Sunset Cruise South Padre Island

Only 6 passengers max. We saw a great sunset, dolphins, and parts of the gulf other boats can't reach. Boat was a little challenging to board and get off. That was the only negative. Captain was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

The boat tour was an awesome experience. It was too crowded. The boat captain was super nice and shared with us great details and stories about the area. He even stopped the boat, turned around and fished a lady passenger's hat that had flown off. It was our wedding anniversary, so it was a beautiful way to top off the day. Oh and seeing all the dolphins swim around us was great too. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a very nice experience aboard this boat. The captain was very informative and gave us all kinds of information about South Padre Island. The sunset was beautiful. We would highly recommend this sunset cruise.

We actually saw dozens of dolphins. It was like they were putting on a show for us. I would have say that the entire excursion was quite the adventure. Had to tell myself a couple of times, big boats have come a long way since the posiedon adventure (LOL). Brady and his associate were more than professional and they both were extremely knowledgeable about entire ecosystem. The sunset on the turn for home is breathtaking.

Great evening cruise. Captain was very well versed in the local history and upcoming developments in the area. Definitely well worth the cost. Beautiful boat!

Nice smooth ride with friendly informative guides. New boat was nice, smaller group was perfect. Went by other boats and they were packed. SO very Happy ours was a more intimate experience, with 10 couples was perfect. Thank you.

We had an amazing time on the Sunset Cruise! We saw Space X, dolphins and learned a lot about SPID! I will recommend this Sunset Cruise to everyone I know!

Wonderfull and memorable experience. The boat is extremely spacious and clean. The tour guide was very friendly and very well versed with background information of all the areas toured. Beautiful sunset scenery toward the end of the tour. Truly recommend to all.

Great , trip …looked and was way more comfortable that the over crowded dolphin tour , clean boat , great guys , lots of history info , dolphins everywhere..a must do 🤘 thanks guys , we had a blast ..until next time my friends ✌️

The pontoon boat is very steady and smooth. The navigators are very familiar with the area and spot the best wildlife and dolphins. We even saw the launch for Space Ex, which was unexpected and fun (of course from a distance). We loved this trip

Fun informative boat tour with a view of dolphins and a sunset photo opt at the end. The captain and crew member were also entertaining and ensured we were able to take photos with the view of the sunset in the background.

Very knowledgeable staff and was an excellent experience. The photos that we were able to take on the tour were stunning.

Experience was great, the guide played great music and turned it down when speaking about certain educational sights. Loved everything about it! Ill be going again

It was just alright. I think $45 a person is over priced for a 1hr 15 minute boat ride with a little commentary here and there. Mostly blasting music

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He spent a lot of time where dolphins were but that was awesome because we all enjoyed watching them!!

Horrible. We never got to get on the boat. Way to much political propaganda worshipping Donald Trump. The operator taunted us with his love of Donald Trump and tried to intimidate us. We went for a relaxing enjoyable cruise and not a Trump political rally. The restaurant associated with the cruise had a life size cardboard cutout of Donald Trump and a had expressing their love of Donald Trump and guns. As an "African-American I could not get on a boat with people who may be white supremist or KKK.

Informative. Fun. Captain shared info and local history, as well as answering so many questions. You shouldn't miss this.

Tie your hair up lol. We had a wonderful time! Brady was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Great guide, great tour! Thank you SPI Excursions! We would highly recommend this activity!

It was a great experience. Unfortunately the sky was cloudy right at sunset but at least we got to see plenty dolphins

Horrible!!!!! Do not be 4 minutes late!!! Staff very rude, told I was late and asked could I read instructions. Trump flags everywhere. I look foreign but I was serotyped. Lost $180 from being 4 minutes late to a place that didn’t have anyone before or after us booked. Please Do Not Go Here!!!!!!

Our captain was great! We saw many dolphins and he was extremely knowledgeable of the Laguna Madre and the area. It was a perfect size with just 8 of us on the cruise.

We had an exceptional, very informative captain that showed us all around the bay area including the jetties, Starlink missile sight, Brownsville channel, and dolphin viewing. I would highly recommend this. Paul

It was amazing got to see another view of the island you cant do from a car or by walking. Bring a hoodie

Love the small boat for a more laid back, intimate experience than the bigger party boats. Brady, our captain, was awesome! (It was his birthday and the other boats honked for him!) Very personable and knowledgeable about the area. He answered everyone’s questions and took his time when folks wanted to slow down and take photos. We saw tons of dolphins, a beautiful sunset, and a foggy view of SpaceX. Would definitely recommend!

My humans I went on this tour for our anniversary and it did not disappoint!! We saw no less than 10 dolphins within 30 minutes of the tour starting!! The sunset was perfect!!

Unfortunately, it was overcast for our sunset cruise but we still had a great time! Chapo was an awesome captain and took us out to a great spot where we were able to see numerous dolphins almost directly next to the boat. Chapo was super knowledgeable about the island and overall we had a great time! I would definitely recommend this experience and would love to do it again (hopefully with the sunset) the next we visit SPI.
