The pick up at our hotel went smoothly and we had plenty of texts with times and confirmations, communication was top notch! The tour was structured so you understood the whole mission history before getting to the Alamo. The first stop at Buc-Ees was awesome! Yes it’s a gas station but omg it was huge! We even got to hear the brisket song! The mission followed by the Alamo was well structured and very interesting. The boat ride was pretty and a nice relaxing 30-40 minutes. The final stop was the tower, but I don’t like heights so I got a beer and a cake and waited for the others to go up. Hannah our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and answered any questions the group had. Thank you Hannah!

Very well planned . Hannah, our tour guide from See Sight Tour was very nice and was very knowledgeable.
Hannah was great and she was a fantastic tour guide. We really enjoyed all of the places we visited. Lots of to see and do in short period of time.
The trip to San Antonio is absolutely worth it! Alex was an incredible tour guide and made the trip so much fun. Highly recommend! My favorite stop was the San Jose mission. The site is beautifully restored and has a rich history to be explored. I also enjoyed the San Antonio River Walk boat tour. That part of downtown is beautiful!
The bus/van was very comfortable and clean. Our guide Mike was knowledgeable and experienced in all the history & culture of the places we visited. I would highly recommend this driving tour to San Antonio to anyone.
Mike was very knowledgeable , fun and a great driver ! He even dodged a golf ball coming towards his windshield !!! Hope we meet again
Had a detour thanks to the city having a marathon and no easy way to meet at the central meeting place, so after messaging with our tour operators I was able to get in contact with our tour guide who proceeded to tell us where to go and he would meet us. So, even though it was a significant delay to the start, we were able to stay on track and made it to all the planned stops, and still got access to the places with information galore! We even got some pointers on other places we should check out during our stay here and made it back in the 7 hour duration window!
We’re very glad we did this tour! Our guide did an excellent job helping the tour move smoothly, provided interesting information and explained Texas history very well to us!
Nice overview for San Antonio. Perfect if you are staying in Austin without a car and have never been to San Antonio
Comfortable and accommodating trip. Would not do it again. I would have rather spent more time at the riverwalk and had a sit down lunch.
Fantastic tour with a great tour guide Mike! Full of knowledge and stories - and thoughtful too. Had the best day - highly recommend!
I thouroughly enjoyed this trip back into history. I enjoyed the history of San Antonio and the Alamo. My dad grew up there and I had never been so It was well worth it. The tower of the Americas was nice as was the riverboat cruise. Our guide was fantastic, Her name was Jess.It was nice there was only one other person on my trip so it was very personable experience. We all chatted as if we'd known each other forever. I am from Hawaii and the other lady was from UK. Another highlight was the opportunity to stop for authentic tex Mex food at Mesquite. Very good street tacos and quesadillas. A stop at one of the restaurants that line the riverwalk would have been great as well. I was sad when the journey was over and could easily have continues on into the evening with these 2 ladies. I would highly recommend the adventure!
Mike was amazing he was very knowledgeable and very nice. The places we visited was brought to life by his narration.
Guide was very good about answering all our questions, even random ones that had nothing to do with the tour, such as about other cities.
This tour was really great! Our tour guide Mike, was fantastic! He shared so much knowledge about San Antonio, Austin & Texas. Mike took great care of us and his outstanding personality really made the day a lot of fun! Highly recommend this tour. We saw the important spots of San Antonio- The Riverwalk, The Alamo, Mission San Jose, The Tower of Americas, and we ended with lunch at a great local Mexican restaurant! Really enjoyed San Antonio and this tour.
This was a perfect way for us to see San Antonio! We didn't have to find our way around, didn't have to look for parking or deal with traffic. Our guide, Victoria, was friendly, knowledgeable & presented the area history with enthusiasm.
Excellent day trip to get an overview of San Antonio. Our tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable. We were able to visit the top tourist attractions.
This was a great day-long excursion. Our tour guide Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even let me and the other person on the tour make an extra 30-minute stop to have a drink at a historic bar on the Riverwalk. We packed at lot in during the 8 hours this trip lasted. I'd highly recommend it. The only thing to note is that there is no mealtime scheduled, so bring snacks or grab something at the Buc-ee's stop.
They go out of their way to make you happy. Beautiful van with hotel pickup. Very conscientious and professional. Enjoyed every minute.
We had a great time on this tour. Ended up being essentially a private tour for me and my mum. Mike our guide was great and really knowledgeable. The trip to Buc-ees was a great addition. Really enjoyed learning about texas history. Definitely adding another trip to San Antonio when we come back to Texas
What an a great day. Our guides Mike and his trainee Phil made the whole tour feel super relaxed and fun—it ended up just being us, so it was like a private adventure. We hit all the highlights: Buc-ee’s in New Braunfels (a Texas must!), Mission San José, The Alamo, a Riverwalk boat cruise, and the Tower of the Americas. Lunch at La Gloria was delicious and a perfect break, shrimp cocktails and tostada's. Mike and Phil were friendly, easy to chat with, and kept everything fun. Admission to the Riverwalk boat tour and other exhibits was all included. Highly recommend this tour if you want a day full of history, good food, and a little Texas magic!
I decided to take this tour because of the reviews and because I thought it would be easier logistically to have a local drive us around. Our guides, Rob and Mike, were on-time and very knowledgeable about Austin and San Antonio. Since the tour only included my group, it was intimate and allowed us to get to know our guides. This was our first time in Austin and San Antonio so we really enjoyed each stop on this tour. The itinerary allows you to experience important historical sites at a relaxed pace. We had time to take pictures and explore a little. We really appreciated that Mike and Rob kept the van cool after each stop because it was 100 degrees the day of our tour. Big THANK You 😊 for our unexpected mango treat.
Wonderful small group tour that ended up being a private tour for us. Spacious clean Mercedes tour van. Tickets for everything included, no waiting in line for anything, all very well organized. Ride back was smooth. Communication was too notch. Hotel Pick Up & Drop off. John C. our driver and guide was extremely engaging and knew all sorts of Texas history (being a teacher and all among his many other careers) Full of facts and so funny. Loved stopping at Buc-ees for restroom break & breakfast sandwiches. Mission San Jose was a great first stop to get the history of the missions purpose, layout, what happened there & restoration efforts during Great Depression. Great background context to the Alamo. It’s the best preserved mission in Texas. Then we went to the Alamo which was great for historical purpose but the land around it was comedically developed so didn’t have that historic context or vibe we got from the mission we just came from. Glad we did the mission first to understand the Alamo. John knew so much and conveyed background which prepared us. The Alamo was wonderful to see and yes it was a little rushed. We saw the church and watched the videos to explain further what happened there. Do wish we had John or a guide to take us around the Alamo to explain or point out things but it’s a state park so non official park guides are not permitted Then we did the Riverwalk which we loved. 1/2hr cruise along the canal in San Antonio. Tour guide on the boat was great and humorous. n to the tour and helped provide more context to the Alamo. We were underwhelmed by the Tower of the Americas. I guess it’s the only other thing in San Antonio. Overall it was an excellent tour of San Antonio. John knew all the best spots for photos. John was so interesting and made the tour awesome. He was always on time, met us as we finished our tours, communication was excellent. Consciousness and great tour guide. If they substituted the Tower of America with perhaps some free time in San Antonio to walk around by ourself & have lunch perhaps, it would have been absolutely perfect tour. all in all, it was perfect day trip outing and we were so happy to have taken this trip with John at Tripshepherd See-Sight Tours of Austin. No worries hassle free tour - best way to vacation. Highly recommend this tour to San Antonio from visiting Austin.
Alamo, Riverwalk boat ride and even Buc-ee’s! Although climbing up the bell tower at the Mission was our highlight! Excellent day trip excursion to San Antonio while in Austin for business. This combination of history, culture, and sightseeing made for the perfect day. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting San Antonio! Mike was great and very thoughtful. The mango Italian ice sprinkled with tajin was nothing I would have ordered on my own, but honestly was amazing after the hot boat ride.
Fun, informative day trip to San Antonio in comfortable Mercedes van. Was relaxing and pleasant to see some of the landscape outdide Austin and thoroughly enjoyed the missions and river tour. Our guide, Mike, really knows his stuff! Would revommend!
Great tour guide, very friendly and well informed. Everything comfortable and efficient. I would certainty recommend this tour.
This tour is for a small group and as luck would have it, it was just my daughter and me. Mike is very knowledgable about Texas and it's history. He is very laid back and was open to our requests. We had a very nice day. Highly recommend the river walk, very nice experience.
Great tour and great tour guide. If you are in Austin give it a try. You will learn a lot about the missiona. Can definetely recommend it.
It was an 8 hour day, but the day was fun and full of stops and an extremely knowledgeable tour guide.
We had a blast! Mike was the perfect connoisseur and broaden the knowledge to cover many interesting historic facts while being all attentive and accommodating to our needs. We loved all we saw today and aside from the places we visited I would say our guide was the main reason. Highly recommended both the tour and Mike. Thanks!!!!!
Tour guide, Mike, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He arrived early and clearly communicated meeting times and locations.
Unfortunately, I missed the pickup. 100% my fault. Nevertheless the tour operator offered a free alternative which I couldn’t attend due to my flight schedule. The the tour operator refunded the money. This is customer service at it’s best!!! Didn’t expect or even asked for that 😲👌 great company!!!
I was the only one on my tour, but my guide Trice did a fantastic job! She was on time, knowledgeable on history, and very friendly. I’d recommend this to any out of towners who doesn’t wanna drive and want to hit all the spots in a quick day tour.
From start to finish this tour was excellent. Mike the guide was brilliant and very informative. You stop for breakfast at the biggest petrol station I have ever seen. It’s pretty cool. The Alamo was good to see and you get plenty of time. The riverboat was brilliant. A 30 minute boat ride round and it’s a good experience. I definitely would go back to San Antonio to stay. The tower of the Americas was ok. Not a lot in it but it does have good views. Overall I highly recommend this tour. Excellent.
Very relaxing and got to see a lot in a short time. Getting picked up and dropped off at hotel was excellent. Driver was knowledgeable and fun.
I've been fortunate enough to go on a few guided tours but this is by far the most enjoyable. The group size was only 3 which gave a more personalised feel to the tour. Mike did an amazing job leading the tour
Very interesting historical sites Guide was knowledgeable and informative View from top of the world was awesome Guide found a great place for lunch
I rate this a 5 star only cuz they don't have a 6. It was perfect. Mike was fun and very attentive. I have some mobility issues and he took care of me. We saw ever major attraction in San Antonio. It was a perfect day.
Easy to book, met all our expectations, would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Mike, was great. He was pleasant, informative, attentive and easy to spend the day with. He made sure that all our needs were met. We loved this tour with him.
Great itinerary, includes many interesting sights. Mike is a great guide who shared a lot of valuable and interesting information. I very much enjoyed the trip! Many thanks!
Very nice instructor, I had a great time in San Antonio, I saw the Alamo, visited Buc-ee, terrific Thanks Michael!
Mike, our tour guide showed us a great time on the tour! He was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the history of Texas. None of which we would have known otherwise. The riverboat ride was awesome, beautiful area with shops, restaurant’s, and hotels along the scenic path! Mike was also a great driver and we felt very safe while riding with him. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!
Our guide made it fun despite the bitter cold. The trip was very personalized. Good service, they picked us at our hotel.
Mike, our local tour guide was great! Very knowledgeable about the history of San Antonio, good driver, patient and made certain our trip was enjoyable. It was cold and he even went the extra mile to give us hand warmers when we boarded the boat at Riverwalk! Took us to an authentic Mexican restaurant for lunch...great trip!
What a fantastic day out! We had an amazing guide, Mike, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We were picked up on time right out the front of our hotel, had a few stops along the way and never felt rushed. Mike made the journey enjoyable and it was interactive the whole way. Would highly recommend this tour. Our favourite part was the Riverwalk Boat and if you get Dan as your captain you are in for a great ride!
A must take tour. My guide Coda was outstanding. His knowledge of the sites, great personality, and engaging manners made it a wonderful tour. Learned a lot about the cities history.
Mike is my guide. He's great, super knowledgeable about everything San Antonino and Texas. Mike is also very flexible to accommodate my ask.
Overall, we had amazing semi-private experience on this well organized and executed tour. Both tour guides were very attentive to all of our needs throughout the tour, knowledgeable and informative, delivering phenomenal experience with a lot of historic, cultural, geographical and culinarily insights into greater San Antonio area and the state of TX in general. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, especially for the first time. Well worth the price too!
Mike was our tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Loved all the stops, I would highly recommend
Michael only had my husband and me on this tour so we were glad it wasn’t cancelled. He was knowledgeable about every phase of the tour, providing the historical background that made the entire day even more enjoyable. This is someone who loves his work!
