Disappointing Land surrounding the house have been sold therefore didn't look as grand. Still confused regarding the tour as the interior of the house is different to the show as filming didn't happen there

Our second stop is Pioneer Plaza, a stunning outdoor sculpture park featuring larger-than-life bronze statues of cattle, cowboys, and pioneers. Learn about Dallas's Western heritage and take memorable photos with these captivating sculptures. and much more.
Then we will transport you to the world of the Ewings.
.Explore the Southfork Ranch, known as a set for the TV show 'Dallas'. Take home some collectibles from the “Ranch Round-Up” store in the visitor’s center where you’ll find a wide assortment of items seen on the show and worn by the cast. Enjoy a guided train from the Visitor’s Center to the Ewing Mansion that will not only provide you with a history of the property but will give you a chance to see Texas Longhorns and American Quarter horses. The mansion itself is the next stop on the tour. You’ll hear interesting facts about the filming done there and character insights as you see the “most famous White House” and even J.R. Ewing’s bedroom. After the mansion tour, you can stroll around the ranch and stop at “Lincolns and Longhorns,” where on display you’ll find Jock Ewing’s original 1978 Lincoln Continental as well as “Dallas” inspired clothing and accessories.
Guided Mansion Tour: ~45–60 minutes, which includes a tram ride from the Visitor's Center.
Guests will spend approximately 1 hour 30–45 minutes at Southfork Ranch. This includes the guided tour of the iconic Ewing Mansion, where you'll explore the famous rooms and hear stories from the Dallas TV series, followed by free time to explore the grounds at your own pace. Heather was very good and professional, she showed us and explained clearly the points of interest in Dallas, she got us to our next stop of Southfork Ranch in plenty of time for our time slot.
It was nice to see Southfork but the entrance fee is $25 each and our price was £275 so I think it’s a rip off
Simple enough if you have a short time in Dallas. I would of liked more time in Southfork Ranch if you were hooked on the series as much as me. Tour guide at Southfork Ranch very good. No fault of the tour guide to and from Dallas. Sadly it was raining when we went although no fault of the tour guide.
I was blown away by our Tour guide John, his Knowledge of JFK shooting in Dallas was very comprehensive, he had the best stories to tell on many other personal experiences whilst living in the United States.. The Southfork tour itself which is hosted by Southfork staff, was far from what a die hard fan of the show would hope for, the Ranch and the house are tired and unkept the whole experience shattered my memories of Dallas the TV show, you will learn nothing new about the show or the cast that you will already know as a fan, there are no photos that you haven’t already seen, and there are no clothes belonging to any of the cast, member’s , The first contact with a Southfork staff member who was called Michael was the rudest man I have ever encountered.. I would definitely go on other tours with Viator but definitely not Southfork.
Rather underwhelming tour. 13 of us in the mini van, we were sat on the back row , very uncomfortable , felt trussed like a turkey! Our guide never told us his name .. he dropped us at the visitor centre . He didn’t give us a pick up time .. South Fork Tour, the guide spent about 15 minutes with us , then we wandered around the property. I am a big fan of Dallas so was naturally disappointed. Only the filming of Dallas was done outside the house, as the cameras were too big to fit in the corridors inside. For the cost not good value for money.
See title for the review………..,,
Well worth the money and our guide and driver Orlando was excellent
My second time at Southfork Ranch. Even though yes it’s smaller than you expect, there’s a nice energy about the place. It’s definitely worth checking out. I just wish they hadn’t sold off 200 acres of the land as now you can’t do horseback riding there and having a housing development next door will make the ranch less special.
An excellent experience from start to finish, being collected early Orlando was very informative, excellent tour.
A great experience with our guide for the day, Dan ! His passion , knowledge and friendliness was exceptional . We were picked up on time and Dan took the opportunity to set the scene for the day . Dans knowledge around the events of JFKs assassination was unmatched and although his views regarding the fateful day were apparent he was also willing to listen to alternative views . He didn’t only talk to us about the excursion he also recommended other activities for us to do throughout our stay . The time taken to the Southfork ranch was filled with interesting stories and tales from around Dallas including one about Dans mother being on a couple of episodes of Dallas . I would strongly recommend this trip but I’d also suggest you ask for Dan the man to be your guide !
Wonderful guide so much good information and so much fun.
My wife and I are both handicapped. We were taken from the Ranch House to the Museum by tram with no transportation back.
William was very informative on the history of Dallas and the JFK assassination. Enjoyed stops at the Bronze Cattle Drive and Pioneer Plaza also. Really enjoyed visiting Southfork and getting background to the ranch and the Dallas TV Series.
Orlando our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We toured Dallas in a mini van before going to South Fork. The tour was great and we got time to wander round ourselves which we appreciated.
Dan was super friendly and a great photographer! He was very informative and shared some photos of his Mother, whose story was linked to Dallas. He is both very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Dallas. This tour is well worth doing, you get to see downtown Dallas and South Fork.
The tour guide was very friendly and provided us with a very personal and informative tour both of Dallas and the Southfork Ranch. We greatly enjoyed it.
It was very informative, but a bit long ( Dallas history portion). I think it could have been shortened . I loved seeing Southfork and learning about it
Genuinely feared for our lives when travelling back from Southfork. We were driven at dangerously high speed, well exceeding limits, with no regard to safety.
Preston our guide was very knowledgable. Started with JFK memorial and the shooting spot, answered all our questions and more ,then over to pioneer plaza to see the bronze longhorn sculptures, past the giant eyeball and then over to Southfork ranch. Left for around 90 minutes, enough time to see the house and take plenty of pics
Southfork Ranch/Ewing Mansion excursion was just like advertised. Actually a bit more as it included also a short Dallas city tour. Good price, highly recommended.
We were advised that the tour was cancelled. We were very disappointed because that was one of the reasons we came to Dallas. We were not given an explanation and not able to reschedule.
Travelled to Dallas especially to take this tour. Two hours before the start I received a call to say it was cancelled due to low bookings. Day ruined. Warning of possible cancellation should be given at time of booking. Refund received.
Aug 27th - Isaac was a fantastic tour guide, so knowledgeable about the Dallas area and the history of the JFK shooting. Could not fault his hospitality. He was an excellent driver, consummate professional and really went out of his way for us, we felt very comfortable with him and had a good laugh too. Would highly recommend.
William our tour guide was absolutely brilliant! His passion for the JFK experience was outstanding and really brought the story to life!. Southfork Ranch was great to see too
Great tourguide Dan with a lot of interesting historic facts about JFK and the city of Dallas. Southfork is a must see for every Dallas fan
We got a great tour from Dan showing us the sights and a bit of history about the town. Dan had extensive knowledge of the city, and the Southfork ranch was amazing to see and walk around. We were also accompanied on the tour by Issac, who was a very informative and pleasant young lad.
Amazing so much to see and do and peaple are just the best there. It’s amazing it really is. So much to see in only 3 weeks. South folk. AT&T Stadium Tour JFK historic places.
Dan was very helpful with sorting our booking when there was a problem with the computer systems. We ended up doing two tours and he was the guide on both ! We found him very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic… would highly recommend these tours Deb, Rob and Michelle (England)
Very interesting if you’re a Dallas fan! The guide was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of time for pictures.
Welll worth the tour if you were a Dallas tv watcher, Dan was a great and very informative tour guide. Highly recommend the tour.

Very fun tour. Enjoyed the Dallas downtown part. Our guide Orlando was excellent. Very knowledgable and fun (excellent playlist!).
Great tour! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable & passionate about Kennedy. Definitely recommend!
Enjoyed the tour. The guide had good stories to tell. Preston our guide that drove was very intresting.
A knowledgable and informative guide showing you around the hightlights of Dallas and out to Southfork You are met at the JFK memorial and taken to the hightlight of Dallas with informative backgound information on each with time to take some photos.
I grew up in the 1980s as a teenager watching Dallas & have rewatched the series a number of times as an adult; so speaking as a lifelong fan of the show, I absolutely loved this tour! Getting to tour the grounds and the house - inside and out - was a dream come true! There is a museum included on the grounds as well, which had a lot of neat items and photographs were allowed, and indeed encouraged! As a solo traveler to the Dallas area w/out a rental car, the cost of the tour with the shuttle van was well-worth the price as Southfork is quite a distance outside of Dallas. The tour included many details and sites related to the JFK assassination; and while that wasn't MY main focus or reason for taking the tour, the information was very interesting, detailed, enthralling & presented with great storytelling gusto! So I found myself surprisingly quite intrigued with that part of the tour also! I highly recommend this tour. It was a very enjoyable experience all the way around!
We are visiting family and McKinney TX and felt this was a nice little side trip/visit! Take the tour. Carol our guide was fun and sure knew her details in the TV show Dallas and many of the characters/actors and ranch owners.
An amazing experience We have a good guide, Daniel very funny and passionned Thank you to him Sophie
Great little trip out to Southfork well worth a visit , William was our guide and gave us a good insight into the history of Dallas & Texas showing us some sights along the way. Would highly recommend
Grossly overpriced, driver was dangerous , very erratic and terrible road rage , not worth the money
Daniel was excellent tour guide great subject knowledge and very warm kind personality . In our humble Irish opinion he was born for this role. Thank you Johnaton
Our tour guide Dan, was very knowledgeable about several historical factors. I recommend booking with him, as it makes the tour special. Would recommend taking this tour.
The trip was cancelled last minute, but the company was nice enough to let me know. I managed to set up a trip last minute.
I Always Enjoy This Tour I Done It Several Times Through The Years This Was My Favorite My Guide Chris Was Amazing And Very knowledgeable.
We were so pleased to have Dan as our tour guide for the JFKHighlights and South Ranch tour. It was an enjoyable few hours with Dan who was extremely knowledgeable , full of energy, humor and you could tell was so excited to share all his history knowledge with us! Amazing how much new information we were given by his remarkable way to teach us. The tour was the perfect length!
Dan was our tour guide and made it a fun and interesting day. He has great knowledge of the Kennedy assassination but didn't get lost in minutia. He also gave us a nice tour of Dallas, informing us about the past and present. Very interesting. The South Fork tour was great, as it was like stepping back in time to see the 70s and 80s. Reminded me of a Graceland tour. But ask for Dan. He sells it.
An amazing tour! Dan, the super passionate tour guide was very attentive all the time and gave us great information about JFK. I totally recommend this tour!
Really good and informative tour. Orlando was a great tour guide. We learned lots about Dallas and so many other facts.
It was wonderful to see the Ranch after being huge fans of the show. Our tour guide Dan was awesome, engaging and knowledgeable.
