The Galveston Cemetery Tour - Walk With The Dead!

My husband and I went on Halloween night with The Lady In Black!!’ We didn’t realize we got anything until the next morning!!! Some of the history is very heartbreaking but I would absolutely go again!

I loved the clear communication between the company and us. I knew exactly where to go. If you’re worried about standing and walking? It’s minimal, just go. She had lots of fun little stories. It was a great Halloween activity. The only thing I was unprepared for was the mosquitoes. Long pants and long sleeves and problem is solved. Thats on me:) I recommend and would do it again.

Annette was super sweet and funny and would definitely recommend her as a tour guide. She gave very detailed stories about certain graves and she also cleans up and restores graves in her free time which shows that she really cares about people and what she does, we loved it! We got to see some orbs in the photos that we took which was super cool as well. Definitely recommend this tour if you like to be just a little bit spooked!

This was one of the worst tours I’ve ever been on. From the very beginning, the tour guide was rude and unwelcoming. While we were outside the cemetery gates checking in, I was sharing a story with one of my friends and the guide rudely interrupted to tell me, “This is her show, and if I wanted to do my own show, I could do it somewhere else.” This was completely uncalled for, especially since I genuinely didn’t realize the tour had already started. We were still outside the gates, and everyone was checking in. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get any better once we entered the cemetery. The guide spent at least 30 minutes sitting and talking, and we barely walked through the cemetery at all. We stayed near the front for most of the tour, which was incredibly boring and far from what I expected. The guide repeatedly emphasized respecting the dead, yet there was no disrespectful behavior happening. The overall tone felt unnecessarily harsh and made the experience uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. I expected an engaging, interesting ghost tour with stories, exploration, and a welcoming atmosphere. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. The guide’s attitude and the lack of actual touring made this experience a complete letdown.

Annette was an awesome, very knowledgeable guide. We really enjoyed our time with her.

Great family, spooky adventure. Full of historical information .I didn’t realize there was so many different cemeteries in one area.

The tour was full of history about the cemetery and some people buried there. The Lady in Black knows and loves the cemetery. Her respect for the people buried there was very apparent. I did notice a problem with vandalism and destruction to many headstones. It was apparent they were purposely broken! This is a must go on tour!!!

Annette our tour guide was great.She told us so many stories about the people who are buried in the cemetery and the history of the 1900 storm.My wife did get some pics of some orbs and I saw a shadow figure and heard foot steps near me. Definitely would do the tour again.

This was so much fun. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging. She cared so much about the information she shared. It was entertaining and well worth the price!

This was such a great purchase! Not only do you learn about Galveston history and lore but you may capture a few ghosts in photos. 10/10 experience. Will recommend to everyone!

I absolutely love the tour and Annie was a great tour guide! She answered all the questions. My fiancé and I had and talked through good amount of gravesites in our time span. She was very engaging and excitable, which made us engaged and ready to learn. She brought waters and bug spray which is very much appreciated in the heat of July. 10/10 would recommend! I do think it a bit overpriced per person, but I enjoyed myself nevertheless.

We brought our teens and their friends for a tour on a quick summer trip. We all enjoyed Ms. Annette as our guide. She did a wonderful job and is very knowledgeable of the area and cemetery. Even my teens afterwards told us they enjoyed it. She is sweet and relatable. We would definitely take this tour again.

Absolutely loved this tour. So many interesting things to learn. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and an absolute delight. My kind of woman.

Incredible tour guide. So knowledgeable about the history and the cemetery, and absolutely an awesome tour! Thoroughly recommend. A real historian giving such a level of detail. Very kid friendly. Both had a blast, my 14 year old with the ghosts, my 5 year old with the flowers in the cemetary! Also, including 2 photos taken less than a second apart. Zoom in on the green circle. Nothing there, then 0.5 second later a bright light and it looks like something is holding it!

We had so much fun! Learned a lot and enjoyed the phenomenal stories. We’re avid ghost tour travelers and have been all over TX. This was our first tour in Galveston and highly recommend. I also took my kids ages 16, 7 and 9 and it was appropriate for them. The youngest got scared a few times, but loved learning and the group was great for all ages.
