What a great tour! Our guide, Lisa, was knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. This is such a great way to see all of the spots and piece the events of the day together.
It was awesome! Very informative & got to see lots of the city. Lisa our driver was great! I highly recommend it.
Our guide was dry & mundane... The tour was type boring... Maybe the other guides are more livelier.
This tour was very informational, truly engaging and a bit emotional. I would do it again. Strongly recommend.
You don’t need to do tour for this you can do it all yourself its all within walking distance. And self explanatory, worth a visit though and look for the crosses on the road where the point of the shootings are
The tour is not a hop on hop off tour. Lisa Lisa was our guide & did a fabulous job setting up what to expect as we listened to the recorded narration that included actual recordings of the event…before, during & after.
It was a very informative trip. We got to go to places we would never have found on our own. The trip was half narrative via prerecorded tape and the other was from our guide. Some of the information I remembered from school and the rest went beyond what I knew. I recommend this trip for history buffs and anyone else who wants to learn more about JFK’s assassination.
Lisa was an excellent tour guide. Very informative and engaging. The commentary was great as well. Great tour
Lisa was amazing. I learned so much. Enjoyed her sense of humor and insight. She involved us all in the tour
Worst tour experience ever !! We booked 12:00tour . We went to meeting place that was on reservation and we were there at correct time . For unknown reason location was changed and we were unaware. We emailed company and said we can take 1:30 tour , we got on that trolley and audio of the JFK tour went out , driver said she had to end tour for technical difficulties. The driver was frustrated and said if we wanted to do something we needed to get ahold of company for refund. We called , emailed and have not gotten no response about full refund. We payed full price , basically for almost 3 hours was in the heat of Dallas and we saw nothing. Worst experience ever
Lisa for president she did a very good tour with seriousness and laughter. A credit to your company.
This tour did not happen! We boarded the trolley and went for about 15 minutes during which the audio was off and on. It would cut out and then come back on either repeating areas that had already been played or jumping ahead. The driver took as back to the starting point and asked her supervisor what to do. The supervisor was no help. She acted annoyed and offered to put us on a different tour that she was driving and said that was our only option. She couldn’t provide a refund or offer seats on the same tour at a different time. She said we’d have to call Big D tours for those options but it was impossible to get a real person on the phone. I would like a refund but can’t find anyone to tell me how to get it. Very frustrating.
Lisa was an excellent tour guide. It was a very informative tour. A piece of history that shook America.
In order to make this bus tour complete, you must walk around the grassy area and get the full perspective of where the presidential limousine drove through.
Lisa did an amazing job with customer service and friendliness! Very detailed tour from a pre-recorded audio that provide everything you need to know and the trolley passes by everything you would like to see. Highly recommend
What a wonderful step back in history. The trip was very informative. Some of the facts I had never heard before. Very interesting
Even if you weren’t born during this time, it was a fascinating tour. I was born before then and I had no idea that Lee Harvey shot and killed another policeman, the same day! I love that Dallas, chose to commemorate him also. I also have tears of sadness for all the violence in this world.
Nice, air conditioned trolley. Lisa was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was very informative, reminding me of several events I had forgotten about. Definitely worth the time and money!!
It is a nice experience if you are interested in facts. It is a bit hard to follow the language if you are not native speaker
This was an excellent tour. The trolley stopped in front of several places of importance from that day. Lots of information.
Although the online description advertises the trolly as air conditioned, we were welcomed with an apology after being seated and were informed the air condition had decided to stop working. That was a bit of a disappointment considering it was 80* out and only a select few windows were open on the trolly. While the pre-recorded information was very informative, we do enjoy the live information and feel that makes the experience more personal.
Lisa was so great and knowledgeable. She was a hoot and we appreciated all the extra info she gave in addition to the audio. We also enjoyed the old clips that were included.
The trolley that was scheduled to arrive at 3 pm didn’t show up. I was there 30 minutes early. No contact from anyone
Tour was cancelled because of bad weather, but no communication from the company and unable to get a response to get a refund, no response to emails, very poor.
My aunt and I had an amazing time during this tour, and we learned a lot. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable
Definitely would recommend! Super fun and lots of info
The driver, Lisa was awesome! The recordings we loved too! When the gunshot went off by the white X in the road, we got emotional. We drove here from Green Bay, Wi. We ordered tickets online for a time we should have made it there but we didn’t. We were stuck in a very bad accident for an hour and a half about 30 miles north of Dallas. There’s road construction all through that area. There is no room for error going through this. We saw that a semi hit the cement barrier which moved the barrier but was on the other side of the road we were on. A little ways away we saw a large white SUV stuck in between a couple of the barriers. We thought there was another vehicle involved but not sure. So both sides of interstate 35 were at a stop. I called the support office to explain why we couldn’t make that time but asked if we switch to the next time. The operator was trying to call someone to see if it’s a possibility. No one answered her call. But suggested we go to the meeting place to find out about switching times. The operator did send out an email when the call wasn’t answered. And I would get a call back. I didn’t get a call back. She said it’s not guaranteed, which we knew. We got to the tour bus meeting place and talked to the very kind young man that was selling the tour. I explained everything and he said we could change the time. We knew if the tour was fully booked they couldn’t change the time (and that was the last time for the day) So….. we got on the tour and it is sooooo worth it. Thank you JFK trolley tours!!!!
Lisa was our driver/tour guide and she was enthusiastic, friendly, informative & made sure we got the most out of our experience! Highly recommend the tour! Lisa also had some good suggestions for other things to do and see in the city.
The Trolley Tour was so authentic. Very interesting tour. Went all around the importance historical sights
It was a fun time with our trolley driver, Lisa! It was an informative way to follow along with the events that happened during those few days and was a perfect compliment to the Dealey Plaza & Sixth Floor Museum!
Very informative and informative. Tour guide / driver was great
DEALEY plaza easy to get to on DART to West End station. Trolley stop just a block over so easy to find. The Sixth floor Museum closed mon/tues so we only did the Trolley tour and walked by the jfk memorial (by Phillip Johnson is all I learned about it), really thats all there is to do & see ... other than the basic geography of the area & X's on street.
After having limited time in Dallas my son and I chose to do this tour as it sounded good and was a little over 60 minutes long... I looked at the reviews and the insider tips and we boarded the car and sat on the right hand side ( as was one of the tips ) and Sat on the rear seat ( away from the Aircon unit....( As was a other tip )...The Natation was actually really good consise information timed exactly with the drivers help...it was fascinating to travel the route JFK did on that faithful day in 1963 ( as he was driven ) you were also taken multiple other areas of interest that tied the whole story together...my personal view it was excellent value for money and filled in all the gaps I didn't know and even more gaps for my son...we both really enjoyed it and it was to the point and didn't drag on for no reason..I really think if you do nothing else on Dallas you shouldn't miss this.. History right in your lap..
Fantastic audio recording of events leading up to 11/22/63. Tour driver gave little known details. Very informative
My family enjoyed the educational part of the trip we were enlightened on things we didn’t know concerning JFK We did have two concerns: unable to hear Lisa clearly and the trolley got very hot it was a heat advisory overall the trip is educational but would enjoy much better if ride was cooler
The tour was a great deal for the money. The guide really knew her information and conspiracy theories. The only issue was that the air conditioner was loud and made it hard to hear at times.
It is informative however trying to hear the audio over the beer loud AC system was difficult Overall, we did learn some things
Learned so much more history than I imagined and saw parts of Dallas that I had even forgotten about!
The audio on the trolly needs serious upgrading. Excellent tour and tour guide. The air didn’t have to run the whole time and if so, needs a quieter system. Fantastic tour!
Very informative when you could understand what was being said over the speakers. A/C was not effective in 98 degree heat and that was the main reason we chose the trolley tour.
A little hokey but a good way to see Dallas.
Learned a LOT! The tour covered a lot of ground and information about JFK and a ton about Lee Harvey Oswald.
The JFK trolley tour was very informative and interesting. Lisa was a great tour guide!
The sound system I. The trolley is horrible!! Also, the air conditioner in the trolley is sooo loud u could not hear in the back!! The tour guide’s speaker system was worse than the sound system!!
It was only $22. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it a one star the trolley was very uncomfortable. That wooden seats were almost unbearable. The timing of the illustrations were off. They kept pausing replaying, trying to keep up blank traffic or no traffic or whatever not a good tour maybe OK for 22 bucks it went by the places so you know that’s why I give it. A three star is because the price was very inexpensive compared to some of the other options.
Lisa was fantastic! She was engaging, funny, and shared many interesting details beyond what was included in the audio tour. Taking this tour before visiting the Sixth Floor Museum made the overall experience even more meaningful and gave us a much deeper understanding of the JFK assassination. I would definitely recommend doing the trolley tour first!
Great no problem one of the best trip I encountered in Dallas
Good tour with a good guide and excellent narrative. Trolley is air conditioned. Interesting to see actual sights like Oswald home, Tippitt encounter site, theater capture site and Ruby encounter site. Guide also gave tremendous recommendation for Terry Black BBQ.
Great narrative and interesting stops. Driver was great. Tour was well planned. Easy to find tour stop
