We had the best time exploring in our 1908 model T cart. We got to stop and go places within the map. Found a good place to stop and watch the Halloween parade which was a treat for us. Beautiful day and great fun. Highly recommend

My wife was very happy with the electric car rental on a very hot day. Without it, we must not enjoy our Galveston tour as much as we had experienced.

Very cool experience. You walk in and they tell you to take your pick of the replicas. The selection is fabulous. They go over the operation of the carts in detail. They give you maps and tips to make the most of your time. They give you everything needed to have a good trip.

The owner was friendly and told us where we should go. Answered all of our questions. We had a blast! It was so much easier going downtown Galveston to the little shops close to the harbor

As part of a birthday getaway, hubs really enjoyed his surprise to drive this around Galveston! As I purchased through TripAdvisor, we had to sign waivers in person so plan on getting there early to get the information and forms signed before your rental start time. But we really enjoyed it. We were handed a map of streets NOT to drive on, as well as provided a QR code on the vehicle of sites to see and tours we could try if we wanted. Being familiar with some of Galveston, it was fun to not only see familiar sites, but also part of the old town that I didn't know about. We got the 3 hour tour, and if we had a better mind of how to spend the time, I would say now to get a longer rental and check out some of the places listed. But all in all, he had a great time driving and giving this a go!

We rented two 5 seaters and explored the island. We had a blast! These carts are very comfortable and easy to drive.

The cars were a fun way to get around the historic district and see a bit of Galveston. The Carriage House staff were very friendly.

What a great way to see old town Galveston! The owner of the company was so helpful on where to drive and park to walk around downtown. Drove along ocean blvd as well no problem. Definitely a great experience.

We took a two hour tour of downtown Galveston, Architecture and History with Gin. There were other tour themes, but this one suited us. At the time, other tours were not operating, but this company turned out very enjoyable. We phoned them in the morning and set the tour up in the afternoon. Gin drove the Replica 1908 Model-T electric car and took us on an informative ride around Galveston. The replicas come in various sizes and we picked out one appropriate for a couple, but they have larger ones for families, We are from Arizona and decided to spend two days in Galveston after a Western Caribbean cruise. I am a volunteer tour guide for a museum in Arizona and appreciate a knowledgeable tour guide. It was the highlight of our day.

The entire process was extremely easy and stress free. The owner was friendly and very knowledgable on the history of Galveston. This was the perfect way for our group of seniors to see the historical sites of the beautiful city of Galveston. Will definately do this again next time we're in Texas.

Took the ghosts in the graveyard tour. Gin was our tour guide. She was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and a GREAT storyteller. The replica 1908 model T electric golf cart was a fun way to tour the city. I highly recommend the tour and look forward to doing it again.

We booked this prior to getting on a cruise and had limited access to email. When we got off the cruise, we discovered that the company had an offsite private event and would not be open. Our reservation should not have made it through the system; However, it was and to their credit Carriage Haus Rentals made it work. The gentleman who checked us in was loading carts up for the private event and was going to wait for us. We were so happy they did this. Mom has COPD and is on portable oxygen, this was the perfect way to take her and the group around Galveston to see the sites. All six of us had a great time riding around, honking the horn and waving back at the people waving to us. I would highly recommend this to any one thinking about doing it. The staff were great and the experience was definitely one of a kind. We will be doing this again if in Galveston.

Jin was an excellent guide! She has so many stories and she has such a great sense of humor when telling them. Not only did we hear ghost stories but we also learned history of Galveston when we drove through the streets with these absolutely beautiful houses, of which some are definitely haunted. The electric car was beautiful, and new, an absolute ball of fun to ride around. Thanks Jin! 10/10 you should book now!

Great way to see Galveston, especially when it’s hot outside. Our Model T cart fit perfectly with the era of buildings. Once we got the lay of the land, then we went back to the sites that we wanted to see on foot. The rental process was easy and the men at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

My friend and I took the 1900 Storm tour. Jen was a great guide -- knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with our many interruptions and questions. We had read several books about the storm and are frequent visitors to Galveston, so we already knew a lot of the history and could tell that Jen had done her research. She took us to many of the homes and locations we'd read about, and some that we weren't aware of. Jen was a very safe driver, and only hit the occasional pothole (;-). Even without the history, just being driven in the cart was a fun way to see the beautiful old homes and gardens! I look forward to doing the Ghost tour next visit. Thanks again Jen!

My parents and I did the Ghosts in The Graveyard Tour with Jen and it was absolutely fantastic. This was a last minute decision as we saw the cars driving around and were intrigued. We decided to book the Ghost Tour and we were absolutely blown away. Jen was our guide and was amazing. She was friendly, so knowledgeable, and had amazing spooky stories to tell. We are already discussing which tour we will do next on our next Galveston trip. 100% recommend booking! So worth it!

Did the Guilded Age tour with Gin. It was fabulous. Gin was so knowledgeable, explaining everything about the various houses and history of each. I’ve been to Galveston many times but never knew about the history. Can’t wait to go back and take the cemetery tour. The tour was 2 hours and well worth the money. Loved the car.

We had a great time getting around town the cart is so stylish loved the horn we rented a Bluetooth speaker for 10.00 the cart goes up to 20 mph. We got to pick the one we wanted I opted for all day rental cause the price wasn’t much of a difference and it was well worth it not to be in a hurry to get it back.

We took the Gilded Age Architectural Tour and it was so much fun! The carts were nifty and our guide knew so much about the area! We saw so much amazing architecture! We will be scheduling more tours for sure!

It was a rainy day but we made the most of it with this excursion! They gave us some self guided maps on neat tours around the island if you don't know where to even start. We'll be doing it again!

I’ve been going to Galveston since I was itty bitty and I saw so many sites just driving around with my kiddos that I had no idea were there! Literally the only way to explore Galveston island in my opinion!! We now have a new family tradition in renting one of these from carriage haus!!

We loved renting the "golf cart" Model T! It was so cute and fun driving around town, honking and waving to other drivers :) We only did the 2 hour rental, but it would have been fun to have all day!

We rented a model T, Meredith, as part of the Steampunk Festival in Galveston. We had a great map and access to videos about each place we visited. The narrations were great! Our vehicle was super clean and the folks at Carriage Haus were wonderful. Great family fun!

Check in was a breeze! We had a great time driving around Galveston in our Model T named Meredith. The old fashion horn and the looks of Meredith was a great way to spend the day here. We stopped my the beach, went to the Strand and toured the Victoria homes. Highly recommend!!

We went on the Mob Tour with “Willie D” as our guide. He drove us all around downtown Galveston & the sea wall & gave us a great tour and history lesson on who & what build Galveston. We went with our 11 & 6 year old & we all had a great time as we acquired a little more insight into the city!

We rented a 5 seater to check out the carved trees and historic homes galveston has to offer. Staff was great. Cars were clean and functioned perfectly. It was fun to take it a little slower and drive through the strand as well as the homes. Great experience.
