I love the options! The Alamo was fun and so was the witte museum and river walk. Fantastic view from the tower of the americas
I love using city passes in order to check items off my bucket lists when I travel. Without this pass, I would not have known about the Tower of the Americas or gotten to experience it!
The city pass was a great bargain and because of that I saw places I probably would have missed otherwise.
It was easy! If staying on the Riverwalk, do you not necessarily need a car. Everything is pretty conveniently located. Just show your QR code and you get right in to the activity. It was great.
Has anyone done the math? Total scam. The Alamo ticket is the $15 self guided tour, not the $48 guided tour. Don't purchase, you are better of buying your tickets at the door. Skip this...you only get 4 attractions and you'll be lucky to break even.
Fast easy entrance at attractions. Great value for the money’s
I definitely recommend this tour, relaxing, and informative
Good experience! My only issue was at Tower of Americas the individual checking us in wouldn’t honor our tickets. I had to call SA City Pass for help. We did get in and see the attraction but it was frustrating just having to take the extra step because TOA staff didn’t know what they were doing.
The City Pass was the best purchase ever! I live in SA and the options offered are great day activities for visiting friends and family! Definitely worth the price 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The pass was advertised as lasting 9 days from the first scan but only lasted two. Also when visiting the zoo the pass worked but they were initially confused about it. Next time I will just buy the tickets at the place to want to visit.
Fun way to see the city. Easy purchase and easy to see the city as you want. Enjoy getting these thru Viator
City pass is awesome. We were able to see a lot of sites at a very discounted rate and introduce us to some new places. We probably would not have discovered.. we chose the Alamo, the Riverwalk, boat, cruise, the tower of America and the natural history Museum. We loved everything except for the museum that one’s better suited for kids, but it was fine. We absolutely loved the Riverwalk boat cruise. The tower was awesome and so is the Alamo.
Having the city pass was great! It gave us flexibility to change plans and didn’t have to purchase tickets at each venue. Fun trip
Great pass…lots of choice based on what your family enjoys doing. We had a week to do all of these things so we didn’t have to rush.
Great choice, saved $$ over buying individual tickets. In 2&1/2 days - we were able to see the San Antonio Botanical Garden, San Antonio Zoo, Riverwalk and a 30-35 minute narrated river boat cruise and visited The Alamo. Great way to see San Antonio in a short period of time.
Do not buy with viator, just buy on the CityPass app. We ended up with a situation where a GoRio boat conductor didn’t scan our CityPasses correctly and we lost out on the entire experience, which was over $75 for our group in took.
Totally worth the money. Had a great experience at the Alamo and on the river boat. Would do it all again.
We had a day & half in San Antonio so we purchased the City Pass to get the most for our money. We downloaded the City Pass App which made it very convenient to have our tickets handy. There were 8 attractions to choose from. The Pass allowed 4 of the 8. Excellent way to see things without breaking the bank.
The city pass was so easy to purchase and easy to use with the app. We were able to pick and choose the activities we wanted to attend with our pass and we never had an issue getting in.
Several choices to choose 4. Chose botanical gardens (peaceful place), Alamo and museum (lot of people during the day packed the indoor part), and tower of America (windy up top that day). Info didn't say how much each normally is, so research if only using 3 is a benefit. Did river ride under different ticket package. Best of the four was botanical gardens.
If you plan on doing even 3 of these attractions, it is worth it. It would be nice to see it expand with a few more things to do in the future
Don’t count on Viator can’t for your trips. Booked a trip and they canceled it and did not give a call or anything. Still waiting on refund!!!!!!!
They cancelled meand I did not use yet. I am requesting a refund. Please give me a refund. I did not get to use it at all. Why cancelled?
This purchase was well worth it. You have the choice of 4 great places/activities to choose from, and they are all good ones. It pays for itself after just two activities. Would definitely do it again. Easy to use, and known at all the locations.
This was an awesome thing to purchase! And we didn’t even do a fourth thing. It is well worth the price though! And you get to enjoy four different things! We went on the river ride, went to the Alamo and went to the towers of America!!
So easy to use and all of the locations that I selected were aware of the pass. It is also a great value for the price as some of these single tickets were about half of the cost of the pass!
This was definitely worth our money. We were there for a long weekend and did all 4 things in just 3 days.
Buying the San Antonio CityPass was great for covering som key areas to visit in San Antonio- recommended! We would have loved to visit more areas, so maybe add an additional 1-2-3 items that could be added to the pass if didnt cover all? Either way great way to get to see and explore the city!
It was nice to visit attractions I would not have done otherwise. Normally I would have seen Tower of Americas and the boat ride. I visited the museum and the botanical gardens that I enjoyed
Totally worth the money and many great sites/activities to choose from. We went to the botanical gardens and the tower and The Alamo, and the Riverwalk boat tour… did so many great things in the 3 days we spent there. So fun!
I bought a city pass in San Antonio. It was definitely a savings, and so easy to use. I chose 4 activities out of the list. Clicked on it at each place and showed the QR code. That simple!
It was so amazing to just show our tickets on my phone and in we went. Saw 3 of our 4 attractions in one day. We didn’t plan to do that many today, but it was a great day.
Easy way to gain entrance into the various venues. No questions asked. An easy way to see historic San Antonio and see the highlights.
Convenient access to several tours. App easy to use. Not that great of a deal, however, for seniors -- only a little lower than the senior rate individually.
This pass was so convenient and we got to experience some really great attractions: The Tower of the Americas, The San Antonio Botanical Garden, the Go Rio Narrated River Cruise and The Alamo. Highly recommend
Great way to see some sites ! We will use it again . Finishing up today . San Antonio is a great city to see , one week isn’t long enough.
You wouldn’t need more on a short trip, two days gave me plenty time to do 2 attractions per day and still have time to wander around the city.
CityPASS was so easy and convenient. Just showed our electronic ticket and enjoyed the savings! The Zoo, Alamo, Botanical Garden and Art Museum were all great.
Easy to use and had a lot of different options to chose from. Definitely saved money using the city pass!
Great experience! For a good deal of getting to go to 4 attractions it was great, and it was very easy and fast, we didn’t need to wait long in lines to buy tickets all we had to do was get in line to get our city pass tickets scanned and we were in pretty quickly!
One small change can be made to make this a superb, 5 star experience. When I booked through Trip Advisor, Trip Advisor sent tickets that were not by themselves any good for any of the attractions. Nothing on that email said that I had to redeem those vouchers for the actual City Passes on the City Pass website. I didn’t figure that out until I presented the TripAdvisor tickets to the first venue and was turned away. The manager at the venue explained what to do. Instructions for this should be made very clear up front. The manager said he sees that happen all the time.
The CityPass was worth purchasing and it was easy to use at each attraction. We were able to all 3 attractions in two days.
Perfect for our quick family trip ahead of a busy summer. No reservations necessary made it convenient for us to fit the excusions in around our schedule.
Experienced new places and took lots of pics. The zoo train ride and museums were great. Of course had to do the riverwalk
The CityPass is not worthwhile. Access is limited to 4 items and only a small percentage discount, so this pass proved poor value. I should have chosen and visited the places directly. Given St Antonio is very easy to get around and there are many more sites than listed in this pass.
It was great! The city pass allowed us to do a lot of different things around the city! And the price is good if you do multiple of these experiences. Great time!
I am amazed this CityPass, from the Tourist Office I think, only has 2 reviews. It really did save us 50% off the entry to where we wanted to go. Plus do remember it goes up at the end of February every year (as do the sights) but as it lasts a year before you need to use it, then cuts in only when you start it, we were able to buy it in February of this year and use it this April no problem. They email to you a page with QR codes on, and the sights all scan that fine for entry. No mobile phone needed, for us luddites! It covers 4 sights. We used it for the Go Rio River Boat cruise, the San Antonio Art Museum, The Witte Museum and the Botanical Gardens. They are not huge sights compared with major cities, but very nice, especially the Witte Museum. If you have a number of days in San Antonio, this is worthwhile.
It wasn't too bad. The lady we called and tried to get info from wasn't too cognitive of procedures, etc. Other than that, we had no problems and enjoyed the pass, or at least my son, dau-in-law & girlfriend did. I'm a disabled veteran and was unable to do anything other than the river cruise. Too, I had three tickets which the folks weren't able to attend and it's my understanding the tickets are non-transferrable as well as non-refundable. So, I undoubtedly I lost a bit of money. So. if you buy. be sure everyone attends.
Good value for seeing San Antonio sights. We used ours for the river cruise, the San Antonio Zoo, Witte Museum, and the San Antonio Museum of Art. We saved at least $30 in admission fees by purchasing the pass versus buying individual tickets for each venue.
