat, poncho and basket to pick coffee, the path was easy to navigate, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns. Our favorite part was processing our own picked coffee, followed by meeting the farmer's wife who wore a traditional attire and displayed the steps to brew fresh coffee at the farm.

Even though I had visited el Eje Cafero in the past, this was a new experience with family and friends. We were wonderfully surprised. Our guide Robin was truly the best. He had so much information and so much attention to detail. We were expecting a short tour with the basics, and it ended up being a 2 1/2 hour walk through the whole finca, Robin pointed out so many different things to help us gain knowledge and experience on coffee growing. He took his time and then another other group that was behind us caught up with us and he just allow them to go through and move on so that we could stop and actually taste oranges that he found on an orange tree on the path what a nice thing for him to do. At the end of the tour you go in the house and actually do the process with the coffee that you collected. There’s a coffee tasting that was really really interesting as they also show you how to know the difference between coffees and the way they were made overall an amazing experience, a 5 Star for Robin definitely recommend for anybody visiting whether is family with kids or solos or couples it doesn’t matter. It’s always bound to be a good experience.
