This was our first trip to the area. We were very happy with the process. I was skeptical about booking online, so I called and got to speak to Rebecca who was very helpful and informative. Great communication regarding tour day. Erin was our tour guide and was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Even suggested local bbq for dinner that was great. We will definitely use them again.

Itinerary
Experience the JFK tragedy firsthand. This fascinating tour begins with a visit to the aesthetically simple, Kennedy Memorial; a thoughtful piece of art; the space is intended for reflection and remembrance.
Visit Dealey Plaza; a public park in downtown Dallas and the site of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. As you walk through Dealey Plaza with your Tour Guide, learn about the Presidential motorcade route and stop at the infamous Grassy Knoll, where bystanders heard gunshots. Learn about the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza (which commemorates the life and legacy of JFK); now located within the building formerly known as the Texas School Book Depository. See the “corner window” used by the alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald. Hear details of key evidence, the Warren Commission Report, the role of the Secret Service Agents, eyewitness accounts, the Zapruder film and discuss the conspiracy theories. Depart Dealey Plaza and trace Kennedy’s presidential limousine's route to Parkland Hospital; where questionable decisions were made in the midst of the crisis. Hear accounts from the ER doctors, the tragic moments Jackie Kennedy experienced and the welfare of severely injured Governor Connally. In route, you will stop at the Dallas Trade Mart, where JFK was schedule to be the guest of honor and deliver a speech at a luncheon hosted by Dallas dignitaries.
Drive the route of the presidential motorcade as it left Dallas' Love Field Airport heading towards downtown. Learn about Kennedy's plans for his trip to Texas.
Stop by Main Street Gardens to see the Old Municipal Building. In 1963, this was the home of the Dallas Police Headquarters and the Dallas city jail where Lee Harvey Oswald was held over the weekend. Your guide will cover the circumstances that lead to the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald by nightclub owner, Jack Ruby.
Trace Lee Harvey Oswald's footsteps as he fled the Texas School Book Depository to the Dallas neighborhood of Oak Cliff. Stop by Oswald's boarding house that still stands today. Visit the corner of 10th and Patton St.; the site where Oswald fatally shot Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit. Follow the expected route Oswald took as he fled the scene, to the famous Texas Theatre, where he was captured and arrested after a struggle with the Dallas Police.
Located adjacent to the Dallas City Hall is the Dallas Police Memorial; a tribute to all Dallas Police Officers slain in the line of duty. Look for the fallen J. D. Tippit's name on the Memorial.

This was an excellent tour by Rebecca, who was so thorough and knowledgeable, not to mention gracious with her time. I would highly recommend this tour (or one of the longer ones) to anyone who wants an objective narrative about the known facts to compare to the myriad of theories surrounding JFK's assassination. Seeing the actual sites where key events unfolded, hearing about the people involved (or allegedly so), and learning the history was a real eye-opening experience. While the story is a indeed a heavy-hearted one, we had a great time learning about it. With greater knowledge, we can continue to reflect, ponder, and weigh in on one of the most controversial events in American history. Thanks Rebecca. Outstanding!
Excellent tour. Certainly gave us food for thought on lots of aspects of history and conspiracy theories
Brilliant tour with Rebecca, very knowledgeable about the events that happened in Dallas, happy to answer lots of questions about the theory’s that have existed for almost 60 years. Very generous with her time (we ran slightly over). Rebecca’s knowledge also comes from having met people that were there that day, which gave a wonderful insight to the confusion and pandemonium that ensued after the shooting
Absolutely amazing!! From my first interaction with Rebecca to our 5 hour tour with Erin, every interaction with them was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When we met Erin the morning of our tour, she was dressed professional, her clean Lexus SUV was comfortable to ride in, she was patient with our children, she was knowledgeable and had great skills with explaining things to us. Highly recommend!!!
Rebecca was an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable, entertaining and fun. Highly recommended!!!!!
It was one of the highlights of the trip for me! I could have enjoyed it for 3 more hours, I didn’t want it to end. Rebecca’s passion for the city of Dallas and the story of JFK’s death was so apparent, and I appreciate the way she shared the facts yet hold space for all the mystery and unknowns.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Rebecca, Discover Dallas Tours owner and tour guide. We had already known a lot about the events of that fateful 1963 day having lived through it, but we learned a lot more from Rebecca! She was professional, pleasant, patient and extremely knowledgeable. She was also punctual and generous with her time. Before booking this tour, I researched many reviews of all JFK/Dallas tours. I decided to take a chance on Discover Dallas Tours , and I'm so glad I did!
Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her tour The 58th anniversary was yesterday and will still be talked about 1,000 years from now
Rebecca had a tremendous amount of first handle knowledge from people directly involved in this historic event. I felt we learned way more than any history book could have taught us.
Our favorite tour was the JFK tour with Rebecca. We learned so much! It was fascinating to retrace the steps Of JFK before that fateful moment. We highly suggest this tour.
Rebecca was amazing. She spent a lot of time to explain the story as we felt like we were in it. It was an unforgettable experience & definitely worth ever penny
Our guide was, "Dan the Man". He taught us so much about JFK, the assignation and Dallas in general. I highly recommend this trip. Bring a bottle of water. Try to book on a day the Book Depisitory is open. We didn't know it was closed Monday and Tuesdsy. But actually worked in our favor as Dan gave us an hour tour of Dallas in place of the Book Depository...we loved it!
Recently while visiting in Dallas, I was interested in taking the JFK tour. With so many tour companies, I asked for a recommendation from the hotel. It turned out to be the best decision. The 3 hour personal tour covered all of the most relevant places along the route. Rebecca was super knowledgeable on all of the related subjects. It was so good that I would look forward to take the tour again. I highly recommend Dallas Discover Tours for the JFK tour or any other service they offer. Thanks again Rebecca. Great job!
Tour was amazing. Erin, our tour guide was very knowledgable. She was very detailed on the tour and was always willing to spend any extra time we needed on any of the stops. And while this was a JFK tour, she would always sneak in other facts about Dallas on landmarks as we passed them. Would recommend this tour to anyone
Rebecca the owner gave my wife and I a first class tour. Very informative, and fascinating to hear details of events not widely known. Her knowledge and personal touch on subjects elevated the experience. We highly recommend her tour! So much, we plan to take more of her tours of other locations.
Our Trip to the JFK Historical Tour in Dallas with Rebecca was more than words can say! Rebecca highlighted so many aspects of the area and events/places that we did not even know. The feelings of the people that day, the shock in the air, the heaviness in the streets...she captured all of it. Rebecca did a great job to showcase the entire experience with professionalism, humor and grace. At the end of our day, we mentioned that we wished she gave a private tour of the Southfork Ranch. She did. She did not know we were going and we did not know she gives tours of the ranch. So, we met in the morning again for another excursion and we took off. Again, another day of knowledge and facts. Thank you for the opportunity to work with Rebecca. She is a true diamond. ~The Blaesing Family, Indiana
We flew to Dallas for a few days from Seattle . We did several tourist things. By far the most enjoyable thing was the Kennedy tour with Rebecca. Rebecca was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. Not only did we see every place the President went but every place associated with the arch villain. We learned far more than we expected. Learning hasn’t been that entertaining. We had a great whirlwind tour of the rich and famous neighborhood to boot. I can’t remember the price of the tour but it was well worth it. Try it you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Darrylandjody
Such an interesting tour! We got in a van and were taken to all the places that were involved in the assassination of President Kennedy. Wow! So many things that I had no idea about! I was young in 1963, but have always heard things about the controversy surrounding the assassination. To actually be in the place that it happened was amazing. We saw the window from which the first shot was fired and stood behind the fence on the Grassy Knoll. We traced the steps that Lee Harvey Oswald took that day, to the boarding house, to the area where he met officer Tippett, to the shoe store and the theater where he was arrested. We passed the building where Jack Ruby shot him. We finished at the museum with a headphone “at your own pace” tour. A lot of information and things to see, including where Oswald was standing when he shot. I’m glad we decided to take this tour, I learned a lot! If you get the chance to go, don’t hesitate!
Erin is a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgable on the day JFK was assassinated. She also threw in some extras about the city because this was our first visit. We also took the Southfork Ranch tour. It was amazing also. Thanks Erin and we look forward to seeing you again on our next visit.
I feel I was the luckiest visitor to the JFK Historical Tour!! Rebecca was the absolute dream guide!! I was very fortunate that it was just Rebecca and I on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour for no more than two people at a time, especially if you have some knowledge of JFK, the Kennedy's, the assassination, and some of the conspiracy theories. Not only was I taken on the advertised tour, but Rebecca took time to take me to some very interesting sites along the way, which I am sure if there were more people on the tour, time constraints would have prohibited this. She also had a huge knowledge of so many interesting snippets of information of which I would not reveal , just so you can have the opportunity to enjoy those same snippets!! She also advised me on other sites to visit, quite easily by yourself with just a little prompting from her. I can honestly say I had the most fantastic one on one tour that enlightened me to some facts that I was totally unaware of and on further review afterwards found to be quite true. My tour was great value for money, there was no time constraints, I'm sure she gave me extra time. The only thing that would have made the tour more wonderful for me would have been if my dad was still alive and able to take this tour with me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rebecca and her company and I wish her all the luck for the future. It is an absolutely MUST DO EXPERIENCE!!!! Thanks again Rebecca, Sincerely, Martin D.
Rebecca was so kind. We were exhausted from our early flight but Rebecca made the tour very informative and even pointed out other highlights of Dallas. I never thought I would see a longhorn!
