Our tour guide, William, was one of the best we have ever had. Knowledgeable, entertaining, and very friendly. We were very impressed and would highly recommend him. Unfortunately, we do not remember the name of the tour company.
Dan is a great guide. He’s knowledgeable, personal and professional. I learned a lot from the tour and I couldn’t recommend him and the company anymore. If I’m ever back in town, I will absolutely look into another tour with them first and foremost.
The first part of the tour was really good. We enjoyed the JFK Memorial and the discussion of the day of the assassination. And we really enjoyed Thanksgiving Square, the eye, and Reunion Park, and the longhorn statues. Going to City Market was ok, especially as a bathroom stop. Other than Down Elum, we did not enjoy the drive through neighborhoods after City Market. The driver knows a lot, but I don't need to know the year, the person who built or lived there for home after home. Two people on our tour actually went to sleep and I almost nodded off as well. Believe me, as a long time educator, less is more. I will never remember all of the minutiae and don't need to hear it all. However, I would like to have heard about how oil became king in Dallas as part of its history.
Everyone needs to take this tour. We’ve traveled all over the USA in the past and always take a tour wherever we are. Undoubtedly this was the best tour ever. Preston, our guide was so informative, knowledgeable and very likable. The tour itself was not rushed nor boring with several points of interest, even a few stops along the way, one being The Dallas Farmer’s Market for a stretch or a quick bite. Exceptional small group tour in an air conditioned mini van. Highly recommended.
Kinney was an awesome guide. He was at the meeting point early and greeted me immediately. Very knowledgeable of Dallas' history and showed us many sites making me want to return to Dallas for more.
First trip into DFW area and was in town for a conference. Booked this trip with a few coworkers and got a ton of history into Dallas, from the start of it all to present day. Was perfect amount of time without being overloaded with information. Tour guide was personable and really in depth with the information.
Our Hop-On Hop-Off tour in Dallas was an absolutely wonderful experience, and a big part of that was our tour guide, Kenny. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative by sharing interesting facts and stories about the city. Despite the hot Texas weather, Kenny went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. He provided cold bottled water and handheld fans, which were such thoughtful touches and made a huge difference throughout the tour. What impressed us the most was his kindness and professionalism. Kenny was warm, considerate, and genuinely cared about his guests. He always opened the van door for us, making everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. His courteous and gentlemanly attitude truly stood out and made our experience even more memorable. If you're planning to explore Dallas, I highly recommend the Hop-On Hop-Off tour—especially if you're lucky enough to have Kenny as your guide. He truly goes the extra mile to ensure every guest has an enjoyable and comfortable experience!
Our tour guides Kenny and Dan were amazing!! Knowledgeable and engaging and made it a lot of fun.
It was the most informative tour I’ve ever taken. The sights where awesome and well explained. Need a better parking option
The guide was knowledgeable about the city, but I feel there was so many stops on his route that he rushed through it and I got a bit confused.
This is a must to do. It was an eye opener. Our guide was great and knowledgeable on Dallas history.
We had a great tour with Anna. She was friendly and knowledgeable and we felt we got to know Dallas by the end of the trip. Highly recommended!
Driver was Friendly and . Knowledgeable. He gave very good account of Texas and the Dallas area history.
This tour was well worth every minute. From the beginning to the end. Organized, informative, and fun for our group of young and old. I never knew Dallas had so many things to do. Now we do.
The tour was very nice, Our guide was informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. This was my first time in a van tour like this. My only disappointment was the inability to get an open view of the sights, which is obviously not the fault of the tour company.
Be prepared to listen and get in and out of van. Limited restroom opportunities. Neat way to see a lot of things in Dallas in a short period of time.
Informative driver, he had alot of knowledge about the town. We had a small group which made it very interactive, we even enjoyed a joke or two.
Dan was entertaining, personable and knowledgeable. He spoke clearly and at a good pace, considerate of the age range of our group. We all appreciated the photos he showed us from his iPad to help us visualize the times and historical figures. He took time to ask us about our country’s history too which was appreciated. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you!
Tour was very informative but, failed to cover the points listed on the tour, instead we listened to the guide Dan go to great lengths on his theory of the Kennedy death in Dallas.
Laid back guide, informative and chill. Drove safely around the city, was witty and gave some good jokes , overall made the whole experience comfortable and pleasant.
This was just superb, isac was too good, really because of isac I have the confidence in future tours with viator
We had a wonderful afternoon with John. He was very knowledgeable and shared so much history about the Dallas area. We would highly recommend taking this tour of the city.
I hope you get Preston as your guide. The tour was well thought out and punctual but what made it so much better was the deep knowledge of our guide Preston.
Isaac was very knowledgeable about the history of Dallas as well as all the hidden gems. He took us to all the neighborhoods and even knew some alleyways that had the best murals in Deep Ellum.
Great way to see Dallas. The tour gives you a snippet of everything. Our guide, Christina, was very knowledgeable and fun.
Very happy I chose to take the tour. Isaac was very fun and a lot of knowledge about everything. 3 hours well spent.
Tracy was extremely knowledgeable of Dallas history, museums, cultural and historical sites, restaurants, neighborhoods, etc. We had time to explore Dallas Farmers Market and eat lunch. Tracy is a phenomenal tour guide!
Our tour guide, Preston, was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, and committed to making the tour as personalized and relevant as possible to his guests. He encouraged questions and didn’t waste time with pre-packaged jokey patter like many tour guides do these days. I highly recommend the tour, and Preston.
Tim was wonderful! Very knowledgeable in all things Dallas! Loved all the sights and stops! Highly recommend. Great way to see Dallas and learn about all the architecture and the area!
Dan was a great tour guide! He was funny and knowledgeable. Even though it was down pouring, he still made it a great tour!
This was a great way to see Dallas without having to drive through it ourselves. It was nice to ride in an air conditioned van on a very hot day. Our guide, John, was very informative and answered any questions we had. He had a lot of knowledge of the city, buildings and neighborhoods. It was well worth it!
A great introduction to Dallas. It covered all of the high points and was just what we were looking for.
Great 3 hr Tour of Dallas. Great way to Enjoy the City. I recommend anyone visiting to try n book this 3 hour City Tour.
Technology is taking most people jobs and after this trip I understand more clearly. People don’t know how to just do their job and keep their personal opinions to themselves. Now I also believe that people are way too sensitive these days, but when doing business I, myself learned that you should always do your best to keep politics, race, and religious beliefs out of business. Remember it is a business.
Our guide Preston was very knowledgeable and the information he provided for the stops was insightful.
Preston knew his history and shared so much insight as we toured the local down town area of Dallas. It was a long tour for us to sit since we just flew into the area that morning.
Very informative . The driver was very knowledgeable and the stop at the Dallas farmers market was such a nice initiative
Coming from Australia I didn't know very much about Dallas. The tour was amazing. So much information it was hard to retain it all. Preston was a wealth of knowledge. His life long experience with Dallas make the tour extra special. Thank you so much!
Jon Carlos did a wonderful job! We were visiting Dallas as a family and didn’t know exactly what we should visit. This tour made sure we didn’t miss anything and taught us more about American history!
This tour was awesome. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to listen too! We were two of three travellers so felt very lucky to have all his attention.
Williams description of Dallas was very enjoyable; especially his description of the JFK assassination and the new urban renewal during the last 7 years
What a great way to see all that Dallas has to offer and the abundance of history . Tim the tour guide was exceptional ! Would highly recommend!!
Great tour. William was very informative and provided us with tons of history during our tour. I would take another tour with this company when I am back in town.
Tim was informative and entertaining. It was a great group we met and Tim engaged conversations with everyone.
Great time with Preston! Extended tour if you wish. Enough time to get to know places and history. Pioneer monument and Swiss ave were my favorite places. Dallas is an amazing city, with well diversified population and strong culture heritage. From architectural point of view you have another class. I just missed the AT&T stadium, but this you know before get on board. I recommend this tour and I also recommend Preston as a guide!
John was a wealth of knowledge! He provided context, color, and flexibility at each stop. He was very respectful of all of the diverse backgrounds all tour members. We almost signed up for the next tour but we had plans.
Our tour guide was Dan and he was full of enthusiasm and knowledge about all things Dallas. We learned tons--from the longhorn cattle drive to the somber JFK history, Dan took us all over downtown in his van, navigating the streets and describing everything with great clarity. He made a few stops which were really interesting. He was funny and showed genuine pride in his city. The 3 hours passed quickly and we were happy to have gotten to know him and Dallas!
This wasn’t the sightseeing tour I was looking forward to. I thought I was signing up for a 2 hour carriage ride. I called the tour and they said trip advisor had wrong description. Driver said they no longer do carriage rides. Disappointed
Lots of good information & insight! Enjoyable, good use of time. Liked the small group. Van comfortable and clean. Would do again.
