Lake Austin Scenic History Tour 2hr, Fully Shaded, Am, Pm, Sunset

It was very calming, relaxing boat trip. The sceneries are beautiful and Captan Spencer was great. Highly recommend!

Definitely bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. And something to eat and drink. Operator supplies cold water. Remember, no restroom on board

Spencer, our captain, was very knowledgeable about the lake and its surroundings. We appreciated his information on the problem with invasive plants (hydrilla) and the plans for its eradication as well the struggles of the native plants (such as the lotus). We enjoyed hearing about the wildlife as well. He called out interesting facts all along the way (houses and otherwise) and was always opened to questions.

A comfortable cruise with captain Ronaldo. We made a stop for the bathroom and grabbed a drink. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful homes. It was a 25 minute uber ride from downtown Austin and I also enjoyed seeing the scenery on the way.

Had a wonderful time cruising through Lake Austin with Spencer as our captain. It was a perfect day and we learned a lot about the Lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend it to anyone. It was relaxing. The lake was gorgeous and the houses along the shore are beautiful. We did the sunset cruise and it was nice and cool. Our Captain Ronaldo is very friendly and joyful!

Spencer was an amazing tour guide. He gave us history but he was also personable and relaxed. My only complaint was that it was too short lol. I would've paid for another go around!

What a great excursion. We had never been on the Lake before, and Marco our captain made us feel right at home. Very knowledgeable and conversational guy. By the end of the trip, I could say Marco is the best captain ever! Great guy, returned something to me even after I left the boat. Give this guy a raise!!

It was a learning experience, The captian explained the history of the lake and its purposes. The captian was friendly and informative. It was a very good tour and relaxing

Spencer was our tour guide, and he was amazing! The tour is as described and the directions for meeting up ate accurate. We had great weather (although a bit hot as one would expect in September), but the breeze from the ride kept it very comfortable. They provide cold bottled water, but you're allowed to bring your own cooler and snacks. It as a very enjoyable 2 hours, and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for something different to do and a different view of Austin.

Great afternoon excursion. Captain Spencer was great. Communicated great at pick-up. Really relaxed vibe but learned a bit about the area too.

Though it's listed as a "Pontoon" Lake ride, it was actually VERY exciting!! Our captain handled the wakes like a pro. Renaldo was amazing. Very personable, funny and extremely considerate. I will say that after we booked, we found the same tour for 50.00 cheaper/ person. In the end, I have no regrets. This was our first time visiting Texas. Looking forward to doing this again.

We loved it! Our guide was Spencer, and it was a pleasure listening to him during the tour. You can tell he loves what he does, and that makes the experience 10 times more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The performance of your customer service specially was wonderful. The captain showed a remarkable performance by showing his control in driving explaining the houses and personally coming to the Dock to carefully taking to the Boat.

THIS WAS SO FUN!! Beautiful views, incredible architecture and nature, including swans and maybe a rogue water snake. Captain Spencer was awesome and knows his sh*t - provides a lot of interesting facts about the river and its inhabitants. The boat was easy to find, communication was excellent and the boat was so comfortable, safe and clean. Also loved that Captain Spencer played good tunes as we cruised down the river. Highly recommend this boat tour! Especially at sunset!

This was such a wonderful experience. I took my sister and our boat had a few 60+ year olds and a couple of 25+ year olds (i’m 30). It was not too wild, but still a blast. Our captain was so friendly and knowledgeable. We truly felt like family by the end.

Our second time taking this tour and just as fabulous as the first! Wonderful way to see a different version of Austin and its nature! Relaxing and very entertaining. Spencer was our boat captain both times and he did 10/10! Tons of history and knowledge of the area mixed with wildlife. He makes the experience so great!
