San Antonio E-bike Tour: Murals, Street Art And Hidden Gems

Super fun way to learn about San Antonio and its public artists! My tour guide, Annette, made sure that we were safe and was a font of fascinating information about the art, the neighborhoods, and San Antonio culture. I am looking for street art and seeing it differently after having the opportunity to learn from her.

Incredible experience with Annette! If you are in San Antonio, take advantage of this experience. It was such a beautiful way to see parts of the city and its incredible art. Our guide, Annette, was incredibly knowledgable, personable, accommodating, and HILARIOUS! We would do this tour over and over again and loved hearing the story of how Brian started Mural Ride Bike Tours! The experience is also perfect for beginners and e-bike enthusiasts alike. Opt for the 8am option to beat the heat and heavier traffic! This was the perfect way to start our Saturday!

Wow!!!! This was such a fun experience. Brian is super knowledgeable about the city and many parts of its history. The murals were amazing and knowing a bit about the artist and how they came to be was nice to learn on the ride. The bike was fun and easy to manipulate. Brian is safe while riding and knows lots of fun side treks. I will definitely do this again or anything else he has available in the future. Thanks for a nice few hours!!

Highly recommend. I would not have found a lot of the street art without a very knowledgeable guide, and there was a lot! A couple of things I could have done without were the pointing out of every restaurant and bar along the way and the constant photos which my guide took both with her cell phone and her smart glasses. She made it sound like she was taking the photos for me, but I never got any of them. Weird. Also, in retrospect, I probably should have said No to the smart glasses shots. Again, the photos weren't for me apparently so it was all a bit weird. The art was cool, though, and biking through downtown was nice.

Fantastic way to see beautiful parts of San Antonio that most tourists miss. Annette did a wonderful job keep us safe and explaining the wonderful murals along the way. We even got to see a painting in progress! We will book again the next time we are in town. Thanks for a great experience with three teenage boys! Annette was even nice enough to take photos and recommend a great taco spot for lunch! 5 Stars all the way!

Had a great tour of San Antonio with Aaron. The tour was well paced with a bathroom/water break at the halfway point. Lots of cool murals and street art and cruising through cool neighborhoods. The bikes were really nice- with a moto button so you didn't have to pedal much at all if you are less athletic. Definitely recommend to do this early in your trip because I found lots of places that I want to revisit while I'm here.

This was my favorite thing to do in San Antonio. Great way to see things off the Riverwalk. Aaron was an amazing guide. Definitely a must do. Highly recommend

I can’t recommend this e-bike tour highly enough. We have done bike tours around the world (e.g., Austin, Charleston, Buenos Aires, Melbourne) and Brian was the best ever. He gave clear riding instructions (slow down, stopping here, turning left) throughout the tour. He provided lots of history and current status of San Antonio which closely aligned with the murals throughout the city. His restaurant recommendations were spot on. Also the city is really flat and the e-bike ride was very easy, regardless of fitness level. His guidance really set us up for the great 4 days in San Antonio. Don’t hesitate to take this tour!

Our group of four had a tour with Aaron. He was great—talking about the art, the artists, San Antonio, as well as anything else we asked him! Our tour missed a few installations and didn’t go quite as far since the Fiesta parade closed some of the streets, but we didn’t mind. We saw lots of the mural art! The e-bikes were comfortable and zipped us around town without incident. Great way to see parts of the city you might not otherwise. Highly recommend!

This was a very fun and educational way to get to know the downtown area of San Antonio! We even stopped at the Alamo! We are very appreciative of Aaron and Annette for being great tour guides!

Great tour guides and commentary. Food was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide offered to follow up with us that same day with the names of the places we visited as well as other recommendations so that we could make the most of the rest of our week. Unfortunately, he didn’t respond for 4 days, so that was disappointing.

Brian is a very engaging guide and curated a wonderful experience. He pours out his passionate for biking, art, and the city. This was the perfect activity to see the city for a different lens. I am so glad I booked this tour.

A huge shoutout to our guide, Brian. He wasn't just leading a ride; he was storytelling. His knowledge of San Antonio history was impressive, but he really shined when explaining the stories behind the local artists and their murals. He also gave us the "inside scoop" on the city’s local cuisines, pointing out the best spots to eat that aren't on the standard Top 10 lists. You can tell he truly loves this city.

Honestly, the best way to see the city is on a bike. But here’s the thing — if you’re not a “bike person,” don’t worry. These are electric, so it’s basically like riding a little motorbike. I’m telling you… I didn’t even get tired. This tour was so fun. We learned a ton, saw so many cool murals, and discovered some insanely talented local artists. Now I’m half convinced I need to move to San Antonio. The owner was actually our guide and he was awesome. 10/10 recommend. You’ll see so much of the city and it’s honestly just a really fun way to explore.

I loved the tour and my guide, Aaron, was terrific. He was knowledgable and fun to ride with. I was alone on my tour (it was super cold) and felt completely comfortable and safe on the ride.

This was to be my first experience on an E Bike and I was a bit nervous, but Brian put me at ease with clear instructions and a couple practice runs. This made it easy to quickly transition to enjoying the ride and AMAZING artwork throughout the city of San Antonio. Brian is a wonderful orator and very knowledgeable about the artists.

This was our first experience in San Antonio and it completely changed my opinion about the city. The ebike tour guide and owner, Brian, is native to the city and was very knowledgeable about the history and the artists of the beautiful downtown murals. The ebikes were clean and very well maintained. Brian was very safety conscious and I never felt like I couldn't keep up or was endangered in traffic. The murals of downtown are stunning and well worth the time to check out. This experience was so much fun that the 90 minutes flew and I was sad to see the time come to an end.

Had an awesome experience, was a little nervous had never rode an E-Bike but we all did some practice runs, that gave me more confidence. Our tour guide Brian and Erika were amazing, informative and helpful. The Murals were beautiful and got to meet one of the artist, I have a whole new respect for their talent. Brian was wonderful! The murals that he showed us were beautiful. I’m sure we never would’ve seen them just wandering around on our own. Not only did he share the great artwork with us but he also gave us recommendations for restaurants and must-dos during our trip. I highly recommend taking this mural ride.

The owner/tour guide, Brian, did a fantastic job on this tour! He is attentive to every detail. The route was easy for people of different ages and biking abilities, and his directions were easy to follow. He gives excellent instructions on riding the e-bikes, which are such high quality. Last but not least, his knowledge of the mural art community, its past and present, some key players, and their contributions is expansive and impressive. The tour was top-notch from start to finish. We can't wait to go again.

Brian was a terrific guide on our mural bike tour. He was always ahead of us giving us directions about the traffic and what speed would work well. Having not been on an E bike before this was appreciated. He is very informative about the murals, artists and the city of San Antonio. He even told us about an art lighting festival in our home state which we now plan to go to! I would highly recommend this tour with Brian.
