My wife and I recently took Twisted Texas Tour with Pimp Piccadilly and Dan the Music Man. It was OUT THERE!!! We surreptitiously graffitied the side of some random woman's house in SoCo, ate ice cream we didn't pay for, listened to live musical classics that with lyrics that would have made Weird Al blush - we even witnessed a safari animal urinating. By the end of the tour, we began to appreciate Pimp's "sense of humor". Sometimes the finer things in life are an acquired taste. If you want a tour where you learn boring facts and historical figures - take the trolley tour with your grandparents. If you want a tour where you laugh and make a connection with a wonderful city - take the Twisted Texas Tour. It was the most memorable part of our trip - and that means a lot considering Austin is such an unforgettable place. Stay Weird Austin!!!

The tour was fun and informative! The tour guide and driver Kate was great at telling the weird aspects of Austin with fun and flair! Lucinda the musician was great also. What a tag team! Highly recommend the tour!
Super fun way of seeing some of the ‘different’ highlights of Austin. Piccadilly is really knowledgeable about the history and the area, Dan provides awesome entertainment and together made a fun morning adventure.
Hannah and the redheaded comedian driver were absolutely phenomenal. It could not have been a better experience.
It was very disappointing given how much the cost was. We should of just Ubered to the few spots. We seen a few murals, walked across one bridge and spent most of the time driving in traffic, hearing them sing 3 songs in total. Most of the time was spent listening to them complain about political views and especially their financial positions in the world or lack there of money which made it awkward. The big highlight was stopping for a $5.00 ice cream. Again just uber there for this price.
We wanted to do a “ keep Austin weird tour” that wasn’t as traditional, and not with a huge group. The air conditioned van holds a maximum of 12 guests which is perfect to make it more personal and fun. Our tour guide pimp Piccadilly doesn’t disappoint keeping the information interesting instead of dryly sharing historical facts. Lucinda’s guitar playing and songs were very funny while also sharing information about the city. We made some stops along the way for photo opportunities and learned things we would’ve likely never know about Austin. Highly recommend!
Such a great and entertaining tour around Austin. We had so much fun! I would 100% recommend for family and friends.
A friend from out of state and i spent a night in downtown Austin and went on this tour that picks up at the Austin Visitor center. Pimp Picadilly and Clint Manning were our driver and musician for this small van tour. Otherwise we had a total of 6 tourists. We visited a wall art location we were allowed to write on, crossed the walking bridge at Ladybird lake, enjoyed rice ice cream at a local women's business and learned fun facts about glthe weirdness (aka buy local) city including unusual laws on the books. So fun recommended!
Pimp Picadilly and Clint Manning were fun and fabulous. The tour was worth the price and we had a great group of tourists join us. The pick up location was perfect, while we were staying at the Driskil Hotel downtown Austin. We got to hear from fun tales of the city and learned what "Keep Austin Weird" means. Our guides were knowledgeable of the area and talented with a guitar. Recommended!
Awesome and funny tour guides. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Austin The stops were awesome
Great bus tour. Pimp Piccadilly and his guitar player were very entertaining! We wanted to see the city, but weren’t sure where to go. This tour was perfect and loads of fun!! Very much worth it if you’re new to Austin!!
The tour was just what we wanted, laid back, silly and creative. Pimp took us all over Austin to some of the craziest places. Would definitely recommend for those seeking and usual adventure.
I had a great time on this eclectic tour, which provided a great overview of Austin history, lore, culture, and current events. The tour took us all around the city, including places you'd expect on any Austin tour, along with some more off-the-beaten-path parts of town. We got off at a couple of stops for some quick activities, which added to the whole experience. Our guide, PP, was very entertaining, knowledgeable, and affable, and our on-board musician Dan provided a nice blend of classic tunes and fun parodies. While the $60 price tag felt a little steep, I'm glad I took this tour. I'd recommend taking it early during your visit to Austin to get a lay of the land and make notes of where you might like to return later.
This tour was so much fun! Danielle was a great driver with such fun tidbits about Austin’s history. Lucinda added the perfect touch with her festive songs also about Austin’s history. Loved them both, highly recommend this tour.
Great tour. Danielle and Dan were great. We had a party of 8. We got to see take pic. Would definitely do it again. Started on time. We got to stop and take pics. Very friendly
Kip was very friendly and was great at giving us a heads up on all the stops and food. It was nice to see parts of Austin we would not normally go to. All the food trucks were really fun and definitely reflected the cool, laid back vibe of Austin. Downsides: the dessert was pretty mediocre. I’m sure there’s better options. Other food tours we’ve been on in different cities gave more of a history or background of the city and given the cost of this one, we expected the same. That wasn’t the case here.
What a great and unique way to see the city! We had a great time!!! See what makes Austin so special!
Excellent tour! Pimp Piccadilly and Dan had a natural ability to get the group laughing and their sense of humor and musical approach kept us all engaged, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed what they do. It wasn’t just about having fun. Piccadilly was super knowledgeable and passionate, striking the perfect balance between education and entertainment. They found comedic ways to bring history and culture to life without it ever feeling dry or boring. So fun!
My sister and I loved the Twisted Texas tour with Piccadilly and Lucinda! They were so much fun and we got to see all the sites we were looking forward to! Highly recommend 🙂
The bus was hot and the AC was not working properly. It was about 110 degrees outside. Would have been great if they had a cooler with bottles of water for everyone - other guests were asking for water. Dan the musician was great - has a nice voice and added a fun element to the ride. The disappointing part was that the tour is advertised from 1-330pm, and we ended early at 307pm. Left us feeling like we didn't get our full moneys worth. Would have been nice if we could have driven around South Congress more to add on some time, or stop at more than one of their famous murals around town for a photo opp.
This was my 1st trip to Austin and really didn't know much about the city, history, food or culture. The driver of the van was so informative and friendly. He did a great jo of showing us fun places to visit while in the city. There was also a singer that played guitar and took pics!
We had trouble parking -- Austin half-marathon barriers -- but notified the tour driver that we'd be a few minutes late. He knew we were on our way. Even though we paid a lot of money, we totally understand that the guide cannot hold up the tour. We called 10 times so he could tell us where to meet at 2nd or 3rd stop. Didn't pick up or return call til tour was half over and too late for us to join. Wasted our afternoon and they provided a partial refund.
What a great time with Blue Bonnet Benny and Lucinda Music. They were fun, informative and musically talented. Lots of good stops with photo ops along with a walk across the pedestrian bridge. AND a delicious ice cream stop! They were a lot of fun. Two thumbs up!
Fun way to kill an hour but don’t expect too much! We had some time before our dinner reservations and decided to try this.
What a great few hours to see Austin. Pimp Piccadilly and Joe were fantastic tour guides. Very funny and passionate about Austin. Great recommendations. The tour lasted over three hours and flew by. What a fun tour.
It was a very entertaining and informative tour. Darwin and Dan has given us a nice treat! We enjoyed the tour and we highly recommend it.
My friends and I had great time touring Austin with Darwin and Dan. They were entertaining. We enjoyed the ice cream too. We might have enjoyed visiting more of UT Austin. But that’s just us.
The guys were great. Loved the original songs too. We were able to get out of the van and experience a lot of the local landmarks and take photos.
Visited Austin for the first time for just one day with my daughter and booked the Twisted Texas Tour as thought it would be fun for both of us. This tour went beyond our expectations!! The two tour guides, one that sings with her guitar, were extremely knowledgeable about Austin and personable. The van was comfortable, and we had the opportunity to get off to explore and take pictures many times during the tour. I felt like we truly got the feel for Austin and what there was to see and do after the tour. And the tour even ended with an ice cream treat. Highly recommend the Twisted Texas Tour to enjoy your time in Austin!!!
Everything was great! Lots of fun! Easy to find. On time. Friendly. Full of energy. Knowledgeable. Gave good advice for other activities. Thank you for making our weekend in Austin fun and memorable
Your overall was good and showed cool fun stuff. Guide mentioned things when we’d already passed them and the can used isn’t the best for this kind of tour.
Tour was a little different than expected due to Veterans Day parade and multiple street closures but worked out well and saw all the highlights- great guides very personable and knowledgeable
This tour was full of energy and fun! Rain bow was full of information, lots of personality, and she drove safe. Hanna Marie was very talented (she sang to us and played the guitar), and she was very personable when escorting us around. Both had such a good banter between them and got the whole bus involved in the tour. We saw some quirky and cool murals, had a nice walk across the bridge, and even got some ice cream at the end. Would highly recommend this tour for a fun way to learn more about Austin.
Rain bow and Hanna Marie were GREAT! We had a wonderful time and learned some interesting facts about Austin! Love that it’s a woman-owned and operated!! Love the weirdness of Austin! Thank you. 😊 ❤️ from Tennessee
Amber was such an incredible wealth of knowledge about the city. Made it feel like you were talking with a relative visiting their favorite city! Highly recommend for newbies in Austin!
Went with a bachelorette trip and it was so much fun! The live music was incredible and the food and drinks were delicious!
Red Ryder was an amazing tour guide. She showed us really fun unique restaurants and food trucks that we would not have found on our own. She also gave us great info about the city. I would highly recommend her.
Amber and Lucinda were great! Would recommend! They were very kind and knowledgeable and knew all the great recommendations!
Amber & Lucinda were wonderful tour guides! Both were knowledgeable, informative and great fun! And Lucinda’s musical accompaniments were perfect! She has a wonderful voice. I highly recommend this tour!
Amber and Lucinda were amazing guides. They were funny kind and entertaining. Already bragged to a bunch of people on how great this tour was!
An Entertaining tour of Austin by delightful tour guides who sang, provided humor and a sweet treat!
Great tour with the kids! The guides were knowledgeable and fun. They provided an overview of key Austin neighborhoods and facts.
Tour was a pleasant low key way to get a taste of "Austin Weird".Fun time! Amanda and Lucinda were great!
Amber and Cliff (or was it Clint?)aka Little Willie we’re awesome! Amber has a great personality and she is very funny. She is also very knowledgeable about Austin and is a proud Texan. Little Willie had great songs, with clever lyrics set to great vintage tunes. A very fun afternoon!
I booked the Weird Austin private tour as a team-building activity for a business meeting. We had a blast! The guide was very friendly, engaging, and accommodating and the live music made the experience feel extra special. We all learned a lot about each other and the city of Austin. 10/10 - Highly recommend!
Loved the walk across the lake and music from our co-guide. Ice cream was a real treat and history an added bonus
This a fun way to tour Austin. Amber and Lucinda are fun, funny and punny. Despite coming across some surprise construction detours Amber made sure we still got see all of the sites all the while explaining the history and weirdness in a fun way. Lucinda was great with her witty and catchy ditties.
Blue & Lucinda were fantastic tour guides & kept us informed & entertained the entire time. Lots of fun.
None, the tour guides tried to make it a silly party rather than an interesting tour. For example, at the Littlefield Fountain, we were explaining to the tour guide what it was.
We loved stopping at all the beautiful murals. The tour was structured so the guide would share information while driving then we’d get to experience the areas at the stops and along the ride. The guides were energetic and engaging. They were also happy to give recommendations of things to do and places to see that weren’t on the tour for Austin visitors.
