The John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza was dedicated June 24, 1970. In the years since, it has become an integral part of the city’s urban landscape and cultural heritage.
Step into one of the most famous locations in American history as your guide leads you on a walking tour through Dealey Plaza and the Grassy Knoll. Stand at the exact location where thousands of witnesses gathered on November 22, 1963, and hear the dramatic story of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. You'll see the former Texas School Book Depository, the "X" marking the spot on Elm Street where the fatal shot struck, the Pergola, the Triple Underpass, the picket fence, and other key landmarks that have become central to one of history's most debated events. Your guide will explain the official timeline, eyewitness accounts, and the significance of each location while allowing plenty of time for photos and questions.
Visit the modest rooming house where Lee Harvey Oswald lived in the weeks leading up to President John F. Kennedy's assassination. This rarely included stop offers a unique look into one of the most significant locations connected to the events of November 22, 1963. Your guide will explain Oswald's daily routine, his movements on the day of the assassination, and the historical importance of the house. Learn about the landlady who rented him the room, hear fascinating stories surrounding his stay, and see the exterior of the home where one of history's most controversial figures once lived. This exclusive stop provides additional insight into the assassination timeline that few other JFK tours include.
J. D. Tippit Memorial Site Visit the historic intersection where Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit was fatally shot on November 22, 1963, approximately 45 minutes after President John F. Kennedy's assassination. Your guide will explain why this location became a pivotal part of the investigation and how the events that unfolded here led to the nationwide manhunt for Lee Harvey Oswald. Standing at the intersection, you'll learn about the eyewitness accounts, the timeline of the shooting, and its role in one of the most significant criminal investigations in American history. This important stop provides a deeper understanding of the dramatic events that took place throughout Dallas on that historic day.
Make a brief stop at the historic Texas Theatre, where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested approximately 80 minutes after President John F. Kennedy's assassination. During this 10-minute stop, your guide will explain the dramatic events that unfolded inside the theater on November 22, 1963, as Dallas police surrounded the building and captured the prime suspect. Learn how Oswald entered the theater without purchasing a ticket, the confrontation that took place during his arrest, and why this location became one of the final key scenes in the JFK assassination timeline. You'll have time to view the historic theater, take photos, and gain a deeper understanding of the events that led to one of the most significant arrests in American history.Stop along the way at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas.
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building in downtown Dallas, Texas, overlooking Dealey Plaza at the intersection of Elm and Houston.

Dan was an absolutely stellar guide on this tour. He went through each or the conspiracy theories and then talked about the facts of the event. We got to see many of the places where history unfolded on that fateful day, and he did a great job of allowing us to feel the weight of history as we went to the various locations. After the guided part of that tour, we got tour tickets for the sixth floor, which was amazing. A solid three hour tour!
John was very knowledgeable and passionate. He spoke only in facts, allowing you to form your own opinion.
This was a great tour. Our guide Dan was a wealth of knowledge on the entire Kennedy Assassination. He was high energy and shared many facts and theories regarding the assassination if President Kennedy.
Tim was a GREAT guide. He did an excellent job of setting the background and sharing the various claims of the Warren Commission, Oversight Committee, and various conspiracy theories. We have lots of reading and research to do when we get home now! Very thought-provoking and enjoyable tour!
Very in depth informative tour Tim Hamilton did an excellent job. He has in depth knowledge of various opinions and facts about the entire incident.
Tim, our tour guide, shared a lot of information about the Kennedy assassination which was very thought provoking. One of the best tours we have taken. Tim was excellent and would definitely tour with him again.
Dan was great!! Although the tour involved a sad day in American history, it was a very enjoyable day. See these historical sites was amazing. Dan was thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated that he presented the facts as “history tells us”. This subject can be controversial and he was able to speak about all aspects from a perspective of facts and history. I’d highly recommend the tour and if you’re lucky you’ll get Dan.
Our tour guide Dan did an awesome job. He was so passionate and informative about the subjects we discussed. He paid attention to the whole group and it felt more like a discussion than a tour which was nice. Seeing the house of Oswald was a very cool and unexpected experience. Would definitely recommend this
Cool perspective on a conspiracy rich mystery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a lot of cool insights. We talked for hours afterwards. The guide hope his presentation would cause more questions. He was successful!
Fantastic and comprehensive tour full of history and exclusive access to key historical sites. Worth the extra expense to get the added benefits.
The tour was amazing. Learnt a lot of new information. Tim, our guide, was excellent and delivered the content with passion. Would recommend this tour.
This was exceptionally the best tour anyone could take to experience the JFK assignation. Our guide Dan was the BEST. He was so informative and gave excellent narration. He truly had a passion for explaining and educating. I highly recommend this tour
Tour was well worth it. Dan was an excellent tour guide, made the experience much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend it.
This was my first trip to Texas / Dallas. I was 11 years old when JFK was assassinated and remember well the announcement in my 6th grade class as well as watching on television as Oswald was shot that weekend. Being an American history enthusiast I love to stand in the spots where history was made and this has been on my list for decades. It did not disappoint. This tour was so well done and Preston was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about all the events and characters involved. He debunked some things that I had grown to believe and enlightened me about some others. Having grown up in Dallas himself, he was able to give personal insight of his family and community response and reflection at the time. HIs personal research on the subject was obvious as was his commitment to an accurate telling of the story.
Tim was awesome! Very informative, non-biased, factual and speculative account. What really made you question…. Who did it! Loved it! The different sites were awesome as well
Tim was fantastic. We learned so much from him that the museum was almost anticlimactic. He was engaging, funny and very knowledgeable. This trip was great!
Dan was so passionate about the tour. I could have stayed longer with him and his information.
DAN!!!!! is great! He spoke with such immense passion and knowledge that the entire event became a complete, immersive experience for us. He gave us a clear and distinct picture of the fatal day and the actual sequence of events. Dan: "In our opinion" ;-), you clearly are the BEST tour guide!
This was the third time I’ve the JFK tour. Each time with a different guide. Each time has been amazing, a different tour each time.
Lots of information that left me thinking and feeling a better understanding of the events of Nov. 22, 1963. Glad I took this tour. Even my wife who is not so much into history enjoyed it.
John was fabulous- extremely knowledgeable and bursting with great information!
Very detailed oriented. Our guide was very knowledgeable . Learned a lot about JFK and the experience was fun
Can't recommend this tour enough. Our tour guide, Tim, was awesome. It is clear he has done much research on issue. He added in information from various sources, things I had never heard before - so much new information is being released. The meet up was easy. The van ride helpful to get a view of the sites and route. The walking portion allowed us to get up close to the areas of the events. Well worth the time and money.
Tim was wonderful, very experienced and full of knowledge which he was keen togreat tour impart. Still don't know who done it.
Very interesting tour and the guide was very knowledgeable about the facts. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Amazing tour! Learned so much. Preston was a fantastic tour guide. Highly recommend.
This tour went above and beyond my expectations due to our guide Dan. His enthusiasm, insights and ability to tie the events of the day all together made this tour a 5-star no matter your level of interest or existing knowledge about the JFK assassination. Everyone will walk away knowing something more and having a stronger appreciation for that day in our country’s history. Big high fives to Dan!
Preston was a great guide. He is very well researched and the amount of information was very helpful.
Preston was great! Fantastic tour guide!
This tour was so interesting. Preston was informative and interesting. Out driver was precious. Totally worth it.
Had an excellent time and Tim our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the facts surrounding this tragic day in our country's history.
Very comprehensive as it covers all aspects of the events of that day. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This tour was worth every penny. Our tour guide Dan couldn’t have been a better guide. He was extremely passionate, knowledgable, and entertaining! He communicated pickup instructions clearly and connected with everyone on the tour. He taught us facts that aren’t well known about the JFK assassination and walked us through each of the major events. 10/10 experience!
Dan was amazing. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He is a huge asset and adds to the experience.
Dan was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. We had a great time and learned a lot. Would highly recommend!
Tim was fantastic and very knowledgeable the 4 of us loved the tour We met a couple at our hotel and recommended the tour and they booked it
An enjoyable half day again with Dan who knows his stuff on the tragic events that led to JFKs assination, informative, thought provoking and no bias towards all the rabbit holes, this visit also goes to the Rooming House where Oswald stayed ( other tours don't always include this) I would without hesitation include this in your itinerary it's all an integral part of the history. Again another small party tour that also includes a visit to the Book Depository where the fatal shots were fired, if there was any shortfall I would personally have liked more time at the Museum you get around 1hr here but hey that's just my opinion.
Orlando , our guide was excellent kept the whole group engaged, answered all the question and was very kind with me.
Lots of good information! John was very good!
Preston (the tour guide) was the best. Shout out, to the driver she kept us safe. I enjoyed every minute of it. Just a suggestion. It might be a good idea to find away to work in a 10 minute bathroom break on the 3 hr tour for old people like myself. With that said, it was GREAT 😃👍 Kelly.
Couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable tour guide than Dan. Definitely well schooled on this subject and history in general. And his enthusiasm on these topics keeps your interest up the entire duration of the tour.
Dan was very informative and the tour was amazing. We started off with information and the we went to the site were JFK assassinated. Then we went the house Oswald lived at. Very cool tour!
My experience on this tour was awesome. Our guide, Dan, obviously loves his subject and is the best informed, most articulate, most experienced and most energetic guides I’ve ever had. I enjoyed how he and his driver, Thelka, worked together. The tour was 2.5 hours long, covering all of the angles to the JFK assassination story, walking the area in detail, visiting Oswald’s room at the boarding house, seeing the theater where he was captured, frozen in time, before handing us off to the museum at the book depository from which the assassin fired his shots! I was 9 years old when JFK was murdered, and I was devastated. Dan helped me to understand things I needed to know! He left the group with the impression that there was more to show and to discuss, but not enough time. Bravo to Dan and Thelka, who easily shifted the route each time she was asked! I would take this tour again!
Victor and Dan the man with Falcon as a driver made this trip a TRUE bucket list must do! Pop culture dispelled facts and things seen with my own eyes proved to me things I had not before believed. Was there a conspiracy? Was a foreign country involved? Did LBJ play a part.....Dan answers all with a mind blowing tour!
Dan was very informative and has a great sense of humor. he went above and beyond what you would have on a normal tour. I think everybody on the tour went home knowing more about the JFK assassination than even some experts.
