Taco 'Bout Austin Bicycle Tour

Trey was our guide and one of the best ive had. Trey picked great breweries and even better taco spots. Bikes were well maintained. Well done.

The bike ride around the city was so much fun and easy! Trey took us to some fantastic spots to give us a better understanding of the history of Austin. He also took us to two spots for some of the best tacos I’ve had and a few breweries with some tasty beer! This is a must do when visiting Austin! Trey was an outstanding guide!!

We had a great after with Jake. It was a perfect mixture of history, tacos and beer. The spots he chose were great. This is a great way to see a lot of downtown Austin as well as try different things. Highly recommend.

Great tour! Got to see a few good landmarks in the city and got some good tacos. Jake did a great job and even gave us some recommendations for other things to do! There were some great opportunities for photo-ops, too. I particularly liked the second taco stop and the breweries, and the playlist with songs from local artists was a nice touch. I think the only thing that would have improved the experience is having slightly fewer people. 15 was too many.

Jakub was awesome and it was a great day for a bike ride! People here are fun and friendly, and the time on the tour flew by. It was great to explore the city and get some interesting history information with great music along the way.

Wonderful way to spend a few hours touring the city and seeing spots we typically wouldn’t come across. Three brewery stops included to cool off and take a break, and it wasn’t too strenuous of a ride either, so good for most ages. Our tour guide, Jake, was phenomenal! Super chill and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We almost didn’t make it for our booking and I’m so glad it worked out. We’ve done several food tours and guided tours, and this was probably the most enjoyable one I’ve done. It ended up just being my husband and I for this group, and Jake felt like being along with a friend. He was so personable and gave a great mix of historical info with personal recommendations. I also think they have planned the perfect route for this tour. It’s enough to actually see a bit of the area and enjoy the breeze, but brief enough for just about anyone to handle. The beer/taco stops were great! If you’re on the fence about the physical component, you’re in good hands.

Bottom line Trey was awesome. Very knowledgeable, engaging, spirited and played great tunes! I would strongly recommend this bike tour!

The tour was so fun, felt safe riding around the city, our guide Jake took good care of us, showed us nice places and took us for delicious drinks, what ever your level of riding is you will definitely enjoy it!

Jake was an outstanding bike tour host! We had a fantastic time exploring the city, learning along the way, and enjoying craft beers at local breweries. One of the highlights for me was visiting the Texas State Cemetery, which made the experience even more memorable. This tour was a thoughtful and special birthday gift from my husband, making the day even more meaningful.

Jakub was a blast to ride around with! We did this tour for a bachelorette weekend and he was very fun to ride and drink with :) the bikes were in great condition and the tour was easy riding for a group of mixed activity levels. I highly recommend this company and Jakub as a tour guide!

I did the bike and brew tour and loved every minute of it! Our tour guide, Colt, gave a brief history of some Austin landmarks and took us to some excellent breweries. The group I was in was awesome and we ended up going to one of the breweries together after the tour was over! I highly recommend this tour.

We went on the Bike and Brew tour with Colt, We had a great time, tacos were amazing, beer was fantastic and Ar-Modelo's were a fun surprise! Colt offered up fun tidbits about Austin history in a laid-back style. We'd recommend it to everyone looking for a fun afternoon.

We took a 12:00 PM brewery/taco/art mural tour with Colt. The bike and helmet were provided. The biking itself was pretty easy, which I had worried about for no reason. We snapped photos of the art murals and stopped by a few breweries. Passed through the quaint neighborhoods and up and coming areas. Had some tacos and beer along the way, even stopped for some ice cream! It was nice to get some activity by biking during vacation. Colt moved at a pace that was comfortable for all of 4 of us and asked our preference of where we wanted to go and if we wanted to move on, he was kind and easy going. The people at all our stops, especially Hops and Grain Brewery, were also friendly. Definitely recommend this tour!

Adam did a fabulous job taking 4 history buffs on this tour. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We all learned a great deal and had a terrific time!! He was celebrating his birthday which made it all the more fun! Definitely take this tour!

4 years ago I was in Austin on a girls trip and we did the brewery and history tour and had a total blast. I was back this weekend with my husband and this was the first thing I booked for us. We did the brewery and farms tour and had a really lovely time. Our guide was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable about all the stops. The tacos, beers and ciders were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would do it again on our next trip to Austin.

It was my friend's dream to ride a tandem bike, so we walked to the location and it was closed! But luckily Adam pulled up a few minutes later and let us rent a bike for an hour anyways and waited until we got back! It was so sweet, and we had a wonderful time! I would completely recommend renting from Bike & Brew ATX!

We did the 4-7pm Bike and Brew tour a Saturday afternoon and it was amazing! We are moderately fit, but still enjoyed the biking aspect. Trace has a GREAT since of humor and gave us an honest and genuine tour as well as some awesome recommendations. You will really enjoy this and the amount of beer provided was great too! Grab a meal before you go, but there are food trucks at some of the breweries as well. All in all this was one of the top tours we did this weekend. We would definitely enjoying biking again. If you are unsure if you want to book, this is me telling you to book it!

We did the brew and chew tour with Trace for one of our day activities during a bachelorette weekend and it was an absolute blast! Adam was super helping during the planning leading up to it, and when we needed to change the number of participants and ask to move the time back 48 hours beforehand, he was a hero in making it happen! Trace was super personable, a great guide, and kept us all entertained. The food and brew stops were all awesome and the biking was justtttt enough to not kill us. Would definitely recommend this tour to any group looking to have a little fun and explore austin on bike while drinking!!

We had the best time on the tour! Trace was a fantastic guide who made it fun, knew a lot about the area, gave good advice for bars to check out, and wasn't pushy about rushing us at each stop. This company/activity is highly recommended. We chose this tour based on the miles and it being easy since we had one friend that was pregnant (she got only food and water, clearly). It was not hard at all. In fact, it was really peaceful going to different urban farms and seeing different farm animals. The beer and food was all really good too. Only comment that I will make is we wish we would've had our guide take more pics for us but that is all. We felt safe riding around in the bike lanes with traffic and crossing streets with Trace. If visiting Austin whether it is your first or 100th, I suggest looking into doing the ATX Bike and Brew tour on the east side.

If I could give Adam and Bike and Brews 6 stars, I would!!! He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about Austin's history. The tour was great to start the weekend in Austin- Adam had many tips for where to go and how to plan our weekend. He was personal guide for Austin's must-see spots. If you are ever in Austin, we highly recommend going to bike and brews or other tours offered through Adam's company (Austin Bike Tours & Rentals).

Had an incredible experience with Adam at the helm for the Bike & Chew tour, which covered east Austin. We began and ended at one of my favorite breweries (Hops & Grain), sampled beer and a delicious taco at Lazarus Brewing, checked out cool graffiti in a parking garage, found a new (to me) amazing BBQ truck in Rollin' Smoke BBQ (brisket taco), popped into La Perla for a quick Armadillo, then cooled down at Prohibition Creamery (signature bourbon ice cream w/ a shot of liqueur). I highly recommend Bike and Brew ATX, and can't wait to check out the other tours.
