San Antonio Riverwalk Tour With Cruise

Tristan was amazing, super knowledgeable and entertaining. We hit national landmarks and hidden gems! We would go any tour he led!

Awesome tour. Guide was nice and knowledgeable. The tour covered a good range of areas and really helped give a snapshot of downtown and to orient me to the area. And the Riverwalk is so beautiful!

The tour guide on the walking tour Megan was awesome. She was entertaining, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Also the river cruise was lovely and our guide was humorous and gave great information about the significant sites along the way.

The guide was very knowledgeable. She knew the history of San Antonio. And was able to adjust, our group walked slower. Also knew where.the ramp were to make it easier for the group.

It was a fun and informative little cruise.

Tristan met me promptly at 9AM and we were off to one of the most informative and ground covering tours! He is certainly a wealth of information on the town and its attractions. We covered the Alamo of course and so much more that the area had to offer. We walked through different neighborhoods, visited a church as well as a Cathedral, discussed several sculptures, walked up and down the River Walk, had a great walk through the area the held the 1968 World’s Fair, viewed the area from high above in the observation tower left over from the Fair and learned quite a bit of history on how the town was settled over the years as well as the role the Missions played. I would certainly encourage anyone who wants to enjoy an active role in learning about San Antonio to join Tristan on this tour!

What attracted me in this tour when looking for things to do in San Antonio was the boat cruise. However, the walking part of it was as enjoyable. Our guide Tristan sent us a message the day before letting us know when and where we would meet to start the tour. He also recommended parking places nearby. Even though the tour was packed with historical facts, Tristan kept it light and humorous at times making it the opposite of boring. Not being a native of San Antonio he surely displayed his love and respect to the city and sparked a lot of interest in it. He made sure we got on the boat and kept us entertained while we were waiting to board. It was an amazing experience!

Tristan was excellent as our guide. He was knowledgeable and provided a lot of information on the Alamo, and The Riverwalk with additional History of San Antonio . The day for the walking tour was beautiful, and little hot too but that was Ok. We stopped and bought water and we were on our way to finish our tour. Lots of things to do and many restaurants and stores along the Riverwalk which we were able to visit the next day as well. Thank you Tristan for the wonderful tour and your awesome personality!

I thought I was buying a river cruise only and instead also paid for a walking tour. I was wondering why it was so expensive.

This was a walking tour - only a short boat ride Our tour guide was very friendly and informative but half of us did not realize it was a walking tour!

Dylan was a great tour guide! He provided communication prior to the tour on where to meet and after the tour he provided us a thorough text with recommendations on other stuff to do and places to eat. He was entertaining and very knowledgable. The walking portion of the tour was easy enough and we stopped a bit to talk and look at different locations. The boat ride at the end was a great way to end the tour.

Oh it was fabulous! We ran into one issue of where to catch the boat. However, the staff helped greatly! The driver was professional, kind, knowledgeable and fun! This was for my husband’s bday and he had a BLAST!

Dylan did a great job showing us San Antonio in a short amount of time. He took us to places we might not have seen on our own and gave us background stories we couldn’t have heard without a guide. Great tour for those without a lot of spare time. Boat ride throughout Riverwalk was fun

Our tour guide, Warren, was very knowledgeable of history and very willing to accommodate for the crowd. He made pictures for us as well. Time was perfect with walking tour and boat ride on the river.

We had a really great time on this tour! Tristan was our walking tour guide. He was funny, a great storyteller, and very knowledgeable about the area and landmarks that we saw. He also made sure we were set up for our boat tour at the end, and even sent us a list of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit while we were in San Antonio! We went to one of the restaurants he recommended and it was fantastic. Our boat tour was also super interesting, and showed us a lot about the riverwalk like the Selena Bridge, the Stargazer Statue, and the history of the buildings surrounding the riverwalk.

Should you take the walk, request to have DYLAN to conduct the walk. He was knowledgeable and entertaining

The tour guide was professional, cordial and knowledgeable. Unfortunately we found out very late that it is mostly a walking tour around the city with a 30 minutes river cruise. We were unable to complete the walking part due to excessive heat, and walking limitations. The cruise was very nice and the captain did an excellent job sharing detailed history of events/architectural designs along the river. I suggest a clear description of the tour on the Viator site.

To go in the morning on the hot days. We went in afternoon. Our guide, Dillon , was very mindful keeping us in the shade. He was excellent. Very informative plus flexible when we. We’re concerned about our parking. He gave us great tips on the area on the restaurants and activities etc

This was a really informative and brief walking tour that captures the highlights of the city. Dylan was amazing and was very knowledgeable, and kept the tour interesting with additional fun facts. This tour is highly recommended, especially because it ends with a boat ride on the Riverwalk.

Excellent tours, walking and riverboat. Tristan for the walk was very knowledgeable and engaging. Our boat tour was also great! I think our captain/guide was Barb - she was hilarious as well as informative as we cruised the river.

Excellent trip around the San Antonio River Walk cruise. Captain did a great job explaining everything. Walking tour guide was a delight to talk with and discussing San Antonio’s history.

Tour guide was super friendly and passionate about San Antonio. We went to some great spots. The length of the tour was perfect too--just as it was getting "too hot" it was time for the boat cruise where it was cooler. Overall--great experience for an overview of San Antonio in a quick way.

We started with a tour around the Alamo and some surrounding famous historical hotels. Our tour guide Alfred was very knowledgeable and helpful. We then ended up with a river cruise along the Riverwalk area. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a very nice time with Dylan as our guide. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable on all things San Antonio. We both learned a lot about local history and toured some very cool off the beaten path areas of the city. We then took a boat tour of the River Walk area which also was enjoyable. Dylan was also very helpful recommending local eateries which we enjoyed Pinkertons BBQ especially. Thank you Dylan! Great job!

She was extremely knowledgeable, went the extra mile the entire time, and took tons of pictures for us so we could truly enjoy the experience. She could not have been better!
